"close to public transportation"
professional, courteous staff, great buffet breakfast, garbage in bathroom was not taken out before our arrival and condition of supplies in kitchen cabinets was not very tidyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very kind personnel. Perfect rooms. Would return any time. Only drawback is the distance to the BTS although they offer a free shuttle service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent for business but not for tourism. A bit too far from tourist attractions due to traffic conditions time consuming trying to get around. But enjoyed our stay at the Conrad.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic hotel and wonderful service"
My wife, son and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in Jan/Feb. We have stayed at many hotels in Bangkok before and decided we would stay in an apartment in the hotel for a change We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, the rooms were very spacious and clean. There was a comfortable living area with armchairs and a dining table, the kitchen […] although small was very well equipped with cooker, microwave and toaster etc, the bathroom was fabulous with a lovely big shower area. We had full access to the swimming pool and gymnasium. The breakfast was amazing with a huge choice of Western and Asian food to choose from. There's a lovely shopping mall adjoining the Conrad which has a Tops supermarket where you can buy all your food. There is also a free regular shuttle bus which takes you to Pleonchit skytrain station. I want to thank all the staff in the breakfast room and by the pool, also the wonderful receptionists who made us feel so welcome., thank you all. I could go on, there is so much about this hotel we loved and I would highly recommend it to families with small children. Thank you Hotels.com for making this possible.
"Best value in town!"
06/17/14 Robert B Malmö, Skåne Län, Sweden
I researched almost all of Bangkok to find a place to live. Almost every place that I researched costed quite a lot of money, excluding utility, cable t.v. and taxes etc. The Residence is located about a 7 minute walk from the sky train. If you don't want to walk the 7 minutes, don't worry, the Conrad has a shuttle bus that takes you there every 30 minutes. There is also a small shopping center connected to the property. There you'll find just about every type of cuisine you need to live a happy and healthy life. The gym here is one of the best gyms in town, it's got everything. Want to swim, no problem, great pool! Want to play tennis, no worries, got that covered too! If you are looking for long stay, a month or more, there is no question about it, call the sales and marketing department at the Conrad Residence and you'll see what I mean. You won't be disappointed!
"very good but expensive"

I never stay anywhere else but the Conrad during my frequent visits to Bangkok over the past ten years. For the first time I tried a one room suite at the Residences for 4 nights. The standard was excellent as I always expect but given the downturn in hotel business in Bangkok I was surprise by the price. Not a problem for me as my company is paying but I don't like to see them ripped off. I was surprised and slightly annoyed that my rate of over 8,000 TBHT did not include breakfast, internet or Club access. Perhaps they don't see market realities or perhaps no Bangkok hotel in the 5 star hotel range wants to start a price war, so prices seem as high as ever. On my return visit I took just a standard room but bargained to get Club access and all those extras. Apart from that as I say, the usual impeccable service.

"Suitable for longstayer"

Stayed there for 5 nights and found the place quite cosy. I paid extra charges for an upgrade to a suite since i need more spaces and it was the right decision. The suite came with seperate kitchen and living room. The bed is very comfy and the bathroom has a good size. The residence is not that luxury as the hotel but you can can use all facilities at the hotel such as the pool and so on. The pool staff was good and the pool area was huge. There are plenty of sunbeds and shades. I tried the Dimsum Buffet at their chinese restaurant, it was ok but memorable. There is a shuttle bus which take you to Ploenchit BTS Station leave in front of the main hotel. What i don't like is that the entrance door is not isolated. You will hear noises, door banging coming from the corridor if you are sitting in the living room. Otherwise i did enjoy my stay at the Conrad Residences.
"Roomy and comfortable"

I booked a one bedroom suite for my in-laws who were traveling with us. They stayed in the Residences side and we stayed in the main Conrad hotel. They really liked the room they were in. The room had a full living room, small kitchen, and a full bedroom and bathroom. We spent a little time in their room as well. It certainly didn't have the luxury touches that the main Conrad has but for the price it certainly was a good value. This would likely be good for families as well. Still have access to the pool, fitness center, spa, and various other features. Service on the Residences side was very good as well. I'd be happy to visit here again and recommend for others.
"Ok but a bit tired"

I stayed here for a conference and was very happy with the hotel. The residences were a bit tired but the overall hotel was good. Service from staff was great, particularly good checkout experience with the concierge helping me cancel the expensive car I had booked to offer a better alternative. Spa was very good and i had an amazing massage with a therapist who had worked there for over 10 years. Biggest complaint was that breakfast tea was appalling LOL! It was like slightly dirty brown water and tasted like it too! That said the waitress then bought me a pot of double strength when I mentioned it. Tea was still appalling but the thought was nice:)
"SPACIOUS AND COMFY"

My wife claims to have had her best night's sleep ever in a hotel. Rooms were spacious and well appointed and my 17 year old was delighted to have her own room away from the parents. Staff are all highly professional and security is very good. I had just returned from rougher areas in Laos and Cambodia and room felt like heaven. We entertained guests from Bangkok at the Chinese Restaurant in the hotel and while I was impressed by the cuisine they were not impressed with the value as a meal for five cost the same as a suite for the night. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family of 5 stayed at Conrad Bangkok (Residences) for 8 nights in September, in a 2 bed apartment. Great service from ALL staff, reception, restaurant, poolside and gym. Buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious and staff here were very friendly and efficient too. Conrad complex is conveniently connected to a small shopping mall with supermarket, a variety of restaurants, pharmacy, boutiques and gift stores. Housekeeping re-stocked fridge with bottled water daily!! Free shuttle operates between hotel and Ploenchit Skytrain stop but one can also reach it in a easy 5-10 min walk. Two stops in either direction from Ploenchit to retail therapy at Siam Paragon, Central or the quirky Terminal 21 at Asok. The only negative - beware when booking sightseeing tours through the hotel concierge - make sure to obtain a written quote for your tour because the owner of the tour company tried to increase the price of our tour when he arrived with our guide.
"A nice home away from home"
07/25/13 Orlando I Miami, Florida
After three months at the Conrad Bangkok I can almost call it my home away from home. Unfortunately I probably don't take full advantage of everything it offers but at least I know it's there if I need it. They do have a great pool with a beautiful surroundings and great service. It's like a little oasis in the middle of the city. The gym is great and they offer yoga, abdominals, and aerobics classes daily as well as all the equipment provided. I can't say much about their restaurants because even though I'd get a discount for being a resident, it's still way higher than it'd be just around the corner. On rainy days, it's good to have a small mall a door a way. Not only are there several clothing stores but also a good amount and variety of restaurants and a small supermarket with all the basics. The hotel is on Wireless Road which also happened to be where many of the embassys are found. Interesting that we are pretty surrounded by the American Embassy, with the US Ambassador living right across the street from us, his (or her) other neighbor is the People's Republic of Vietnam ambassador that lives just besides the Conrad. I'd love to be invited to an evening neighborhood dinner but no invitations have shown in my inbox yet. The hotel offers a free bus shuttle to the Ploenchit BTS station. Some times I wait for the shuttle (every 15' weekdays or every 30' weekends), but it's just as easy to walk a few blocks to the BTS. Once on the BTS you're one or two stops away from major shopping areas. To the West you can find the MBK and all the other Mega Malls, to the east, you get to the more ethnic enclaves of Nana and Asok where you'll find Indian and Middle Eastern communities and restaurants. But if quiet is what you're looking for, walking South from the hotel you'll find Lumpini Park which is quite the opposite of the many mega malls of the city.
"Pricey, but you get what you pay for!"

Stayed here for 6 nights whilst on a conference. Superb conference facilities and friendly staff made the time here very enjoyable. On the negative side is the lifts - too few especially when conference attendees have the same motivations if you get my drift! Food in the hotel is great, much variety and enough. Well worth staying here.
