We got a 2 br condo with 2 bath for our family of five. 2 adults, 2 teens and a toddler. It was a great trip. The location is fabulous with the tram and other lift lines super close by. We made use of the ping ping table and board games available. The kitchenette was well supplied. I only wish there was a ski rack by the door.

We were upgraded to a condo unit situated right night to the Squaw Valley lift. A nice perk was having a stove and oven in our room, so we were able to cook and save on dining out for every meal. A perfect ski-in ski-out experience!

Ski-in, ski-out, spacious rooms with great amenities, helpful staff, three hot tubs, a gym, a swimming pool, and did I mention ski-in, ski-out? I've been to Squaw several times, and always stayed at the Resort at Squaw Creek. While that is a beautiful property, you're stuck on the left side of the mountain, forced to plinko yourself over to the main […] action at the beginning and end of the day. Not so at the Lodge! You're in the main artery of the charming village, and you can take the picturesque Sunnyside run straight home after a long day of skiing. Perfect for groups, or even for couples (my husband and I had a great time there alone). We will be back! (Oh, and definitely check out the little Mexican restaurant, Cornice Cantina, which is oddly located in a parking lot next to the village. Get the fish tacos -- trust me!) Read more

Great hotel... Though the rep at hotels.com misinformed me that a lift ticket to squaw would be included in the stay which was not true... A difference of $104, which would have been nice to know in advance.

Loved the location of the hotel we couldn't have asked for a better location. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The only downside to hotel is the floors are not insulated or something. We stayed on the 2nd floor and you could hear every step a person took on the upper level. The other downside was our room faced the pool and jaccuzzi which has […] a nice view of the slopes but at night you couldn't sleep til after 10pm when the pool closed because the noise from partying guests. I know I sound like a downer and we had friends experience the same problem. But if you stay on the highest floor and face away from the slopes, this is the best hotel ever! Overall the stay was quite enjoyable. I stayed in a one bedroom with 3 total people and there was enough room for our luggage and ski equipment. The room was spacious but not overdone. I enjoyed the fireplace a lot too! A couple things to note: 1. There wasn't central air in the unit, so it was a bit difficult to keep the temperature to our liking (we […] would keep the fireplace on, and it would get pretty warm but having it off made the room really cold). 2. Conditions and decor of condos vary according to owners' tastes and upkeep, but are generally quite pleasing and in good condition. Location close to lifts is excellent, easy ski in and out. Supporting facilities are fine. Staff courteous and helpful.

The Lodge is THE most convienient place to stay and ski at Squaw. Walk out the door and on to the lift. Great location and great skiing. Only negative was hearing the grooming equipment most of the night. me and my family stayed 7 days at this hotel, we had great time, its a family atmosphere. close to the slpoes, ski in ski out. i got the chance to put my 5 years old daughter in Squaw kids ski school, its very convenient. the hotel is out dated, but overall, its very nice.

Squaw Valley Lodge is a perfect family hotel. It is so convenient to skiing and the squaw village. Most if not all rooms have kitchens which keeps costs down for families as restaurants are more costly at this resort area. The larger suites have a washer and dryer. The whirlpool spas and sauna are fabulous. The gym is well equipped, but I don't understand […] who would need that after skiing all day! The location of the hotel is absolutely great, just a 2 min walk away from the Squaw Valley Lifts. The room also looks very good, including a small kitchen and a small living room. The view from the room was also superb, overlooking the Squaw Village. The housekeeping service, however, was rather mediocre. If we took Mountain Run, we could ski to our back door, take off our skis, and walk into our room. Staff was super friendly and helpful; location was excellent and loved the free shuttle to Alpine Meadows.

Perfect location, just behind the tram building. Kitchenette was great, super-quiet dishwasher. The only problem was a lack of hot water in the shower our first night. We called for maintenance and they fixed it immediately.

Nice hotel- my husband and I brought our 2 yr old and 5 month old and had a great time. There was a oktoberfest over the weekend we were there so that was fun! Lots to do in the village. We had a kitchen in our place so that was nice and saved some mula on eating out. We will go back!

Great location right at the base of the cable car/gondola. Large pools, several hot tubs,sauna and steam room. The one bedroom was of adequate size for 2 adults and small children. It's a Lodge, so it has that warm feeling to it, even though its not snow season yet. What I found beneficial was that there was a small kitchen in our room. Having that helped out a lot! Got this place late for Tough Mudder and it was a little expensive, but very worth it! Its next to the mountain and there are food places nearby so you dont have to drive far. The rooms are comfortable and sort of makes you feel at home. I will come back if I am ever in this area!
