Great. The hotel is a bit far from the beach and town, in an area that is rapidly developing, though the hotel felt a little isolated. There is some construction and roads that are not that nice to walk on, and the area is beautiful in a wild way but I didn't feel that there are efforts to preserve the natural beauty. Sitget was my first stop after an overnight flight from USA. I don't sleep well on plans, so having a chance to re-energize is very important. The Dolce is a couple minute drive outside of town. The hotel, grounds, and more so the view from the hotel were absolutely gorgeous. The room was far from the reception, pool, and public areas. It was a nice size room, but not very comfortable. Fabulous hotel for both location and service. Some way out of town but great for allowing the choice of a relaxing 5* hotel experience or days and evenings in buzzy Sitges. Stayed during Festa week which we would strongly recommend but the parade is not for the faint hearted as health and safety issues are not to the fore! Certainly needed the chilled […] atmosphere of the Dolce to recuperate. A car is recommended to take full advantage of the area. The hotel food and drink is expensive but eating out in restaurants in Sitges is a good alternative. Follow the recommendations of others and you are unlikely to be disappointed. I found the hotel very impersonal and too far off the beaten track. Also this is the second hotel i have booked with Expedia in the last couple of months and the room i had was not the one i had booked, this one was supposed to be a larger room with jacuzzi bath and large living area and i was just put in a standard double room.

Picked this hotel for a relaxing honeymoon in early July, it couldn't have been better! the hotel itself is wonderful, big rooms with lovely balcony (ours overlooking the swimming pool but you can get a sea view for a couple more bob) The facilities were great, loads of sunbathing areas, very comfy sun loungers and bean bags type beds around the pool, […] really nice touch indoor pool and jacuzzi also very good The staff at the hotel are super attentive but not in your face, really know what they are doing! The only "problem" if you can call it that with the hotel is the location, is about a 7 minute drive from the town centre so if you haven't got a car you have to budget an extra 20 Euros a day for taxis, which is what we did and we do not regret it Taxis are available from reception in a minute and easy to get from the town. The hotel has a shuttle bus but unfortunately they only take you to the beach, not to the town any more Sitges is such a wonderful town the nightlife is amazing and the tapas are to die for, just look for the little tapas bars that are buzzing with locals! you won't regret it!! great (and very cheap) cava as well all in all the best HoneyMoon I could have hoped for and more!! The Hotel was really comfortable offering excellent accomodation, restaurants and bars. There was also great areas for sunbathing and the pools were a welcome break from the heat! The staff were always helpful and accomodating, especially Concierge. The food in the restaurants was always of a high standard although Xato from Sitges was an acquired taste! […] The "all you can eat Barbeques" that took place of an evening were the best value. Ask for the House Wine which is good and cheep, strangely not on the Wine List! On the Minus side; The Hotel Services (Food, Beverages, Spa etc....) are hugely over priced and without the luxury of a nearby shop, you need to buy your essentials from the Town of Sitges which is over 2 miles away, walking not advised! Use the Shuttle Bus from the Hotel which runs from 11 am - 6 pm. Taxi's can be ordered from Concierge and caught in the town back to the Hotel for a competative fee. There are loads of places to eat and drink in Sitges Town and the Night Life is excellent although things don't really get going until 11 pm ish. In all, a great holiday and a super Hotel. Read more

Hotel was lovely, clean, modern, large big bedrooms, great outdoor swimming pool and spa area with sauna and steam room plus in door pool. Gym was good but only had one rowing machine. Als je graag het centrum bezoekt ligt het hotel vrij ver van het centrum: je moet een taxi nemen om naar het centrum te gaan. Een enkele rit kost ongeveer € 10,- Je kunt overdag gebruik maken van een gratis shuttlebus naar het strand, deze rijdt om het […] half uur. Je wordt aan het strand afgezet, als je deze bus gebruikt om naar het dorpje te gaan moet je nog 20 minuten lopen. Het ontbijtbuffet is goed, er is voldoende keuze. Je kunt binnen en buiten eten. Très jolies piscines extérieures Spa avec belle piscine également Petit déjeuner très copieux avec fruits frais et large choix Chambre propre, literie confortable mais mauvaise insonorisation car les chambres vue mer donnent sur une voie ferrée. A certaines […] heures, un train toutes les 2 minutes, c'est énervant quand on vient chercher repos et détente (le dimanche matin et mercredi matin, c'était un train-un avion-un train-un avion...). Nous pensions être épargnés par les avions à 40km de Barcelone mais non... Ce bruit est moins pénible sur les chambres vue piscine. Dommage, nous avions pris le supplément vue mer et l'avons un peu regretté à cause du bruit. Sinon, la vue est très belle. This hotel is by any doubt on my TOP 5 of hotels I have stayed in. It is for sure a 5 star hotel and the pictures on the Net is honest and it really looks like that. I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels, this I can for sure say IS a 5 star hotel. The staff at Dolce Sitges is extremely nice, from the cleaner to the bar, reception etc. EVERYBODY […] was very nice and really service minded. It is not often u experience this in Spain, but at Dolce you feel welcome, at home and u have this feeling that the staff really like their job. The pool area is super, with 4 pools to chose from, and also a small one for the small children. Sunbeds are good and comfortable, forget all about going to the beach, u will regret it, this pool area is nice. There is a nice indoor pool area as well with spa and fitness which i used every day. The breakfast is more than 40 meters of table with every kind of food u like - incredible breakfast - really really nice u will NOT leave hungry :-). When i was staying at Dolce (may 2011) workers were doing some building stuff in the hotel. It gave some noise which i told the reception. The same day they moved me to another and better room, without any ekstra charge. The work was finished the day after. They didnt have to do this, but they insisted, - that was really appreciated and again, this shows that they really care about there guest's wellbeing. The Internet is working good and i did not have any problems with it. Fast and reliable. Any negative things about this hotel - Well maybe some suggestion to the management: The menu in the restaurant is not very wide, i mean, a simple steak should be a must on a 5 star hotel, but that u can not get. The duvet i could only have as a double, i prefer a single but i could'nt get that and the pillows were to hard for my kind of taste.
