Not a fancy place, but we thought it was perfect for our needs. Two beds, separate bath and toilet rooms. Restaurant downstairs was quite good. Large mall right across the street. Easy access to tram, and you get free passes when you check in.

We selected this hotel because our family needed to catch a 7:30 a.m. flight. Bus #10 stops 1/2 block from the hotel. The first bus to the airport comes just before 5 a.m., then every 10-15 minutes. It was an easy early morning connection to the airport. It's also easy to take Bus #10 downtown, perhaps 25 minutes each way. It's now just further down the airport terminal, and there are two small signs advising same. The hotel is the 5th stop from the airport. The hotel is quiet. It's clean. Staff is professional and courteous. The mall is across the street, as is the Shell convenience store with the McDonalds. Our family would stay there again. This is not a luxury hotel for a lenghty stay. It is completely great to stay the night before a flight, and have access to the city center. Read more

1. we are nonsmokers and were given a smoking room 2. we had an early am flight and asked for a wakeup call that they failed to call on 3. they do not have a hotel shuttle and we were told we could take a free city bus that was very easy. There is a free bus. We returned our car to the airport and tried to find the bus stop for over an hour. No one […] spoke English or could help us locate where it arrived at the airport. We finally figured it out, but it was NOT easy. 4. We had asked for directions to the car rental return at the hotel, but were told it was very easy to find. It was not. After three turns around the airport we finally found it. Signage was not good. The property itself was very nice and in a great location. The help however was impatient and not very informative. We chose this hotel because the ratings for the other Novotel in Geneva were not great. This one was very good. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We received free transportation cards at check in. The hotel is a walk from the main street, but it was nice to get the free cards. We had a car, and there was ample parking in the garage. Close by […] was the oldest restaurant in Geneva, Cafe du Soleil, which has great fondue. On a side note, we did go by the other Novotel, and it didn't seem as bad as people rated it. I could not have picked a better place to stay close to the Geneva Airport. The room was large, beautifully furnished, nice bathroom with tub and shower, very contemporary but extremely comfortable. I certainly would return there on my next stopover in Geneva.

The hotel was able to provide parking. After researching parking in Geneva I was led to believe parking would be next impossible but this Novotel has parking underneath. They also supplied a bus pass to take the bus to the center of town and back. I would stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our room. It was stocked well with amenities in the room, was splendidly clean and as we were less than 5 minutes from the airport, extremely quiet! Staff was also very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again and would try to look for another in this line of hotel.

The buffet meals were delicious, especially the breakfast. Champagne was a nice touch. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and is smack in the middle between Vatican city and other sites in Rome.

Geneva was very booked up when I made reservatons so few choices and most of them over-priced. Although not in the desired downtown area, this hotel seemed the best compromise and proved to be totally adequate when I arrived. Small lobby, small elevators but quite roomy in the room itself. My three friends and I stayed at the Suite Novotel and it was perfect for us! Rooms were spacious and super compfy, and had a microwave and fridge which was great. Geneva is expensive, so keeping some snacks in the mini-kitchen was helpful. The location is 10 minutes from the airport by bus, and 10 minutes to downtown by bus. There is a HUGE mall right […] across the street with restaurants and a great grocery store we went to every day. The hotel staff was very friendly and gave us free 3-day public transportation passes. This was awesome to have, and saved us some money! Something I would recommend: go to the Tourist center downtown to get suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The hotel is modern and pretty comfortable. I was disappointed for two reasons: first, I was given a smoking room, though I had requested a nonsmoking room. I only booked it a couple of days before, however, so maybe that's why. Secondly, it's not really an airport hotel in that there is no shuttle service and the taxi was, as I recall, about 25 francs, […] which is almost the same as going into Geneva center. There is a bus #10 that takes you from close to the hotel to the airport, so it may work for taking you to the airport; the bus stop was on the departure level but not obvious. Read more

We stayed here one night before flying out of GVA. All hotels in Geneva give guests free transit passes, but this hotel is right by a bus stop that runs every 10 minutes (even in the very early morning) and is 10 minutes from the airport. No need for a car or a taxi.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was not open on Sunday and the morning "buffet" (the pay buffet in the restaurant) was a little sparse. There are no other convenient places to eat in the area except for the fast food places across the street in the mall. The ride to the airport is expensive. Very comfortable, clean and fairly large room. While the overall decor was somewhat 'sterile' the bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. A great shower. This was a typically modern European hotel. It's an example of where in decor, form trumps function. I prefer a hotel with a warmer decor rather than this modernist approach with plastic/fibreglass bathroom and WC. That said, it was very clean - very important - and the front desk were hopeful. This simply had a hanging screen made of bamboo or cardboard or something that you slide across to create a faux divider between where the bed is and the sitting area.
