"girls get-away/shopping trip"
My friend and I stayed at this hotel in early December. Every staff member we came in contact with was polite, friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to an ocean front room at check in, a nice surprise! The hotel was very clean and comfortable, decorated beautifully. We had a late dinner in the bar our first night, the crab dip was amazing! The location […] is great, on the beach and close to outlet shopping. I plan to stay there again! Service, comfort, food ,space . Everything was wonderful.we were traveling with a family and I was a bit concerned that this might be a little pretentious, or too quite for our family ,however it was PERFECT! The resutrant has the most amazing breakfast you eat on real china which my children loved. The birds in ther lobby were entertaining. Along with all of the antiques.
"I highly recommend this hotel"

My wife and I came to Rehoboth Beach for a place to go for a mini-honeymoon before our honeymoon cruise in May. We had booked to stay at another resort down the street, and that resort was just like living under a tank in Iraq. So I went down the street to the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel an booked a room for the rest of our stay in Rehoboth. I wish we would have found out about this place sooner. We had a room on the 4th floor concierge level our stay was awesome, plus parking was free. The hotels location on the boardwalk with great access to the beach. All of the staff that we had contact with was superb I highly recommend this hotel. This was my 1st visit and we will be back

My friend and I arrived in Rehoboth to take part in an "Eat Rehoboth" event. [We highly recommend THAT activity!] We arrived early, and the concierge obligingly found two rooms ready (so we had a choice), allowed us to register and take advantage of their off-street parking garage, and had a lovely young man escort us to our room. Along the way he provided us with the most detailed description of the hotel's very many amenities. The room we chose was a ocean side-view queen suite. The rooms (bedroom, bath, and sitting room) were nicely appointed with antique-styled furnishings. Everything was sparkling clean and in fine order. My friend did have one small hiccup with the Keurig in-room coffee maker, but by being willing to stand and hold the lid down, she managed to brew her morning joe. We enjoyed sitting and sipping on the balcony overlooking the Olive Street gazebo and the rolling Atlantic. We did also enjoy a room service order of Scallops Carbonara the previous evening, which was fresh, succulent and gently bathed in a lovely sauce. While it was just a flying visit (an over night) we were royally treated and very much enjoyed our brief stay.
"Much improved in the last year!"

Wow - were we surprised. First of all the hotel WIFI not only worked but was excellent, enough bandwidth to stream with no trouble at all. Our room on the concierge level had 2 queen beds, excellent comfortable mattress and even a real modern flat screen television. There is the relatively new concierge service which will make all sorts of reservations, even get you a bicycle - which is fun to use in small, flat Rehobeth Beach. Breakfast was decent and priced reasonably. Why the french toast was downright tasty! Unfortunately it rained one day and the ocean water was too cold to swim, but the hot tub on the roof was great and I moved right in! This was a nice experience and the improvements are welcome. We have been coming for almost 20 years and will be back!
"Staying at the beach doesn't have to mean subpar accommodations!"

This is our favorite hotel in Rehobeth, hands down. We tried many others before finding this hotel and now this is the only place we will stay. It's right on the beach so the location couldn't be better. The rooms are really nicely decorated, and everything seems clean and well-kept up. There is a heated pool that allows you to also access an outdoor portion. After 8 PM, the pool is adults only. Ask them to turn on the air jets and it turns into a fun escape for grown-ups. We've never had anything but service with a smile and everyone is exceptionally friendly. The birds in the lobby are a nice fun touch. There is a restaurant on the premises, but honestly, we didn't love the food. We will definitely be back, but maybe in the off-season when the prices come down a bit.
"Vacation Trip to Rehoboth Beach"
My wife and I went to Rehoboth Beach after visiting relatives in Leesburg, VA. We selected the Boardwalk Plaza hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The victorian theme throughout the hotel added to the ambiance. We found the room, staff and service to be exceptional. We can honestly say the mattress was the best we have ever slept on. Victoria's restaurant was excellent. My wife especially enjoyed the outdoor swing overlooking the ocean and boardwalk. We hated to leave for our trip back to Michigan, but we will be returning!!
"Beautiful and relaxing with excellent service"

Recently my wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a one night stay at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel and found we had made the right choice. The service, room, and hotel were beyond our high expectations. The hotel is a victorian themed hotel that pulls off the look and feel of that era without sacrificing the fresh, clean, and modern amenities of a top notch hotel. The location could not be better, situated directly on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk within steps of the beautiful beach. There is a restaurant that serves all three meals with seating inside glass windows providing a view of the beach and boardwalk or outside on the boardwalk itself. The hotel prices are high (not bad at all though during the off season) but worth it for a special occasion or to break the cycle of the typical, cheap, bare bones beach hotels (and there is nothing wrong with a bare bones beach hotel). Our room was an ocean front suite on the 3rd floor. It was clean, updated and very spacious with a bedroom, sink area and sitting room that opened up onto a small balcony overtop the boardwalk with unbelievable views of the beach and boardwalk below. The amenities were typical of a higher end hotel with two flat screen televisions, a decently stocked mini bar (with reasonable prices), a kuerig coffee machine, microwave, desk, and free wifi. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, we did order room service for dinner (both come from the same kitchen) and had mixed feelings, one dish was excellent while the other was too salty and over cooked. The prices were relatively high (90 dollars for the two of us) and I would only recommend the room service for convenience sake, there are amazing restaurants surrounding the hotel with better food and better prices. I could go on, for time sake I will cut it short and say that we were very pleased and plan on more stays at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful place.
"Wow what a wonderful hotel!"

Your every need is anticipated! Beach towels are available. Toys for the beach are available if they were forgotten. Victoria's restaurant was excellent. Wait staff are cheerful, helpful and very accommodating. Parking is in the garage making it easy to leave and come back without pause. Whenever I think about our stay, I get a dreamy wishful feeling that I was back at the Boardwalk Plaza. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was wonderful!
"Labor Day WINNER!!!!!"

Spent the holiday weekend in Rehoboth with my family and this is hotel is perfection!! My eldest son (27) has small children and the convenience to the beach, being on the boardwalk, and parking - WoW! My younger son (22) stayed on the fourth floor with us and being concierge level - no kids. Perfect for both!!!!! Plus private access to the roof with the hot tub and quiet space made for two perfect vacations in one. Sunday brunch is a MUST, great selection and food quality. This hotel knows how to make things perfect from the minute you arrive until they wish you a speedy return. GO GO GO and STAY STAY STAY!!!!
"Best on the boardwalk"

The Boardwalks room are comfortable and spacious. The employees are friendly and helpful. Being right on the boardwalk, overlooking the beach it is convenient for families, and if your interested in not hearing children run halls they have reserved they're top floor for adults only.
