"Very quiet/ laid back"
Loved it. Mostly 40 somethings and older. Few younger ones. Staff is great. All inclusive is the way to go. We bought into the time share @ Sunset Beach. Just got back on 1/21, ready to go back Now but rather more active atmosphere at Sunset. Be very careful of timeshare people at airport And hotel. Do NOT talk to anyone inside of airport beside the […] Uniformed workers. Do NOT give anyone money to sign up. Not a penny. They are really good at offering you deals. Tell them you are there for a wedding and they'll leave you alone. YOU call the shots if you are interested AND wait till you get to the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Stayed January 2014"
We had a great experience overall and commented to each other about the courteous and attentive staff (especially Marco, the bell captain, who was exceptionally helpful and engaging) as well as the hotel grounds. It's best to make reservations for dinner at Siempre & Pescado to ensure there's space when you want to dine there in the evening. The suites […] are very nice and we were able to see whales from our balcony. We found the shuttle system to work well and spent time downtown, but the Pacifica and Sunset beach are far better properties than the Rose. We booked a buggy tour at Xtreme Adventures at the concierge desk, which was great, and we also went deep sea fishing and recommend both. Armondo at the front desk was also very helpful, but Marco remains our favorite...please tip him well so he's still there when we visit again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

This hotels was beautiful and very nice. This is the place to be if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing get-away with your spouse. The food was amazing and the staff was great! We also loved how secluded we were!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful Resort for R&R"
My fiancé and I were staying at Pacifica as a possible contender for our wedding. We looked at 9 properties all together and although Pacifica is gorgeous, has fantastic food (especially for an AI) and is so secluded it made it hard for us to see our lively group of friends and family staying there. We had amazing service and plenty of fun there on […] our own. When they say holistic they really do mean it. There is literally the sound of running water all over the property. So if you are looking to relax this is your spot! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Very beautiful, huge and elegant."
The whole place was meant to be pleasing to the eye, but was not always practical. For ex., the lighting in the bedroom was so dim, it was impossible to read. The food was just fair to good. But the spa was excellent. Overall, a beautiful place to relax and vacation.Genuine Expedia guest review
We arrived at our hotel and were immediately greeted with hot towels and Hibiscus tea. We were swept up to our amazing room with the most beautiful view of the ocean and resort. Our whole stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica was perfect. Thank you to the wonderful staff that helped make our vacation memorable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great facilities, ok food."
Rooms were excellent. They upgraded us from an ocean view to ocean front, which was great. Beds were very comfortable. Pools were nice, but not enough lounge chairs...needed to secure by 8am. Biggest issue was food was just ok and drinks also. But this is what I expect for an all- inclusive.Genuine Expedia guest review
Expensive for what you get. Food and drinks were fair. I thought it was going to be a higher end hotel/resort. Bell staff and restaurant wait staff were very friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful hotel but there was no beach and we got gastrointestinal problems probably from one of the buffet meals. We took 2 day excursions, the deluxe city tour and the outback and camel ride. Both had lunches. Our illness could have come from either lunch. The hotel was beautiful. The pools were nice but not for swimming laps. I would recommend this […] hotel for adults who wish a quiet vacation unless you travel outside the resort where there is lots to do. One of the nice things about Cabo is lots to do such as fishing, gambling, biking, swimming eating, drinking, fine dining dancing, etc. The all inclusive meals including alcoholic beverages was a plus. "Great! But possibly slipping..."
The last time I reviewed the Pacifica, I gave it a 5, and I was tempted to do so again here. We have stayed at the Pacifica 3 times now. In general, we love it. It is quiet and beautiful. It is close enough to town that you can go in when you want (taking the tram to one of the hotels in town or by taxi), but far enough away from all the annoying vendors […] and sales people. "A favorite getaway"
We have stayed at Pueblo Bonita Pacifica twice now and have loved it. It is beautiful, modern and tasteful (we are not big fans of the overdone castle-like atmostphere at many of the cabo hotels.) The staff is very attentive and we LOVE the all-inclusive part-- it makes indulging guilt-free-- whatever your heart's desire-- just go for it-- it is paid […] for. We have really enjoyed the care-free nature of that arrangement. No checking every price or converting pesos. The rooms are ample size, with king beds and ocean views. It is generally quiet with adult fun. We have 3 kids, but this place is a nice adult getaway from the chaos! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Serenity in Cabo"
Wonderful property if you want to be alone. Some communication gaps between housekeeping and the minibar, but easily solved by calling front desk. Very warm and helpful staff. Spend a couple of days then move up to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Although the facilities are nice, there were several disappointing aspects to my one week stay. First, the staff was highly inconsistent - some were very friendly and attentive while others were not only unattentive but at times were rude and unprofessional. This is my biggest issue with my stay. Second, the food is mediocre and not what I expected […] given all the reviews I read before I booked my reservation. I have stayed at 7-8 other resorts in Cabo and this resort was definitely at the lower end of the spectrum. Third, and these are somewhat smaller issues, the TV didn't work for various patches during the day/night and there was a dead cockroach on my carpet when I first walked into my room. Overall, very disappointing and I would not stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful quiet vacation"
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is beautiful. The grounds are well kept and clean. Rooms are very basic, beds are very firm and uncomfortable. Staff was ok. The bartender in Partidos bar was very full of himself and did not always pay attention to the customers. The food was excellent in the main restaurant. The food was ok in the buffet. Overall the experience […] was positive. The resort is very quiet. If you are looking for excitement, it will not be for you. Great spot to relax and hang out by the pool! "Young couple, great time, so happy"
We were just there last week and loved it. Here's my notes as I read a ton of reviews before choosing this one, hope it helps: - No Kids so pool super relaxing - Rent day bed on beach at least once - Walking the beach in the morning or day, you will be very nearly on your own the whole time with no one around, 1 hour walk both ways to go to the end […] and back - We were able to also use the other 3 Pueblo resorts also, huge bonus. Plan a day at the sunset beach sky pool (must) and the (sunset beach main pool). Those pools play great music, are lively and a step above pacifica's pool. But we believe we had the best of both worlds, stay at the peaceful pacifica, take quick shuttle to sunset beach pools whenever you feel like it. - Take shuttle to down town Pueblo Bonito Rose, get drink at beach bar, and then walk to the down town area. We found that if you walk at the edge of the water, the vendors leave you alone. Above that and prepare to be harassed. Talking to other vacationers, the vendor people really bothered people that didn't see it coming but as long as you know that they will be there, I personally didn't mind just blowing by each one without answering. - For the Siempre dinner, for dress code, khaki shorts, collared shirt, sandals, more than fine. I overdressed first time going there with shoes and slacks, not needed. - Liquor option is great, bacardi, jack daniels, absolute, etc. They give you list in room when you get there. "Relaxing, quiet vacation away"
The hotel was amazing. From arrival to the end everything was amazing. The staff went above and beyond and did anything they could to make your stay enjoyable. This was our first trip to Cabo and we wanted to just relax. We chose the adults only and it was the PERFECT choice. The hotel was quiet, calm, relaxing and truly enjoyable. We had never done […] an all-inclusive before and were a little skeptical but it was worth it. We were able to try out the other sister resorts restaurants as well, all were delicious. "Will definitely visit again!"
For a relaxing getaway, this is your place. We loved the adults only atmosphere. When we wanted to do more, we took the free shuttle to downtown Cabo and walked where we wanted. If we didn't feel like walking far, a cab ride was about $12. We read a lot of reviews before we booked. I believe most of the complaints about poor service were not justified. […] Of course, when the employees are very busy, you're not likely to get instant service. But you'll get treated well by the servers who are friendly and doing their best. Or, if you're sitting by the pool, you can get your butt up and walk to the bar to get served immediately. We were never treated rudely by anyone who worked at the hotel. By the way, tip the servers! They work hard. The food was amazing. Of course, we did not LOVE every meal, but we were there 9 days, so it stands to reason that one or two meals would not be our favorite. Overall, the food was fresh and unique. I've never had such excellent soup in my life. Spring the extra money for La Frida. It was wonderful. Try the restaurants at the other hotels, too. You'll not be disappointed. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. I read complaints in reviews about missing tiles, etc. Didn't see anything like that. By the way, Americans, don't fling your ciggy butts on the beach. Put your towel in the container. Don't leave your empty glasses in the middle of the hot tub where the servers in shoes can't reach it. Have some class. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Amazing vacation and resort!"
I have been to many all inclusive resorts and this has by far been my favorite. I love that it was smaller, so it was so easy to get around the resort without having to walk far at all. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the views are incredible. I don't think there is a hotel room with a bad view here. The staff was very nice and because it is a smaller […] resort there are not a ton of people, which was great. The taxi into town was $12-$15 which was not bad. There is also the option to take the bus to the Rose resort in town if you are looking for a more affordable option. I liked being away from the city but it was nice to be close enough if we wanted to go into town. We shopped one day and then went to town for dinner another night, but that was it. I did not really want to leave the resort at all because it was just so nice and relaxing. The food was very good overall. It was not hard to get a reservation so that was nice. I definitely want to go back to the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Absolutely beautiful location! So relaxing..."
This was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The view when you exit the airport is beautiful and it has a big bar. Perfect beginning to a perfect stay. The ride to the resort is a bit far but totally worth it. Adults-only, relaxing and peaceful. We explained to the concierge that we were vegan and they shared the information with the restaurant […] who then made a special meal for us every evening. The food was delicious and they made us feel so special! The last evening we were there, we even had the opportunity to meet the chef! Every morning they offered beach yoga, pilates, boot camp, etc. The instructor was great and worked with all skill levels. Be sure to rent a beach bed at least once while you are there. It is very inexpensive and they provide you with your own waiter to handle your drinking and dining needs. The view of the Pacific is stunning. We even saw whales several times from the beach. There are some events by the pool including volleyball but it is never loud and crazy. If that is what you are interested in, they have 3 other resorts to choose from. They provide a shuttle to their other resorts so you can enjoy all of their restaurants. The resorts architecture and landscaping are both minimal and really beautiful. Our room was small but offered everything we needed. The cleaning team did a great job and got our room done promptly. We meditated on the beach and volunteered as dog walkers a the Los Cabos Humane Society. It was a blissful experience! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"As expedia elite eligible for upgrade"
I am always eligible for upgrading to a suite. I vacation twice a year, over a week each visit. I was upgraded at two trips. Hotel staff try to say its because of loyalty, I've been there ten times. Unless I call in advance to arrange, I doubt the upgrade would be offered. Suite was nice, but had to call for a room safe to be installed, numerous lights […] were out, went through three coffee machines and didn't get one to work, last one removed and was never replaced. Ants in the room and mini fridge, specifically water, was never refreshed. Had to call every day. Because breakfast buffet is offered, if ordering off the menu, service is slow, food is cold. Little attention to specific orders. Recommend referring to the hotel as zen be stopped. Too many guests are there to party, scream and yell. Don't like the music now piped in and live three nights a week. Would prefer no music, live or otherwise and strict enforcement of no smoking rules. Like resort a lot more if it returned to zen state it was years ago. Resort needs to decide what Bocados will provide as inclusive or not. Seems to change each year. As an example, one year lattes are free, the next is not. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

My husband and I were very happy with the resort and the staff. The food and drink were exceptional quality for an all inclusive. The resort has a beautiful pool area and a private beach. A stunning resort, restful, sunny, and a pleasure to stay at. All adult a real plus. The pools were great. The staff was impeccable, and very friendly. Siempre Restaurant very good, fresh local food, […] great service. Sushi restaurant was terrible. I took one excursion, kayaking to the Arch and snorkeling , extra fee of $70 and worth every penny-- spectacular! This is a great place to unwind, rest, loll around in the sun. "A week in Cabo's Paradise!"
My husband and I took our delayed honeymoon and babymoon during his business leave. We chose to vacation in Cabo for the hot climate and the time of year - didn't want to get hit with storms on the east coast of Mexico. I looked into costs on Expedia, and thought I was getting a GREAT deal for Pacifica and our flight - and we did! We found out through […] our travels in the city that we were staying at one of the best/higher end resorts in the area. We caught the shuttle to the other PB locations to roam the town and came back for a great (and free) lunch - I'd recommend the seafood enchiladas! The staff was unbelievably friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful while the grounds were kept immaculate. We took advantage of the room-service (that was included) whenever we were too full from dinner, or were too lazy to get dressed for breakfast. The grill was open by 10am so we could enjoy pina-coladas all day, and fill ourselves with the delicious chips, salsa and guacamole. The "Mexican" food and beverages made our visit even more exciting, especially when I enjoyed the huevos rancheros in addition to the buffet breakfast. Activities in the area were so much fun as well! I'd recommend waiting to book with the concierge at the hotel, as they have great discounts to offer and can help you decide what will fit your schedule and thrill-level. Also don't forget to take advantage of the activities center at the hotel! Too many great things to say about our experience! Thank you PB! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice place away from the tourist crowds"
We were there for six days and had a great time. The pools are wonderful and the service was very good. You can head off to the other Pueblo Bonito restaurants to dine, but we generally stayed at our resort. It was convenient to be able to use the Blanco or Rose hotels in Cabo if you went for fishing or kayaking. The rooms are large enough to be comfortable […] and the furnishing are decent. "First Time Away from Baby"
We wanted a relatively quite, adult-only get away since it was our first vacation away from our daughter who is about to turn 1 year old. Sleeping in, lounging around the sun-soaked pool, daytime drinking and not seeing little kids to make us feel bad about leaving our daughter back home was what we were looking for and that is exactly what this resort […] provided. A moonlit night on the balcony at La Frida Restaurant at the sister resort was the cherry on the top of our perfect first vacation without the baby. We're already dreaming about our next trip there. We arrived for our honeymoon on October 14th 2013. Looks like we just missed all the pool construction. All the pools and restaurants were fully functioning and the resort is GORGEOUS! Grounds are very well kept, and the overall cleanliness of the resort was great. We had the all inclusive package, that's the way to go. We probably ate and drank more […] in one week than the whole month prior. All the sister resorts are included in the package too for some more variety. We did the timeshare presentation our first morning there. We actually got out of there right at the 90 minute mark. I have been reading reviews of people staying 4+ hours! That's crazy. We got a lot of cool gifts out the deal and weren't bothered about it anymore after that. This resort is so relaxing. No kids! very quiet and peaceful. We purchased the all inclusive package, However there is a surcharge for premium liquor and for any espresso drinks. The room was clean but the bed and pillows very uncomfortable. "Sadly, our romantic getaway started off w/ 2 beds"
To start off, when we arrived we had an issue where they put us in a room with two full size beds (by American bed size standards) instead of the one king bed we reserved. We found out after we got to the room. When we asked to be moved was told king beds can only be given if enough are available, which is unacceptable -- it's a couples retreat. We […] had to stay there our first night and was very uncomfortable sleeping on the bed. It was inconvenient to be moved again because you have to repack your luggage and wait for another room the next day. So you might want to ensure you are really getting a king bed before going or be ready to sleep apart! We would have chosen another hotel for sure had we known. Very unprofessional check-in handling, and we should have been told ahead of time and not be surprised when we get to the room. We were able to get upgraded to a room on a higher floor with a king bed after multiple visits to the front desk to check. Another point to consider is that you'll have to wear a wrist band if you're on the all-inclusive plan. Also you have to reserve seats if you plan to eat in the resort's two restaurants. Service was for the most part excellent, however service is slow due to how long it takes for each course to be served, so plan on being at Siempre for around 90 minutes. A very scenic and very peaceful couples destination. We made the most out of our stay but won't stay again due to all the issues. Just not worth the troubles. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We went to dinner at their sister resort Rose and had dinner Fellini's. That was also fantastic. We chose to take a $14 taxi to rose it was only 12 minutes. "Wonderful Experience. But...."
I will say this was our first experience in Cabo. The resort is a bit far from the strip but it was amazing. The mattress? No Good. Its just a 3 star quality. The shampoo and lotion? We noticed the service pouring "Dove" into the hotel room sized bottle. Not Spa Like. Spa prices were quite expensive. We did not choose to try it out. My biggest pet […] peeve was the pool atmosphere. There was no music by the pools... It was like you were in your back yard and you say oh no I forgot my iPod! The only thing is there is no ipod to grab. Pools are not heated. The hot tub is quite nice. The service was impeccable, no other words. Never wanted for a thing.
