The hotel and staff are wonderful and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to Barcelona! The room was very clean and neat and the daily maid service was exceptional. The front desk staff was very professional and courteous. Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. Walking out of the hotel and looking up at the Cathederal every morning was surreal. Beautiful hotel and wonderful location!

The hotel was clean and neat, the staff very helpful, and the bathroom was great. We also found the price fair and reasonable. The view out of the back of the hotel was not the best- apartment back porches and dirty laundry, so keep the curtains closed.

Stayed for a five night family vacation. Our room for three was very nice with a king bed and sofa bed. Efficiency kitchen with dishes and silverware and cookware. Compact refrigerator. Very well located in Eixample neighborhood one block from metro station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the Passieg Gracia or upper part of the Rambla Cataluna. However the BEST was the service of the front desk. Whatever the request they were ceaseless in their efforts to please and accommodate. Information, directions, recommendations for eating and transportation, ticketing. The staff could not do enough for us. This is service that is rare to find in the amenities industry: a true personal touch. My family can heartily recommend the Acacia Suites for a Barcelona vacation. The only negative for some is that it is not located directly on Plaza Cataluna or the Rambla but if you want a quieter neighborhood, with a local feel it is a very nice place.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Diagonal for 2 nights before a Med. Cruise. Since there was a festival going on in the city, we chose to be away from all the crowds. The hotel was located about 20 min. from the airport, (28 euros with 3 bags), a short walk from the beach, and right across from a large mall with many choices for eating and shopping. […] The Hop on Hop off bus stop was just a few minutes (walk) from the hotel and is a great way to see everything in the city. The hotel staff was very helpful and breakfast in the morning was excellent. I would recommend this hotel if you are planning a visit to Barcelona. Read more
"hotel NOT on beach as picture seems to indicate"
This hotel was very overly crowded with long lines at the front desk and long waits for anything you needed. I would rather stay closer to main part of town. This Hilton is on the outskirts of Barcelona in a residental area. Cabs have to drop off your bags across the street from the hotel and someone has to go across to get a bellman. Very nice hotel excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Located steps from large mall with lots of shopping and walking distance to beach. Very business oriented location/hotel but very elegant and sophisticated.
"Great hotel, but outside the main tourist area"
This is a great hotel with very good service overall. I thought it was a good value for the room, particularly given how bad the $ to Euro conversion is. I came with my 8 year old and we spent most afternoons at the pool after being tourists early in the day. It was particularly nice to be across from a large mall to buy some drinks and snacks as well […] as provide meals when we were too tired to venture far away. It's very close to the metro, which is very convenient to get most everywhere you want to go. One very negative comment I have is that they were asking 27 Euros/day for internet access! That is absolutely ridiculous. Internet is almost like a utility and should be included in the base price, IMO. The staff at the hotel were very used to complaints about this since they cringed whenever they had to tell anyone this cost. Hilton really needs to change that policy. Read more

"Layover back to the US"
Beautiful hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas but convenient to reach the major sites by train. Beautifully appointed and the staff was very courtesous and helpful. I will definitely stay here again

"Good location"
Good location across the street from a shopping plaza. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had short delay at time of checkin as our room was not ready. Room was clean and very modern. Our room had a separate tub and fully enclosed shower that we both liked.

Very close to the beach and handy for the shopping centre and metro (15 min to centre). Easy to get to all major sights on public transport. Big (for city )pool, good rooms. Tv not fully functioning, bit of a pain. Lovely breakfasts and attentive staff.

"Great for the business traveler"
I stayed here a couple of nights and it is everything you'd expect from a Hilton - the rooms are big, quiet, clean and well designed, with comfortable beds, and the hotel provides amenities such as gym, pool, bar and business center. The location is not dead in the center, but off in a relatively new part of town. There's a big shopping mall across […] the road which is convenient, and a 20 minute bus ride (#41) will get you to Placa Catalunya and the Rambla. I think it outrageous to charge for Internet access, but this seems to be normal practice in Europe. I must especially commend the staff - I had quite a few special needs this trip, and came into contact with at least 5 different staff members. They were all extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel is convenient for the large conference centre in Barcelona. Just a short walk across ta square. Usual standard you expect from a Hilton but with some Catalan essence added which was nice to see.

Ble møtt med en pikkolo som hentet bagasjen vår. Innsjekkingen var OK, men var mangelfull med informasjon. Informerte derimot ikke om "depositumet" i tilefelle noe skulle bli tatt fra minibaren på rommet. Hotellet ligger i et OK strøk, et stykke unna byen. Noe dårlig med informasjon på metroen (sone inndelingen). Over veien ligger et senter med matbutikk, […] foodcourt og kleesbutikker. Personalet var vennlige, men resepsjonen la ikke merke til deg når du gikk ut og inn av hotellet. Og hilste dermed ikke på deg, utenom innsjekk og utsjekk. "tæt på havet"
Dejligt stort og lyst hotel-godt for børn og personalet meget børnevenlige. Vi var der, hvor det er totalt fyldt og det bærer hotellet selvfølgelig præg af-ikke så personlig betjening og tørt brød og halvkold mad! Receptionen er fantastisk venlige og gode til engelsk Ligger 5 min fra strand som er fedt med 4 børn

Anbefaler IKKE middag på restaurant "Indigo" på hotellet. Vi var et større reisefølge som skulle feire stor dag og bestilte bord i restauranten.Vi fikk ved utlevering av meny beskjed om begrenset mengde biffkjøtt var tilgjengelig. Vi "fordelte" da disse biffene og resten valgte annet fra menyen.Hallo?Tomt for oksekjøtt i Barcelona?Da kjøttet kom var […] vi blitt feilinformert om bifftype,ikke riktig stekt ihht. ønske,kalde potetbåter,osv. Vin ble helt opp i glassene 1 gang,resten måtte vi sørge for selv. En ekstra bestilling på siderett ble bare glemt.Alt dette med 3-4 servitører og bare 3-4 andre bord med gjester å servere utenom oss. Elendig rett og slett! Spis middag et helt annet sted... Wij zijn erg tevreden over het hotel. De metro is op ongeveer 5 minuten lopen en met de metro ben je in 10 minuten in het centrum. De omgeving van het hotel is rustig, maar tegen over het hotel is een groot winkel centrum waar vanalles te doen is. De locatie is wat dat betreft erg goed te noemen. De kamers zijn erg mooi ingericht en schoon. Daarnaast […] is alles erg luxe uitgevoerd. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Voordat iets op is, is het weer bijgevuld dus dat is erg goed! Verder is het personeel erg vriendelijk en helpen ze je met alles wat je wilt. De mini bar was wel erg duur. Je kan beter zelf wat drinken halen. Op elke verdieping is een ijsblokjes machine waardoor je drinken wel koel is. Prima geregeld al me al! Volgende keer gaan we zeker terug naar dit hotel. Read more
"Kjør trygt og sikkert - Hilton Diagonal Mar"
Vi var en stor familie på 6 for første gang i Barca. Hilton Diagonal Mar blir litt som en BMW - du kjører 'safe' og du kjører med stil. Servicen var god (og det er ingen selvfølge i Barcelona), standarden på fellesrom og eget rom veldig bra. Bassenget og Pool-area også bra, men om du reiser på våren eller høsten så dobbel-sjekk direkte med hotellet […] når bassenget er åpent. Nærmeste nabo er et svært kjøpe-senter som har det meste, og det er ca 500 meter til stranden. Det er ca 500 meter (igjennom shopping mall) til Metro'en (Forum/Mersmere) og det er bare og orientere seg der fra og bruke Metro først som sist, siden Barca er en stooor by med store avstander. Vi prøvde en dag og gå til La Rambla... ikke gjør det! Taxi fra flyplassen og inn, langs Ronda del Litoral koster deg ca 25 euro. Trenger dere 2 taxier, så kan dere like godt booke Hilton Limosine til 60 euro, og få en konge-tur til/fra hotellet. Litt dyr rom-service, pool-service, lobbey-bar - men det bør en være klar over når en booker Hilton. Det er ikke REMA 1000. For oss som synes det er OK og bo litt på utsiden av sentrum og ikke synes Metro er avskrekkendes, så er det godt mulig at vi vil booke Hilton Diagonal Mar igjen. Read more

Aan de naam Hilton kleeft een jet set verleden wat hier lijkt te worden uitgemolken. De redelijke kamertarieven om mee te kunnen met omliggende concurrentie wordt gecompenseerd door torenhoge prijzen voor parkeren, water op de kamer en het spreekwoordelijke biertje in de bar. Meest ouderwets of eigenlijk onbehoorlijk is dat er fors betaald moet worden […] voor het gebruik van een internet-verbinding. Ik ken de buurt goed; er zijn veel betere alternatieven op loopafstand. Zeer goed hotel! Alles was helemaal volgens verwachting of nog beter. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Super ontbijtbuffet. Elke ochtend een genot. Parkeergarage heel ruim en veilig. Mooie korting voor een hele week parkeren. Tegenover het hotel stopt de groene lijn van de Bus Turistic (hop on, hop off bus). Naar het centrum kun je verder met […] de lijndienstbus, metro (beide dichtbij) of met de taxi. Het grootste positieve punt van dit hotel is het grote zwembad en het enorme dakterras. Echt uniek in Barcelona. Heerlijke loungemuziek, voldoende bedjes, groot zwembad, massagetafels en heerlijke drankjes/hapjes vanuit de poolbar en grill. Echt relaxen! Tegenover het hotel is een groot winkelcentrum gevestigd met diverse restaurants binnen en buiten en een grote supermarkt. Kortom, ik zou een volgende keer zeker terug gaan naar dit hotel. Read more

Mkt bra och fräscht hotell. Fräscha rum med bra AC, morgonrockar + tofflor. Mkt bra frukostbuffé som de varierade dag från dag. Man kunde beställa tex omeletter och annat som de tillagade utan extra kostnad. Litet minus för alla småbarn vid poolen med sina stora uppblåsbara badleksaker, fast det stod i hotellets info att badleksaker ej var tillåtna. Minus […] också för att internet kostade 27Euro/dag på rummet. Men, å andra sidan skönt att vara utan internet i några dagar. Ligger en bit utanför stan, men vid havet och det är bra speciellt sommartid, då det hade blivit för varmt att bo inne i stan. Taxi till stan kostar ca 8-9 Euro och det finns även tunnelbana nära för 1,70 Euro/pers och man behöver inte byta. Mitt emot hotellet finns ett stort shoppingcenter med snabbmatsställen. Det som kunde vara lite trixigt var att hitta bra restauranger i närheten av hotellet, finns i och för sig i stan. Read more

Ser pænt ud på overfladen. Værelser små og ikke komfortable. Rengøringskvaliteten det laveste jeg indhold nu har oplevet. Manglende hygiejne i poolområdet. Restaurant bringer ikke hvad man ber om, flere ting savens i morgenbuffet. Personalets engelsk kundskaber ikke acceptable. Vi har oplevet en standard, som svarer til et 2 stjernet hotel. No Money […] for value. Kan ikke anbefales. Hilton har et stort problem her, også fordi at ledelse er usynlig. Read more
"Kjempe fint hotell i luksusklasse!!"
Hotellet var helt supert! Et stykke utenfor sentrum, og dyrt med drikke ved bassenget, men dette er småpirk. Vi vil absolutt benytte hotellet igjen!! Roomservice var ikke dyrt!
