Overall impression of hotel is that it provides mediocre service and accommodations for vacation travelers. Very limited menu for both restaurant and room service. TV had limited stations and had volume control set so low that you could barely hear the TV from across the room when lying in bed. Walls are paper thin - you can hear everything going on […] in the room next door. Telephone service was less than accomodating - no effort to provide voicemail or take messages from incoming calls. As a result, we missed a connection because the phone operator simply told the caller that they had to call back later, rather than taking a message or recording. Hotel is located in the middle of an industrial park, so there are no attractions close at hand - everything, including the airport, is at least 30 euros away. Don't be fooled by the low price - it is not all the ratings claim it to be. Read more

The Hotel is very Comfortable and in perfect conditions. It's far from the city center but there's a bus stop just in front of the hotel; The last bus from downtown to the hotel is at 11:45PM. There are other busses that run later but are farther away. The room is perfect but the bathroom door is a snowed glass door, so you don't get much privacy..

This hotel is pretty close to the airport. It is clean and comfortable and on the bus line so we were able to get to the city center pretty quickly. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a vacation spot or for a stay longer than a couple of nights. There is nothing in the immediate area for a family to do.

This is a very nice hotel located in a modern, high end, office park (IBM, Texx, Price-Waterhouse, etc.) that is not far from Schipol but far from downtown. The rooms are large and well appointed, I didn't visit the restaurant. The hotel is easy to get to on 195 bus (10 min.) from AMS airport; or on the #2 tram and #18 bus from center city but it's […] a long ride (30min or more). The real problem is that there is nothing else near the hotel, nothing at all. So it is great if you are visiting one of the offices during the week, elsewise you need to plan travel time to even find a place to eat (besides the hotel). Limited staff, only 1-2 people in the check in counter and no concierge. Very far away from the city center. 45 min by tram, and if you take the tram, walk at least 15 min by foot to the station. Great hotel, one of the best ones we've ever stayed at. It's very stylish and modern throughout, the room was spacious and spottless. Free wi-fi is provided, as well as a free safe, hairdryer, iron, coffee&tea in your room and ice machine on each floor. I think they have a gym and pool but we haven't used it. The sound insulation is so good that in […] 4 nights we never heard a sound from the other rooms or outside. You can get a free amsterdam map at the reception as well as buy the tram/bus tickets. The tram stop is 10min away (20-30 min trip to the centre) and the bus stop is just outside of the hotel. I wish the hotel was closer to the sights but the luxury and comfort outweight this disadvantage. We would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers. They have 20% discount for 4nights and over, which was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel. The only 'but' is the restaurant - the food is terrible and overpriced. Nice hotel, relatively clean rooms but looks run down. Location is not that great. Nothing really around the hotel, but close enough to the city centre. All office buildings, so it is deserted at night. Pretty good service. Room safe didn't work when we first arrived and it did take a few phone calls but it was resolved the following day.

The location is fine if you don't mind a bit of a walk to get the tram. The room service is bad and they didn't listen to the order properly and food is bad for the price. The room didn't have electric one morning which caused a big problem. It's a clean and nice looking hotel but will stay elsewhere next time.

I've noticed people complaining about this hotel, claiming its too far out, the staff were rude, the interior is old & tired etc, but I really enjoyed my stay here. Our room was clean and spacious - we had a smoking room on the 8th (top) floor and it was light and airy with everything you needed. The bed was huge and comfy and there was a spare blanket […] in the cupboard, plus there was air conditioning and a generous-sized flat screen TV. There were a few marks on the floor (cigarette burns) and a small crack in the sink but this was not an issue for us - its not a brand new hotel after all. No-one disturbed us during our stay and the room was cleaned every day. The bathroom had a nice bath with an overhead shower. Although it is near a main road it wasn't noisy. The bus 145 stops outside the hotel but doesn't accept the passes you can buy to get around the city. Me & my partner preferred to walk directly through the housing estate opposite which took less than 10 minutes to the main road to catch Tram 2 (which is on the direct route for all the tourist spots in Amsterdam including the Vondelpark, museum area, shopping areas, Dam Square etc) which comes every 6 minutes or so and takes 20 minutes to get to Central Station. There is also bus 18 from the same stop if you prefer, which is more scenic. We didn't try the restaurant - we ate out in Amsterdam instead. There was no issue with billing or paying the city tax. All in all, for the price you can't go wrong. Read more

The hotel is around 15 mins with a buss in to Amsterdam. Rooms were nice and clean. The only thing i can say was kind of negative, was that most of the staff was moody except for 1 or 2. It was nothing around the hotel, but that we allready new before booking the room, so cant complain about that.
