Everything was great, but the hot tub was out of service during our stay, which a big disspointment for the parents in our groupGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was just what we needed and for a great price. All of the employees were courteous and helpful. The only thing that bummed me out was that there was not an elevator to help haul our stuff to our room. The building is only two stories so walking up and down the stairs was not a problem at all after everything had been unloaded from the car and […] carried up the stairs. quiet area, easy to find. Anxious to see what the fee on the credit card will be. The one on the hotel receipt was less than the one quoted by Expedia.Genuine Expedia guest review
"nice hotel close to fishing"

"As good as any"
Overall very good Everything about was ordinary like any motwlGenuine Expedia guest review
"clean friendly hotel."
Very clean and friendly helpful staff. Good ammenities.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is clearly making improvements, and the room was average, no frills or anything fancy. The front desk clerk could use a lesson in manners. And there were a lot of kids running around late in to the night making sleep a challenge. We tried asking the front desk for help and got no where. The pillows were horrible, they weren't even real pillows […] but little blobs of stuffing and fabric. Get real pillows! The room was clean as were most parts of the hotel. Breakfast was hot, and decent. The location wasn't as good as we hoped but we worked around it. Overall it was an okay stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Overall a good experience. Very good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Will stay hehe again. We get into town about once every two months, so think we' ll stay here again. It was clean, neat, and the breakfast was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Walls are a bit thin, we got two noise complaints filed against us and we were merely talking. Other than that it was a great stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
overal really nice but the walls must be thin because we could hear our neighbors talking not very loudly on their cell phone when we were trying to sleepGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed there for a single night. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Breakfeast was decent - nothing fancy, but better than what I have experienced at similar class hotels. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel all around!"
We had a handicapped room which was HUGE! My husband is in a wheelchair and he was able to get around very well. There was available space between the beds so he could get in. Everything was clean, and orderly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice with an excellent breakfast"
It was clean, nice and close to everything. The continental breakfast is excellent. It had make your own waffles, sausages, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy on Sunday morning, and all the rest of the normal breakfast fare. The rooms are very large with a closet and a huge bathroom. They were very accomodating with our dogs. The pool is kind of small […] and there was overdosed with chlorine to the point of making your eyes water when you entered the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sleep Inn - Wisconsin Rapids"
On the outskirts of town, convenient location on a main street. Nice pool and hot tub. Friendly staff. Small breakfast, even for a hotel continental breakfast. Walls were very thin. Also, when we arrived, the heat was not on in our room, and it was very cold. Overall a good experience at a good price - we will stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disrespectful of your constitutional rights"
I was disappointed to see a sign posted banning firearms shortly after Wisconsin passed the overwhelmingly popular concealed carry law. Pick another hotel if you support our constitutional rights. Also, this hotel does charge a pet fee. The breakfast was average to below for this type of hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"New, not old."
When asked how long the motel had been there, we were told the facility was 6 years old. Our responce was it looked 6 years NEW! Would definately stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall the hotel was nice. However, the walls were very thin and you could hear everything going on in the rooms next to you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room, thin walls"
09/04/14 james123136 Batavia, Illinois
I stayed here 3 nights. Room was clean, bed comfortable, breakfast good. But the walls are so thin that I could hear people (and TV) talking at normal sound levels in the adjacent rooms. The first night there one neighbor left his TV on all night. I will probably come back but only if other places are booked as they were for this trip.
"Nice until you get here"

Not sure if we came at a bad time, but it's august 6th, which is the main summer season. First, our entire stay the pool was "broken" though it looked fine. As someone that has run a pool, this means that the chemical levels were off, or the pump was broken. Either way, it should have been fixed in hours, not the entire length of our three day stay. Likewise, we came when they were paving the parking lot. We had to park in a neighboring lot, which is fine. However, they did not post where the wet new pavement was, rendering several pairs of shoes to now have black bottoms, and a sidewalk full of new shoe marks as other patrons were unaware as well. When I went inside to inform the desk of the wet pavement, and the need for a sign, I was greeted with a "ok, move along" smile by the young front desk attendant. Rooms are outdated, and they use comforters that are worn. There was a 2 inch by 3 inch approx. white stain on my comforter for the entire length of the stay, which shows they do not clean, or change the comforter ( gross!! If I had allergies I'm sure they would be going off !!). I understand this place offers a lower rate from the Wisconsin dells area ; however, your money will not be appreciated here. Go to a place with newer and more appreciative accommodations.
"Excellent service, delicious breakfast, staff go the extra mile"
06/05/14 Melissa B Manitowoc, Wisconsin
I had a great stay at the Sleep Inn in Wisconsin Rapids. Mel and the hotel manager were fantastic. They took time to give me directions to a nearby Lake to run. The complimentary breakfast was FANTASTIC, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, bread, pastries, and waffles OH MY!!! My room was super clean and I could not have asked for a nicer stay.
"Feels like home"
05/23/14 Patrick M Chilton, Wisconsin
I stay out over 100 days a year. Having a hotel that makes me feel at home is important. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very nice. I can not think of one thing I would change. I would encourge anyone to stay here. If you try it you will be back!
"Bring your own pillows"
05/20/14 scuba1954 Monroe, Ohio
The staff was very friendly. The staircase carpet needed vacuumed. Bring your own pillows because the pillows they provide are square. I thought maybe they were folded in half but nope, they are square. I will stay here again when I am in the area but I will bring my own pillow
"Not too bad for business stop over"

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I need to comment on the lady helping with breakfast, I had my ice bucket with me to fill up, she offered to take and do it for me. The ice machine was on the second floor opposite end. This was very much appreciated. The front desk staff were also very friendly.

We were very pleased with the front desk as they were pleasant and very helpful. Our room was very nice, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The breakfast was disappointing. Biscuits and gravy were not edible, scrambled eggs were green and the sausage were floating in water. That being said we found enough to eat. The waffles, yogurt, toast and cereal were fine. Coffee and juice was also provided.
"super nice hotel"
10/13/13 robert g Morrison, Illinois
Great clean rooms and frendly staff. Stefphie super helpful on things to do in area! Lots to do and a super nice area. Cranberry season a great time of year, cheese factory, fishing. Shopping super close. Have tried other hotels in area, like the maples, and what a joke this place is. Stay as far away from him as you can.
"Clean Room Poor Service"
I stayed here for 3 nights. We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly. When we checked in we were literally given the FURTHEST room from the door to let our dogs out on the second floor on the opposite end of the hotel from the dog run. We were told someone on the first floor was allergic to dogs. Well I am paying extra for a dog fee NOT them so why am I the one being inconvenienced? Also found out later there WERE dogs on the first floor. Another minus is that there is no easy access to the driveway. You have to drive into another businesses parking lot amd turn around. Finally the "breakfast" don't expect anything other than cereal or waffles because they do not restock the fruit yogurt or boiled eggs. Also never had coffee because it was ALWAYS empty.
"A must stay!"
09/06/13 StormChaserMatt Kenosha, Wisconsin
Very satisfied with my stay here. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice continental breakfast, and very clean rooms. Close to all attractions in Wisconsin Rapids. Less then 5 miles from downtown. I would gladly stay here again.
