My 3rd time to stay here - the hotel is conveniently located just across from the train station and a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the town square. Rooms are with modern furnishings and very clean. Internet speed (complimentary wireless) was fast and reliable. The breakfast buffet here is also excellent, though I find the restaurant is a little overpriced in relation to other dining options in town. This hotel remains my first choice for when I need to stay in Kortrijk.

A wonderful stay in a perfect central location to Ypres. The B&B was a lovely place to call home for the night. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Lekker Full English breakfast in the morning and Nelson the Cat was a fun addition!! Out of 1-5, I give Cavell's an 11.

Kortrijk Belgium is a city with tiny streets and half of them are one way! My GPS stopped working because of the tight quarters in the city and when it did it kept telling me to go down one way streets. The sign in front of the hotel is hidden by a tree and the parking is not clearly marked and is around to the back of the hotel in the alley across from the back of the police station.So the hotel is very nice but you really need to know how to get to the parking before you get to Kortrijk. I would stay there again....now that I know where it is!

This hotel felt much more American/Canadian than any other hotels we stayed in during our touring. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable... - in fact, we had extra pillows and blankets, which we loved having. The room was also equipped with a kettle and plenty of coffee/tea/sugar/creamers which were replenished every day. Right near the highway, it's easy to get in and out of. It's also near a shopping centre with grocery stores, which was handy. The downsides were that the WiFi was extremely slow and connectivity was poor, no matter where in the hotel we wandered trying to make a decent connection. There was also no high-speed wired internet in public places, as was advertised. There were only two power outlets in the entire room, and one of those was in the bathroom. This made using our computer and any other gadgets awkward, as one person had to go to the bathroom to use the power outlet there. by Julie from Canada on 07/13/12

Accueil très sympathique, aimable et disponible. Chambre calme mais propreté moyenne (moquette) et robinetterie cassée. Bouilloire sale (calcaire) qui n'a pas été remplacée mais possibilité de demander un Thermos d'eau chaude à la place.

Médiocre. Dans la première chambre qui nous a été réservée, la chasse d'eau ne fonctionnait pas. A 23h du soir, ils nous ont changé de chambre. Le lendemain, après midi, lorsque nous sommes retournés dans la chambre, la chambre n'était pas faite (les lits, les serviettes, dans l'état où nous avions laissées). Das Hotel war so gelegen, dass man von dort aus viele Touren unternehmen konnte. Schade, dass das Restaurant seit dem 27.07. bis zum 19.08. geschlossen hatte; allerdings wäre die Menüauswahl dürftig gewesen. Für uns hatte das den Vorteil, dass wir ein Delikatessengeschäft mit einem netten Franzosen als Inhaber gefunden hatten, wo wir mit unseren Leckereien […] später immer auf der Terrasse des Restaurants gegessen haben. Accueil et service corrects, mais l'hotel mériterait d'être un peu rénové, notamment la salle de bain où nous avons constaté des traces de moisissures. Un vêtement avait été oublié sous un couvre-lit !!!

tres bon accueil malgre l'heure d'arrive tardive (1h du matin apres plusieurs heures passees aux urgences d'un hopital). La chambre était propre et nous avons apprecie la bouilloire pour une boisson chaude. Le matin nous avons pris un petit dejeuner copieux. Je recommande cet hotel

l'hotel se situe près d'un granc dentre commercial où on peut faire facilement son shopping après le travail. L'accueil de l'hotel est très agréable et le restaurant sert de très bon petits plats

Deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel pas très concluant... selon les chambre apparemment il y a des gros écarts d'espace, de propreté et d'état ... cette fois la cuvette ne tiens pas, idem pour le robinet ... et chambre plus bruillante ... tout simplement dommage

Wir Wahren sehr zufrieden, Zimmer sind kompakt und Praktisch eingerichtet. Bad sehr schön, könnte aber etwas größer sein, hat aber seinen Zweck vollkommen erfüllt. Einzigstes Manko war die Luft im Zimmer, vermutlich ehemalige raucherzimmer. Das Hotel ist aktuell komplett nichtraucher. Aber abhilfe schuf da kurzes Stoßlüften und Fenster nachts nicht […] ganz Schließen dass frischluft nachkommt. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden, Service 1a, Reception sogar teils Deutschsprachig. (laut internet nur Englisch und Französisch) Personal sehr freundlich Zimmerservice auch super, immer ordentlich und Sauber. Kann das hotel ansich ohne schlechtes gewissen weiterempfehlen. Read more

Hotel selectionné avec critères parking + restaurant : à notre arrivée nous apprenons que le restaurant est fermé le vendredi soir , samedi et dimanche alors que non mentionné sur le site de l'hotel. Nous avons du aller à pied dans une zone commerciale pour le repas du soir.... Nous avions opté pour le repas à l'hotel car remorque attelée à la voiture […] ne pouvant restée seule sans surveillance + pour repos après trajet fatiguant. Quelle déception à l'arrivée...
