The room some kind of odor and the bed was full size bed instead of queen size. There was no dedicated breakfast area. The hotel lobby was extremely small and it was also a breakfast area. Breakfast hours ended earlier than listed. Not very convenient for getting into LA. There is another Super 8 motel that is closer to LAX airport - this one is 20 minutes away. Overall, mediocre quality, but I guess that's expected for Super 8.

I will never stay at Super 8 ever again. Internet was an absolute joke. The management did not care about any of my concerns with the room. The fan in the bathroom probably has not worked for weeks or months, but they told me that it was going to be fixed the first day. I was there for 4 days and no repairs were carried out. Do these owners not know that their hotels are rated by people that use these motels...you would think that they would do better. obviously this is not a 5 star hotel, but for what you pay, it's decent. Clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in the area. Only bad part is it is not really close to a freeway entrance.

I was told the Hotel was full, so we got the smelly smoking room. ugggg. I never saw more then 12 cars at any time, the toilot did not flush. each and every time we had to go to the front office and get the plunger.. even just for urine. was told why didn't you tell us.. lol.. we did every time we got the plunger.. 4 times in 2 days.. and we only slept […] there, left at 7-8 am both days, and did not come back till after 9 pm.. Room was made up when we got back in the evening. Towels were also changed. One of the towels had lipstick on it though :( The a/c worked well. The fridge was a nice bonus. You could hear traffic and people in the adjoining room. It was a good price and will probably stay here again if it is a short stay.

The hotel is located one mile from to the Del Amo mall and a few miles from the South-North highways. Although LAX appears in the name the motel is definitely not close to LAX and does not offer a shuttle service to the airport. Breakfast was minimal and the internet connection was not very reliable. Hotel location is great and close to freeways, groceries, mall, etc. The room is very comfortable, clean and the linens are clean. The hotel had a high rating but in my opinion it wasn't that great. The customer service was so-so. The lobby smelled like a kitchen, there were a few pastries and coffee only for breakfast and the internet wasn't working. The hotel is clean and had ample parking. Only complaint was the complimentary breakfast. Only decaf coffee (no reg.) & juice plus muffins & sweet rolls. I expected cereal, fruit etc. like most Super 8's. On the good side, it was quiet & clean & I would stay here again.

I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Good management, convenient location, good service, clean and quiet, although on a very busy boulevard. Freeway, restaurants, etc.,are all close. It's a great little hotel if you love visiting LA and staying in the south bay as I do.

My cousin works for the City of Los Angeles and when I told her about this place she said she is going to have it inspected This place was so bad I had reservations for two nights and only stayed one because I was scared my suit bag would become infected. Very shabby and very filthy. The pictures of the room on the web site is a lie!
