Mountain Run at Boyne - Boyne Falls

Great convenience to Boyne Mt but the room was extremely small. Not what I expected from 1 one room condo. The kitchen area is practically un-usable if you have people sitting at the table. From what I hear the 2 bdrm units are a great size. Sounds like they needed to allocate some of its space to the one bdrm units.

My fiance and I were just taking a 1 day getaway. Boyne is about 5 hours from us, we booked the stay on Hotels.com the night before we went. When we arrived we were excited; the entire resort is beautiful. We booked a room with a fireplace, and a jacuzzi in the room. The listing said all rooms come with this. I wanted to be sure, so I triple checked […] with the agent from Hotels.com. He was very persistant that we were going to get a room with those ammenities. However when we checked in the room was not as described. It had a fireplace but just a tiny bathroom with just a shower! Well, after about an hour on the phone it was straighted out and we were moved to the room we paid for a beautiful 2 bedroom suite with a jacuzzi tub ;-) Mountain Run was unable to help me at first. They claimed the first room was the room we paid for and to take it up with Hotels.com so I did. Hotels.com was incredibly helpful and after a little while on the phone they said I was correct and they would do everything possible to get us what we had paid for. Luckily, like I said Mountain Run had a room available. Hotels.com even stated if they couldn't get us a room upgrade (like we paid for in the first place) that they would move us to the resort next door free of charge! Which is a nicer and more expensive hotel. Luckily it all worked out great and we had an amazing 1 day mini-vaca. Hotels.com was great in helping us figure it out. I would book with them again. This was my second stay at Mountain Run, and I just love it there. So convenient to be right next to the slopes. Love the in-unit kitchen and clubhouse. Will definitely stay here again.

I would not advise you to book at this hotel. When we arrived they told us that they needed payment, although we had a receipt from Hotels.com that our reservation was prepaid. After 30 minutes they were finally able to continue our check -in. I was very pleased with Boyne Mountain run. It was very clean and comfortable. It was right down the road from the water park and you could see the beautiful snow on the mountains. We were able to cook on available grills on the grounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not stay long enough to enjoy all of the activities that they had […] available for the kids.
