For the price and location this place cannot be beaten. Loved being on the first floor facing the lake with a screened in porch. Whirlpool tub was a nice surprise as was the flat screen tv. I will definitely be back! Hope to see the bald eagles next time.

This is the second time we've stayed at Westgate @ Emerald Pointe. The first time, we had a lake view and went during winter, so there weren't many people there. This time, I didn't think the lake view was worth the extra $30 a night. The condo is much larger, when facing the parking lot, so it's pretty obvious that the outdoor patio (with lakeview) […] takes up a fair amount of the condo footprint. The problem we discovered this time (and mentioned on several other reviews) is the noise factor. Our neighbors literally sounded like they were sitting in our living room talking. They weren't being excessively loud, at all, that's just how badly this place needs some insulation. We could hear every cough, every sneeze, and every conversation, clear as a bell. I'm sure they heard us, too. We stayed in room 419 and it was sorely lacking in the most basic kitchen necessaties. NO mixing bowls (only had cereal bowls), no colander, tongs, etc. The maintenance man was in our room, working on the remote, and he found a bowl in the storage room (at the office) for us. Our son loves the activities; shuffleboard, putt-putt golf, indoor pool, and game room. However, another downfall is having to pay $10 for internet, for one day. Very antiquated policies. Until we are notified that there have been some serious changes in the lack of insulation, we won't be back. Read more

The Condo we stayed in was very run down, stains on the carpet and furniture. Bathroom had cracked tiles and we noticed cob webs in some corners. The Condo was well supplied with everything we needed.

We liked renting the condo. Having a second bed would have been nice, but we worked it out. The pull-out couch wasn't the most comfortable. Loved the view of the water! We liked having a tv, fridge and microwave. We would have liked Netflix or On Demand services for movies, but at least we could bring DVD's. Having a lower fee for internet services […] would be nice. Remember to bring everything, like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee creamer, because nothing is available unless you find Walmart. Rooms are very nice, but make sure you get a king size bed room.. It's the only one that actually has a place to hang your clothes. The other rooms have a spot in the corner where you might be able to hang two shirts sideways. There is not much sound barrier between floors or walls, you can hear every footstep and voice. living room furniture needed greatly to be updated. Bedroom spread was very old and in need of repair. Mattress was not pillow top that we had been promised and was like a rock. 1st I had no problems with the staff. They were what I would expect to be the standard at any hotel. That said almost everything else was a total letdown. The pictures on the site did not in any way represent the room we received. Most of the floor tiles were loose or broken. The walls are so paper thin that at one point we even heard someone placing a glass down on the table in another unit. If your room connects in any way to another you will hear everything. (Above, Below or Sides) We woke up to other rooms conversations each morning. The bed was awful! The first morning my wife and I both said that that was the worst nights sleep we had had in a long time. We booked this room because of the space. with 3 young kids we like the privacy of our own room with the kids on the fold out in the other room but this place feels like your neighbors are in the room with you. The walls we too thin, we could hear a gentlemen coughing next door and kids running upstairs above us. Check out too soon. Probably wouldn't stay there again. The concierge and the front desk gal at night were great.

We wanted a king bed so we had to take a room on 1st floor which was similar to a basement that was dug out. When people flushed it sounded like a flood coming through. When the people talked over us, we could hear what they said. It was a nice room in a lovely setting. The rooms on this website don't have a lake view.

Accommodations were clean, the room was noisy; you could hear everything that the neighbors were doing. It was pretty far out of town as well. The views were nice, if you can get one. Would be a great place to go if you want to stay on the resort.

Rooms could have been cleaner. Spider webs and a spider in the room and a few nasty spots on the tile in the bathroom and walls. Very hard to find at night if you are not fimilar to the area with long, narrow, dark roads but with it that close to the lake I guess it is to be expected. The front desk staff was not very friendly. They did not tell us anything about the amenities that they offered. We were given information concerning wi-fi but when we tried to use it, it would not work. We called the front desk and were told that it costs 10.00 a day. We chose not to order it. Our room with the lake view was fantastic.

The staff was very friendly and fast for checkin and service. Quick drive into Hollister for food and supplies. Stayed in two different units .. Both nice, but one felt more updated than the other. Was here after Labor Day so not busy, but not deserted either. Gated, secure area.

They tried to sell us a time share. Was not interested. Would have stayed somewhere else if I had known a time share presentation would be offered. Hotel room needs to be updated. Bathroom was not very clean. Air Conditioning and heat needs maintenance. Room needs painting and additional features like mirrors.

We didn't realize the bed was not at least queen sized. This was not specified on www.hotels.com. When asked about it, hotel staff said 'you are in a theatre sized room so that makes the bed look smaller." The bed was a double bed. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbors upstairs and adjacent to us. My wife and I were so surprised at what an AWESOME experience this was. We had no idea the room would turn out to be more like the inside of a house or at least an apartment - with dishes, washing machine & dryer, hot tub, patio, full kitchen - the works! The view was amazing as well. We could not have been happier in this regard! The only negative […] thing was the hotel staff. Two different ladies were very impatient. For example, upon check-in, I asked how to find our building. The lady answered my question but as quickly as possible. It was obvious that she felt her job was finished after handing me my key. She was so standoffish that I completely forgot to ask other questions that I wanted about the facilities: how to access the lake, when the pool is available, where local restaurants are located, etc. She would have never allowed me to ask these questions - as important as they are to someone unfamiliar with the area. If she had been willing to spend 30 more seconds with me, we could have maximized our experience at the resort! The second woman was equally ready to hangup the phone when I simply called to ask when check-out time was. All in all, I WILL still recommend this hotel. We loved our stay. The hotel stay turned out to be the best part of our stay in the nearby Branson, MO area. However, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND PUTTING THE STAFF THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING... particularly the lady that was working the evening of 7 September, 2012. Read more

My husband and I enjoyed this resort so much. We had a beautiful lakeview with a screened in balcony. We enjoyed many days and evenings out on the balcony.The only thing we did not like was how loud our neighbors kids were at times. Yes! We would stay at this resort again it was great.

Extremely comfortable, clean, and friendly staff. The only thing that was undesirable was mentioned in other reviews was the thinness of walls to other guests. If you can, try to get a room on the 4th floor to elevate the little kids running on the floors above. I was prepared for the guy who snored next to us by using ear buds to my phone as I listened […] to some soft music to put me to sleep, or you could use a sound machine. But be prepared to hear full conversations of people in the rooms next to you. Enjoyed the closeness to the State Park Marina where we rented a boat. The condo we stayed in could use a little updating. Example: larger tvs, newer carpet, fixtures, and decor. The view from the condo was magnificent and worth the price of the room. Hotel pools were great. Location is a little far from 76 hwy. but worth the distance for such a beautiful location.

We would definitely stay here again. It is 15 min from Branson Landing and SDC. The property itself is gorgeous and sits right on Table Rock Lake. The outdoor pool we visited (there are a few) was better than the average hotel pool. We would stay again b/c we liked having the separate sleeping area from our children. The kitchen and laundry facilities […] were great, too! The room was very plain and the bed/pillows in the bedroom were uncomfortable. The temperature control for the bath/shower was the worst I've ever encountered! Also, I was a little disappointed the girl who checked us in didn't write down our bldg #, so we had to return to the clubhouse check-in to get that information. She had her own area and was able to keep the heat comfortable for her AND we were are to keep ours comfortable us. (Very Important). We had a great view of the lake.
