WE THOUGHT OUR WEEKEND AT THE CARIBBEAN WAS GREAT. THE ROOM WAS PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS . GREAT LOCATION AND EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND KEPT.

We were booked into a room even though the clerk knew that power would be turned off for two hours the following morning. When the power was turned off, management was very apologetic and upgraded us to a better room. However, one of the commodes did not work, so we had to call maintenance. None of the rooms had material for coffee-making.

It was very peaceful and calm staying there. The view of the ocean was beautiful. Especially with the sunrise and set. I will go back anytime.

The hotel looks nice and is updated. The facilities are pretty well kept and I would consider returning. The beds leave a lot to be desired and remind of the sort of free mattress you get with free bunk beds. The mattresses were awful in my opinion. The hotel also has a an unusual policy of collecting a literal $100 deposit on the room that they then […] have a supervisor inspect the room before returning the deposit. I have stayed at many hotels in many places and I have never left a literal room deposit for any of them anywhere. Every modern day hotel chain simply keeps a credit card on file with your reservation for incidentals and damages. I am not sure what someone would damage in a hotel room that would only be worth $100 but I guess they have it all figured out. I just found it antiquated and inconvenient. Read more

First time at Myrtle Beach and would def come back. The hotel was great, location was great, and weather was, well.....great. and especially for the price you cant beat it

This hotel is worth the money and is conveniently located to most everything a family would want to do. My only concern would be that the walls are fairly thin. Other than that the hotel is very clean and the staff are willing to assist in any way they can.

I have never been ask for a security deposit on a hotel room until now.

I got in at 2 PM. I unloaded my car (luggage and kids) and tried to check in. The hotel receptionist asked me to come back at 3 PM and check in. They made me load all my stuff back into the car and wait another hour to check in. I asked them if they can give me the room one hour earlier. It was Friday afternoon and kids were tired from the long drive. […] I was really annoyed. I come to Myrtle beach 3 times a year and none of the other Hotels treated me in this matter. When I got back at 3 PM, I had to wait in line for awhile to check in. I will definitely not consider this hotel again. Read more

courteous staff, clean rooms,excellent restaurant, golf director did a great job at getting golf tee times at good prices for my wife and myself, reasonably priced rooms

This was an ideal location and price, however, the room smelled very musty, like it had mold in the carpet or air conditioning units. It was a condo, so had a lot of room and full kitchen, but the smell was awful. I am allergic to mold, so this was not a good fit for me. Once inside you got used to the smell, but it was very bad each time coming back. […] Perhaps the newer building is better or even the upper floors, but I would not recommend the first floor. WOW! The intire staff was great from check in,cleaningservice and even pool cleaners.The beds were so comfortable we had a goodnights rest. We're going back in November. Try it, I bet you'll love it too.

Stayed in one of the "privately owned" condos across the street from the hotel. Not very well maintained. Had very sub standard supplies. Will not stay in the condos again.

We really enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be clean. Employees were constantly around and working. Our only 2 complaints would be the shower had low pressure and spread the water so much that you did not feel it rinsed well and the shower did not work at the pool when existing the beach and returning to the pool area. They had roaches, the TV didn't work and it need it to be up graded, I was not aware that I was going to end up staying on a different building called Jamaica motor in. When I fist got there they could not find my info in the computer, very small room.

We loved the hotel. I was a surprise for a 40th birthday. Three generations stayed in one of the 3 bedroom suites in the Cayman Tower. It was great. We will probably stay at this hotel again.

Arrived to a dirty room, that took house cleaning alose to an hour to clean, Checked in, approximately 2 hours after arrival. There was no iron or ironing board in room, and I had to return two non working keys.

I have been staying at this resort for the past few years when I go to myrtle beach. I love it and it's always a great experience. Stay here and maybe I'll see you there one year ;)

We stayed in the 4 bedroom condo on the 19th floor. Wonderful views, well stocked kitchen. Also,the Sea Captain restaurant next door was excellent for lunch. Walking distance to Dunkin' Donuts and some Calabash buffet restaurants. Pools and slides were great for the kids. Plenty of beach chairs and towels available for use. I wish it was a little closer to downtown but overall it was a great experience. The staff and other guest was extremely nice. I would stay again because the room was extremely spacious!!!

The room was not clean. The carpet was wet. The light fixtures were falling from the ceiling. The internet access was non-existant for the first 24 hours. The housekeeper did not replace towels. The ice machine did not work. The room was vacuumed once in 4 days. The hotel could not provide a receipt upon check-out when requested. We stayed in the Chelsea House condos for the weekend, and were very happy with the location for the price paid. The condo furnishings were a bit dated, but that is expected in this price range. The large decks on the unit were very nice, and the grounds were well kept.

My family and I were very pleased with the Caribbean Resort & Villas. We stayed in the Dominican Tower on the 10th floor and had a well kept comfortable room. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for our short vacation. The beds were clean and comfortable, our only complaint was that the air conditioner blows right onto the bed and there is no […] way to adjust the direction of the air. We had a great view of the ocean and the pool below. The balcony was just right to sit on and watch the sunrise. The staff were helpful and curteous. This was a perfect place for a family to stay. Our 3 and 4 year old loved the kiddie pools and the teenager liked the larger pools. We were pleased that this place didn't seem like a party place and the night life was relatively quiet. Just got back from Caribbean Resort and it was awesome. It was a great location. On the strip and plenty of parking. Pools are clean. It was just a very pleasant stay.

We stayed for only two nights. The hotel was very nice. The staff were nice and helpful, the room was nice. We stayed in an oceanfront room with a King Size bed. Beautiful view! We also had a full kitchen, that we did not use but it would have been useful if we stayed longer. The only complaint I have for the total experience at this resort is the bedspread […] on the bed. I had to change rooms 3 times and I was only there for 2 nights. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone simply because to have to change rooms because of security, maintenance and cleaniness is unacceptable.

This hotel was great for my family and was right on the beach and close to everything we wanted to do. We stayed in the Dominican Tower with an ocean view and full kitchen which was quite nice. However the Dominican hallways are technically outside and open to the outdoors which makes all other hotel guests forget about anyone else and turn into loud, […] inconsiderate neighbors at all hours. Since this was the only negative I would still recommend to any family. The pools, hot tubs, and lazy rivers were all awesome. Also don't leave without trying the Sea Captains restaurant next door. Property and room The hotel itself is in a great location. The room was ocean front, clean and well designed. Our room was in the Dominican Building. Entry from outer corridor lead to the bedroom. Bed was a bit firm, but not that bad. It had a nice TV. However, the back of our bedroom picked up the noise from the elevator operation. That would be my […] only real complaint. The hallway lead through a Galley Style kitchen and past the bathroom. Bathroom was adequate and had an excellent, easy walk in shower. The next area was a sitting room with a nice flat screen TV. The small couch wasn't much, but we did not spend a lot of time at the TV. We did make use of the fold down bed in the wall. Turned out to be our best sleep. The balcony was small, .but had two chairs and a nice view of the beach, hot tub and outdoor pool area. Locaction. Location was perfect for us. We like to walk and walk we did. A 15 minute walk and we were at Broadway at the Beach, you could drive it in three to four minutes. That night, we walked 5 minutes to a Calabash Restaurant. It was very good. The next morning, we walked 5 minutes to the Omega. Best breakfast in town, if you ask me. Later, we walked 9 blocks south to 21st St. and found three good eating/ drinking establishments. We really liked the Burgers, Beer and free peanuts at River City. Next door was SOHO for excellent Sushi and a wonderful young lady tending bar. Read more

I was very impressed with the size, cleanliness and amenities of this hotel! Only issue was the gentlemen who checked in before me got the complete run down of the facilities, area hotspots, etc, whilst the clerk just handed me the key and pointed me to the elevator location.
