The price brought us here but even that couldn't entice me a second time. Even the beautiful roses growing around the property can't make up for an old, out of date motel. Think crumbling cement steps as you drag lug your suitcases to the second floor, a small dark stuffy room reminiscent of 1950s motels with a tiny tv (no flat screen here!), old shower […] head that rains needles of water, no bars of soap but a dispenser that sometimes gives a minute amount of soap & other times chooses not to. Don't expect any small bottles of shampoo or lotion here! No coffee either, altho the machine is there - they charge $2 a packet in the office! The worst part however was when we arrived, went up to our room, turned on the a/c, came back 3 hours later expecting to find a cool room, & the reality was that it felt like the a/c had never even been turned on! I booked this place over the internet. The pictures are flattering, we found - more on the roses than on the rooms. The price was excellent. We stayed in a suite which was large. The room was clean. The hotel is old and shows it. It does not serve breakfast. It is close to the recreation center and a long trail that ends at the city park at the lake.

I have to admit, the location is excellent, near Hwy 97 and easy to get around. I was surprised to find the room do not match with what Expedia described (supposed to be 2 queen beds and sofa bed). There is no sofa bed in any of their rooms. When I came in the room, the toilet bowl was disgusting. I had to clean up myself before my family saw it because […] their first impression was already bad. I saw a guest outside the open-air hallway with his chair smoking and browsing internet. At night, there was a party past beyond midnight. A good thing our room was not closed to that party room. The rooms still use keys (not card key). not very convenient first I got room 106 it was full of nasty smell even hard to breath than moved to other room on complaind, not drink tap water, not extra sink to user. I have my 4 kids and someone use washroom everyone have to wait to wash their hands. it wasnt a good one.

Half the stuff posted on itinerary didn't exist i.e. Hot tub was turned into a flower bed?? Suana was broken?? The room I booked wasn't the room they initially put me in when I arrived. Totally out dated for the price of the rooms and definetaly needs a complete renovation on entire Hotel.

The hotel was just OK..for the price we paid it wasn't up to our expectations. The breakfast was a basket of apples and a couple muffins for the whole hotel !! They had no electricity from 9 pm till 5 am but I don't know if it was in the whole area or not.

good location, nice strip of grass with tables and bbq's. small outdoor pool with lots of chlorine and dry sauna that didn't really get that hot. found some rolled up kleenex under the desk and bits of garbage under the bedside table, and something sticky under the bathroom sink - yuck - made me wonder how well everything else was cleaned.

Breakfast was just coffee and danishes, but overall it was a very comfortable room and staff were very helpful. Area was beautiful and I would reccomend a daily walk as the scenes are breathtaking.

I have stayed twice at this hotel. The location is good, next to IHOP. Continental breakfast not worth it is best if you cross the street to IHOP. Rooms are in general clean. A typical older motel thats relatively clean but had an air conditioner so small it never managed to cool the room down much and at night it was better just to open the windows. Mini mini continental breakfast. Nothing terrible, just an old motel..

This hotel is a good place to stay for families and sports teams. They are well set up to accomodate larger groups and are well located right next to the Rec center and sports fields. In my Queen bed room the airconditioner was right next to the bed, probably due to the room being smaller, and the air conditioner was loud. This place provided an inexpensive suite, where space, privacy and kitchen amenties are what you require. It is clean but very dated. If this is a special holiday this is not a place that I would recommend. If you are in Kelowna with a kid's sporting team and you want extra space and a place to cook then this is fine.

My boyfriend and I booked the cheapest room at this hotel for one night. We checked in late and front desk upgraded us to a huge room on the first floor so we wouldn't have to carry luggage up the stairs. It was extremely clean, quiet and the beds were new and comfy. Located right off the highway. Very pleasant stay.

In order to make this a true pet friendly place, I would remove the rugs in the rooms and replace them with lino.
