"Pamper yourself"

Great getaway for a romantic retreat. The rooms, though not too large, are beautifully decorated and comfortable. the restaurant is way overpriced for what is served. Overall a great hotel to pamper yourself and your loved one to a great romantic getaway. Don't miss out on the cliff walk for a great view of the ocean and the mansions.

The Chanler is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I went for our anniversary and staying at this hotel made it very special. The one issue is that it's not within walking distance of town but at any time you can call the front desk and they will drive you downtown and pick you up when you are done. Overall, this was a great choice.

The rooms at the Chanler are beautiful, but be forewarned, they are on the smaller side. Our room backed up onto the kitchen so was loud. The staff happily moved us to an up-graded room. The food was excellent, though again, pricey.

The staff was amazingly nice and the location was unbeatable! The best of both worlds merging the professionalism of a hotel chain and the coziness of a bed and breakfast. Definately the most romantic hotel I've ever been to.
