"Overall recommended."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
Nice hotel. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Very good food in restaurant, although lacking in ambiance. Convenient for mall or airport. Noisy corridor at night (right near elevator). Personable staff.

"Historic Bargain in Kennebunk"
The Kennebunk Inn is a great bargain . The building is old with older amenities but still very comfortable. Do not expect all of the bells and whistles of a modern hotel. However our room was very comfortable, clean and perfectly suitable for a short stay in Maine. We could not evaluate the restaurant as we stayed on a Monday and it was not open that […] day. Note that this hotel in in Kennebunk not in Kennebunkport. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A wonderful experience!"
Spending the night at the Kennebunk Inn was more than a night's sleep, it was an experience. My husband and I were on vacation with our two adult children. Our daughter is extremely picky and she said this was the best place we stayed in New England. Our family room actually had two rooms. One had a queen four-poster and the other had antique twin beds. […] The beds were so comfortable that we all had a hard time getting up the next morning. It is an old inn from the 1800's so don't expect everything to be modern. The hostess was terrific. She took us to our room and after seeing us she sensed that the first room wouldn't be the most comfortable so she gave us another room. The first room only had one bedroom with a daybed and trundle in the sitting room, and a clawfoot tub. Since there were four of us and I have a disability which makes getting in and out of a tub difficult I was delighted that the second room had a walk-in shower. There are some pretty steep stair to reach the second floor where all the rooms are. That and no coffee in the rooms were the only downers. The restaurant in the Inn is amazing. We got in just before the kitchen was closing but they did not rush us and gave first class service. The food was delish. Gourmet at not unreasonable prices. Will definitely stay there again when in the area, only will stay longer next time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Kennebunk Inn Not First Choice"
Now that I've seen the Kennebunk Inn and the Econolodge, I wish I had chosen the Econolodge. It was nicer, offered more, and cost less.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very comfortable and nice for a place built in 1799. We loved it. Wish we could have been there when the reasturant was open.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Kennebunk Inn: excellent value"
The innkeepers at the Kennebunk Inn are obviously trying very hard to create a tasteful ambiance in this historic inn. They have modernized as appropriate while still allowing the inn to maintain its 1799 charm. The owners are trained chefs and are principally interested in running the attached restaurant, which we did not sample, but which I have no […] reason to believe is not excellent. While I would recommend this inn to anyone and will consider staying there again, I must offer some constructive criticism. We came back to the inn at 9:30 at night and found that a large party had evidently rented quite a few rooms. These people were shouting to one another, talking, laughing - in short, having a great time. We had hoped to go to sleep early. By 11:20 I called the front desk. The noise subsided somewhat and by 12:30 they were all quiet. Needless to say, we spent the next day sleep deprived. The inn needs a policy on large parties (e.g., wedding parties must rent the entire inn or not at all!) and be vigilant about quieting guests down and/or providing them with an alternate room downstairs in which to visit rather than in the hallways outside other people's bedrooms. This was (hopefully) an unusual situation and I would STILL provide a high recommendation for the Inn.I hope to go again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"I will stay here anytime I am close to Kennebunk!"
wonderful stay in the family suite. The Inn is precious, clean, hospitable and the coffee is scrumptious! I will return for the coffee alone...but everything else was good to. Nice restaurant with excellent ravioli....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Historic doesn't have to be antiquated."
The hotel emphasised the "historic" character of the building and its restaurant. The first night the restaurant was full so we had to eat at the bar, the next two nights it was shut - but on the last night it was a good meal in pleasant surroundings. The historic aspect was, certainly in the plumbing, taken to extremes and the room was less than spacious. Overall […] it was an enjoyable stay in a well-run hotel but if they visited Europe they might realise that to be "old" you don't have to be ostentatiously out-dated. Be aware the rooms are small and the bathroom not modern but in all other respects it is a fun place to stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"not impressed"
room was very small, bed was uncomfortable, toilet area was elevated off the floor, exposed piping across the ceiling, internet was very slow no way to set up suitcases, front desk help was uninterested we expected more for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Kenebunkport Inn"
Small but clean rooms, polite and helpful staff. Caution - this older historic building doesn't appear to have an elevator. While the first floor is accessible, the upper floors may not be.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel in convenient location"
The Inn was fine, but don't expect too much. The room was clean, but it's an older building with squeaky floor and bed. Other than that, it was ok, easy to find and close to Kennebunkport without having to pay the price to stay there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"very cozy and friendly inn. Felt like home!!!!"
i loved the Kennebunk Inn. It is a cozy little inn and the staff is very friendly. The room was super clean and the living room, porch, and patio out back were great places to hang out. The only draw back was they only provided a coffee service in the morning. But there is a bagel shop next door and there is also an icecream shop that serves homemade […] icecream. It was close enough to Kennebunkport, but out of all the traffic. There was a free bus service that picks up at the inn. And beach passes were available through the inn also. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to everyone!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Charming, pleasant, and comfortable. Quiet, too. Breakfast was the only disappointment. Continental breakfast turned out to be only coffee service, but there's a great coffee place right down the street.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great First Visit to Maine"
The Inn was just fine, a good location for touring around the coast area. We enjoyed a delicious meal Sat. night. The best part of the meal were the mini desserts; a perfect size taste of a rich indulgence. I had the S'more and my husband had the chocolate peanut butter explosion. My kudos to the chef for the idea.Genuine Expedia guest review

For the price this is a great place to stay. Quiet, very friendly staff, and clean and comfortable beds. The place is a little run down, but who cares for the atmosphere and comfort. Highly recommended for families as you can get a reasonable suite.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good location"
Convenient location, easy to get to Kennebunckport etc. Staff was very helpful and pleasant, but unfortunately our room was noisy. There was some sort of banging or door slamming during the night but we couldn't be sure where it came from. Loved that it was pet friendly though!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Magnifique endroit"
