room was very clean, indoor pool was just as cold as the outdoor pool. wireless internet wouldn't work but the staff was very friendly and helpful! great ocean views. great value. perfect hotel for the couple that are under 21 but 18+ that are not able to check in to nearby luxury hotels along ocean blvd due to age.

Hot tub and sauna not working. Older place needing updated although always clean. Resort fee of $5.00 plus tax per night is unjustified, especially off season. Front desk polite and helpful.

The hotel had great rates, but it was not what the discription implied. It is simply a large motel and the word "resort" is not a good choice for this hotel. The rooms were clean and the view was terrific. I was not impressed with the front desk staff since they didn't seem to have answers for many questions. Although we had a nice time, I would not reserve rooms again.

The hotel itself was okay. We were supposed to receive a room with a stove, but didn't. When we asked to be changed, the lady at the front desk said that if we switched rooms that our promotion wouldn't still be in effect (buy 2 nights, get one free). We literally had to turn the water on to the shower and wait 15 minutes before we got in. It took it that long to heat up. The last day we were there, I called to ask if we could check out at 12:00 instead of 11:00 and the man said no and hung up the phone. There are so many choices for hotels in this particular area, I wouldn't choose this one again and I'm not a picky person.

We had a 2 room suite with a Murphy Bed. The room was somewhat cramped and smaller than expected. There was no restaurant. Our room was on the 11th floor and was more like a motel than a hotel. The entrance to the room was actually from the outside. There was a window in our bedroom to the outside and a light that stayed on all night outside of our door, the light shone through the window at night even with the curtains closed. On the other hand the room was clean, it was ocean front, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurants and entertainment within walking distance and we enjoyed our stay.

I went in October, so the prices were cheap, because o the low cost I wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away when we pulled up to the hotel. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in a while. I had the oceanview instead of ocean front and there is a difference. The oceanview room is small, but the bathroom was spacious, there was a decent size dorm room fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, etc. A full size ironing board, a decent sized balcony with chairs and the room only felt small because of the king sized bed crammed in. I didn't mind, the service was excellent, the indoor whirlpool was wonderful. We used the indoor instead of the outdoor b/c that one was full. The bar really does convert to a night club, when they have featured performers but it can be a rip off. They charge high prices. The hotel is really on the beach, it's only 8miles from Myrtle Beach downtown, Aquarium, etc. Another 8mil North is the Casino cruise. I would def stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed in the Myrtle Beach area before and were minimally impressed and often less-than-satisfied. The Ocean Drive Beach and Golf Resort was well-presented, clean and architecturally pleasing asmy wife and I drove into the very accesaqble parking lot. The desk staff were very business-like and reserved in their demeanor, but handled our check-in quickly and smoothly. The elevator took us to our floor smoothly. Our room was close to the elevator. The room was clean, attractive and and well lit. The balcony gave us clear view of the beach, the ocean and the hotel amenities below our room. The carpet, the bed and the sheets were very cleaqn. The bathroom was clean and stocked with ample. clean towels. Overall, the room was in great shape as we settled in after our long drive to South Carolina. The hotel was quiet throughout the night. The early morning view of the ocean and the beach was stunning. My wife and I are seasoned road travellers. I would reccommend this hotel to family, friends and business peers. Again, we have been travelling to Myrtle Beach for a numbeer of years and have not been as sqatisfied with any previous hotel as we were with the Ocean drive Beach and Golf Resort.

We had a great time at the hotel. Very impressed with everything. My husband went out in the lazy river, pool and hot tub a couple of times. Loved the location and able to walk up the road to some shopping. Even driving places was not bad. Have already recommended to some friends and family. Have every intention of returning next year!

We did like this hotel.

For the price, you really can not complain about this hotel. It is right on the beach. It has a nice pool area complete with hot tub and as a bonus, a lazy river. The gym area is decent enough to get a good workout. They also have a game room. My only complaint is that the room was outdated. For one night, it served its purpose.

First time staying at this hotel :the room was small but clean,the kitchenette is abonus ,a great balcony overlooking the view.The staff is very friendly .Definitely will come back .

The hotel was VERY clean and had many amenities; such as a restaurants, pools, hot tub, lazy river--no towel service outside though--my husband and I have two little ones so we enjoyed the fact that we were right off of the beach and there was a lazy river for the family to enjoy. I have to say that the area seemed to be more for seniors and families--we didn't see any single young people lol. Oh and don't forget to bring your own umbrellas and chairs for the beach--unless you are prepared to rent!

It was definitely worth the price. It was clean and the location and the view were great. I liked that there was an indoor and outdoor pool and indoor and outdoor hot tub. The lazy river was defenitely a plus. My favorite part was the bar that was attached to the hotel. It was a fun place to hang out.

For the past few years we have stayed at ODB&G Resort. We enjoy the layed back atmosphere and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. I hope to bring several family members with us next year for an extended family vacation and this is where we plan to stay. A few things were not working when we first got there on Saturday but by 10:00 Monday morning everything was in tip top shape. Which tells me that close attention is paid to the quality of the facility. We will continue to book our NMB vacations with this hotel.

the room was very small for the price I paid..could barely more around the bed. It was clean and close to main street and the beach.

The greatest features this hotel had to offer were the location,which was literally on the beach, and a great balcony overlooking the view. The kitchenette in the room was a great added bonus. The rooms were clean however we had to ask to have our garbage taken out everyday and the sheets were not changed overnight. The staff however was very friendly and accomodating. Overall it was a good experience and I would recomend it to other beach-goers.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I have to say that I would definitey come back. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was superb, close to many attractions (i.e. Barefoot Landing, clubs in Myrtle Beach, tons of great places to eat), while still being far enough from the craziness of Myrtle Beach to be able to relax in peace.

The hotel was very clean for a beach hotel, no sand anywhere in the room. The price was definitely worth the location, it was not expensive and the view was beautiful. And there were plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. We would stay here again.

Would have been nice to know ahead of time that the hotel charges a "surcharge" that you have to pay at check-in...it was only $5...not sure why that can't be handled with the reservation.

Housekeeping was great one day and very mediocre the next. Hotel offered a variety for elementary age children, and the efficiency suite served the purpose. Desk clerks were accommodating. Older plumbing...noise from bathroom pipes...needs remodeling. Busy location but fun and convenient to Restaurant Row as well as grocery stores.

The hotel was nice overall however, the bathroom was way too small! The hotels amenities were wonderful considering the area had limited things to do close by.

The hotel was worth the price. The surrounding area has plenty of entertainment and the hotel was beachfront for all the sunbathers. In addition, I lost two items during my stay: a pair of expensive sunglasses and a book I was reading for a history class. The hotel personnel returned both to me and even had to mail the book to my home. I was satisfied with my stay and we plan to take our children when we return next summer.

Very good location, beach was well maintained by North Myrtle Beach. Problem: we didn't know the U of Va kids were coming in, they took over the hotel, abit much. Wish we were warned about that for our week-end stay. We knew it was bike week, that wasn't a problem. Easy taxi ride to really nice restaurants.

The hotel is nice, great location, friendly staff, but it doesn't have a restaurant and so you need to find a place to eat all your meals. Dinner is not a big deal cause there is a place right around the corner but breakfast is much harder.

Overall, a good experience. Outside pool and lazy river were not heated and could not be used at all in the 70 degree air temperature we experienced.

the only dissapointment was an extra charge of 16.00 for a 3 day stay after booking online. yhinking the room was fully paid.
