This is a wonderful hotel. But they don't warn you how difficult it is to find if you are coming by car. It's best to call first. They do have parking, however, which is a real convenience in the downtown area of Aahus. Highly recommended.

We never saw a hotel worker. Our check in key was attached to the door when we arrived. The rooms were very clean and simple. We loved the family room... three beds attached to a wall. The carpet was rough - but fine with shoes. The breakfast (not included in price) was average and VERY expensive. We thought it was funny that we never saw a worker... but it was just fine for us. We liked that we all fit in one room. And the beds, pillows & blankets were VERY comfortable. We would stay here again. It is fine for sleeping... you just would not want to be stuck inside for the whole day.

This double had two beds lengthwise built in against a wall with a wood panel between them, essentially meaning that you lay in a three sided box. Fine I'm sure if you're not very tall, but I am meaning I couldn't stretch out at all. The furnishings and fittings of the room were all 20-30 years old, and while clean and serviceable this place needs to […] be updated. The location is well outside of the center, but there are loads of buses to get you where you want to without any hassle at all, and I even walked a couple of times. There are fast food restaurants and supermarkets closeby, but no decent sit-down places. The breakfast was good, though not a lot of fresh fruit, there was good sausages, bacon, and eggs along with cereals, breads, and a pastry. Not extravagant, but still good. The staff was friendly and helpful. When I wanted to print my boarding pass they invited me back into the office to use their computer. They helped me find something by searching on the internet. The free wireless requires registration, but not a big deal. Not a great connection, but fast enough for many things. Given a choice I'd probably choose somewhere else next time, but because everything else was full I would say it's worth it. If they updated the hotel and still charged about the same I would recommend it. Read more

On a junction and ideal for the main roads for all the journeys made, not a lot of choices for breakfast in terms of cereal or the hot stuff and a staff that would NOT let you go beyond 10 a.m. Reception was considerate and helpful BUT the hotel room was a disgrace, NO kettle or amenities to have a drink of Tea/Coffee in your room thus making you spend […] again once inside the hotel, the bathroom was primitive and the worst part was the heavily stained carpet which didn't lend itself to walking about in your bare feet which is what you wish to do in a hotel room when relaxing. could not, would not and will not recommend this Hotel to anyone, it didn't represent value for money and over five days it became a burden to be in there when wanting to work on computer as I was. Fikk et stort rom for 2. Hotellet er noe slitt, men det var rent der. Frokostbufeen smakte fortreffelig. De ansatte var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Hotellet ligger noen km fra sentrum, men det går busser hvert 10, minutt. Ellers ikke spesielt mye støy selv om hotellet har beliggenhet rett ved et stort veikryss. Gratis parkering var veldig bra.

The reception, restaurant and breakfast are very good. The parking facilities are very good with a large, free and safe parking in the basement wich is locked during the night. The staff in the reception is extremely helpful, friendly and smiling. and the lobby area is comfortable, nice and clean. The rooms are clean and bath/toilet facilities also […] clean. However the two bunks along the walls together with the slightly shabby look pulls the evaluation down. The hotel is out-of-city, but located in connection with a shopping center and a number of shops and restaurants in the area. Read more
