The stay was great. This is the 2nd year my kids and I have stayed there. Each year we come to a regional volleyball tournament saturday & sunday at the GA World Congress Center. The staff was kind enough to have breakfast earlier than usual because they knew we had to leave early in the mornings. Only complaint I had was one night when the girls wanted […] to just hang out downstairs doing their nails, eating pizza, etc. While one of the moms was chapporane the girls, the request to change the channel on the lobby tv was denied. Breakfast was too early; 9:30 a.m. to end is too early for a week-end stay. Everything was fine until we found the packaging of a condom under the bed when we left...Housekeeping could have been better. Nice neighborhood.

Breakfast hours on week days 7a to 9a and weekends 7a to 9:30a. Pitiful!

This was my second stay at this hotel. I've stayed at a number of hotels over the past six month, and this was one of the more comfortable places I've stayed at. This place hits the sweet spot for me: spacious room at a good rate, kitchen counter/sink/refrigerator/microwave, one block away from a full service grocery with gourmet options (Kroger), nearby Chase bank and Chipolte, it's few blocks away from Marta train station, pleasant colors in lobby and rooms, a good vibe overall, and friendly and helpful staff. I would highly reccomend this hotel to any one. Great southern hospitality, wonderful breakfast, comfortable beds, free wifi, business center,pool and shuttle to help you in transportation. What else would you want. Two thumbs up!

Our room was pretty clean and comfortable. We could have used more towels and another blanket, but, we didn't ask. I'm sure they would have supplied them. The location is VERY convenient to downtown and shopping, etc. It's smack in the middle of a shopping district with restaurants, etc. nearby. We have stayed in this hotel a number of times. The ability of getting out on the road when you want is worth every cent if the hotel was not as good as it is. The staff has always been nice. the hotel staff was very attentive and pleasant. the only compliant was that the parking rate was too expensive.

This was one of my best hotel experiences ever. First off, I found a great rate on weekend days (but found the rate goes up quite a bit for week-days). I had a king suite, which was very comfortable, super-clean, like-new, and very efficient. It had a tiny kitchen area with microwave, sink, fridge, and shelving which worked out well for preparing salads […] and serial. All the plumbing worked well, with excellent water pressure and quick hot water flow. The bed was comfy, and the heating/air unit worked really well. The furnishings were just a bit stiff, but easy on the eyes and comfortable enough. I had a room at the end of the hall, which made for a nice, quiet location. The hotel is one block away from a very large/deluxe Kroger grocery and there was also a lot of retail shopping in the area. Trader Joes is about a 20-min. walk away. This hotel is about a few blocks away from the Buckhead Marta subway station, which is how I arrived. A super practical, comfy, and economical stay. HIghly recommend. Read more

We stayed a week at the Springfield Suites in Buckhead and were very happy with the cleaniness and the quietness of the hotel. We didn't hear water running, door slamming or housekeeping knocking the entire week and the hotel was completely filled due to a large trade show. Great weekend in a perfect location. Thrilled with the value. Just wish they had chairs in the pool area- had to sit on the floor while kids were swimming.

We had a family group of 13 from 3 cities, meeting for Labor Day weekend. The hotel staff expedited reservations and made certain we were all located on the same floor. The hotel is in a busy, potentially confusing area of Atlanta. The staff anticipated difficulty with finding our way, providing preprinted driving directions to various attractions. […] The shuttle took us within a 2-mile radius to restaurants and the train station. Did not like the fee for parking, motel expense should have covered this.

I needed a suite with two queen beds and a sofabed for my two grandsons and this hotel was perfect. Very clean and we had early checkin, I requested extra towels and they were delivered immediately, front desk very helpful and friendly. This hotel staff was above and beyond the norm very help-ful and extremely friendly! The hotel cleaning staff must be commended for their continuous efforts of keeping the hotel spotless on a daily basis. My only complaints are the parking fees and the guest towels and the sheets on the beds somewhat below standands, the guest who stay in te hotel should […] be given free parking; the towels are of cheap quality and uncomfortable when drying off ; the linen on the bed are also of poor quality the linen was wrinkled and looked as though it had been stuffed away somewhere. I stayed at this hotel last Saturday night. Unforunately I was given poor customer service and this has led to a poor review. If anything a hotel can set itself apart from others by simply giving great customer service. The manager on duty Sunday morning doesn't understand that. I wasn't made aware I had to pay for parking until I got my bill. Still, […] it was only $15 and that's not a lot of money when you get to park in secure garage in downtown Atlanta. Obviously you want your car protected. However, the garage was full and I had to park in a bank parking lot where anyone had access to my vehicle. When I tried to get the $15 parking fee removed I was told no by the manager. I asked if he could at least cut it in half and again was told there was nothing he could do and if I wanted to I could call the hotel back to speak to his General Manager. This was not a GM issue and the manager on duty lost a customer for life over $15. Again, very poor customer service. Read more

This hotel has changed drastically. My experience was horrible to say the least. After only one night at the hotel, I checked out, due to a feeling that I was not in a safe environment. While the staff was very helpful, this is not a hotel I would choose again, nor is it one I would recommend to anyone else.

Separating the bed from the desk enabled me to work while my wife slept. Walking distance to very nice french restaurant Bistro Niko and the mall made this very convenient. Getting into the High Museum was only two stops on the subway... great breakfast area, very clean and well maintained lobby. We checked into this hotel for an overnight in Atlanta. The hotel is located in an awesome area and is within walking distance of restraunts and shopping. We found the location to be very near everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel offers a free shuttle within two miles of the hotel for their guests. Our room was beautiful and very large. The […] only issue I had was our first room was not cleaned very well but the front desk personnel immediately took care of us and moved us to a new room. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful. The exercise room and pool area are also very nice . I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyway needing to stay in Atlanta. Read more

I rated this low because we had to pay $15 a night for parking, was not stated when we reserved.

I was in town for an event at the convention center, but most of the group I was staying with was a nearby hotel in Buckhead. Springhill Suites was in a good, safe location- about a 5 block walk to MARTA. Nearby there were some restaurants and a Krogers grocery Store. The room was clean and had a kingsize bed, a small living area, very functional desk […] and a small kitchenette. The trip to and from Downtown varied depending upon the train schedule, but generally about 35-45 minutes including my walk. I missed breakfast one morning by about 10 minutes, but I was able to obtain some cereal boxes and one of the employees went out of his way to find me some milk. Overall, it was a very good value. Economical, but not so great. Parking, which costs $15 a day, was underground - if you were lucky. If not, its free, but across the street in a shopping center lot. Breakfast was very limited in its offerings, though probably not unusual for this type of affair; just disappointing. From the moment that you enter into the lobby of the hotel, you are greeted by the beautiful design and decor of the hotel. The hotel is about 15 min from the local attractions including the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-cola. The only problem that I had with the hotel is that you have to pay for parking which was 15 dollars per day. The hotel […] seems to cater primarily to the traveling businessman rather than vacationing families since I had to ask where they keep the brochures on the local attractions and restaurants in the area. These brochures should be near the lobby where the guest can seen them rather than place in a back room down the hall from the front desk almost hidden in the computer room. I'm noticing a trend not just in this Marriott hotel but another I've stayed this year. It seem that doing a half cleaning job has become a norm for these hotels. I saw mold on one of the shower curtains and odd stain on one of the chairs that nearly seeped through to the other side (I don't even want to know what that was). My family and I stayed there during the week to see Atlanta sites and had a great time. The room was spacious, great price, comfortable, and welcoming staff. The pool was good sized for my young kids. The breakfast had enough variety that my kids desires were all met. The subway was a short 10 blocks away. Quite a few restaurants around that are an […] easy walk. We felt quite safe in the area. Don't forget the parking fee. The neighborhood is white collar, so my wife and I were uncertain about bringing our kids into a restaurant full of people on business lunches and dinners, but there are plenty around to choose from if you want upscale, or more family diner. The subway line stop is five stops from the main station, so you can get to almost anywhere in Atlanta the Subway goes with relative ease. Read more

The hotel was great. My only issue was the fact that I had to pay $15 for parking, and the electronic card for parking entry never worked. I was given a new card swipe, and needless to say it didn't work either. But overall, the stay was enjoyable.

Indoor pkg. cost $15 per night. Could access car as many times as needed in a 24 hr. period. In room A/C unit was a little noisy.

This hotel was extremely cheap for such a great location in Atlanta. The staff was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed without having to leave our room. It was very classy and up to date and the location was awesome...OFFICIALLY the ONLY hotel I will look for in Atlanta.
