Staying at Howard Johnson Flagstaff AZ was ok. The room was an alright size. I got a great deal on the price when you book about a month early. The one thing that the website states was a king size bed when we got there it was about a full size bed so I thought that was funny. It was clean when we got there. The one thing I really like about this stay was the heat light in the restroom because when you shower either in the morning or night the floor and the restroom wouldn't be cold plus the mirror didn't fog up. If I had another trip there in Flagstaff I would stay there again just for that.

The best part of this hotel are the views--all the rooms face the red cliffs and have a small balcony with a table and chairs. We were right in the center of town for an easy walk to everything yet had the view and a quiet room. Orchards Inn Sedona was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of uptown Sedona, reasonably priced and friendly staff. The hotel was in a perfect location for Sedona. We just parked the car and walked everywhere. When we checked in, they had upgraded us to a suite. We had beautiful views. Great location, took 3 couples there and we absolutely LOVED the place. We could walk around uptown and if someone got tired they could easily walk back to the room. The Orchards Inn of Sedona is located in a convenient location and provides a great view from your room. The staff member I encountered at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and conveniently included a mini fridge and a microwave. I enjoyed the fireplace and appreciated that there was a sitting area with a couch as well. […] The only complaints I have are that the bedsheets didn't appear clean, the sink near the fridge and microwave was clogged/slow. Additionally, the walls and floors were very thin; we could hear our neighbors and practically had to tiptoe around to not sound as if we were galloping around our room.
