The Fairfield by Marriott Nappa American Canyon was just what we wanted in a hotel. It's close to Napa, reasonably priced accommodations & breakfast included. Our room (king w/ sofa bed) was actually spacious and the bathroomwas very adequate too. Our roomwasaway from the elevator & was quiet. Breakfast offered several options - cereal, waffles, breakfast burrito, bagels & danish. Something for everyone. The staff was pleasant and check out went smoothly. I would definitely reccommend this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. Not many restaurants in the area, so that was a little dissapointing. There was plenty of fast food, but we were looking for a sit down place and there was only one within 7-8 miles. Would stay again. Rooms were big and clean, nice layout. And the price was very reasonable.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and just fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was not noisy or anything of the sort. We knew it was a ways outside of napa, the only part that I might consider changing next time, due to the drive back and fourth from wineries to hotel, back to restaurant, then back to hotel, a bit much driving. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, extensive for a "continental breakfast". Included, cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, danishes and even frozen heat up breakfast sandwiches. Overall, very pleased with this hotel stay.

Positives: Room was comfortable and clean. I was able to arrange my room location before I arrived which was nice. Also I left some clothes in the closet they sent to me for a reasonable fee. Negatives: The walls are a little thin. I could hear our neighbors talking. The continental breakfast station was continuously out of orange juice and the selections were lower quality than I would expect from a division of Marriott. Small changes could make an large improvement.

When we first arrived we were satisfied with the size and quality of the room. With exception to the dirty carpet...it made the bottom of our feet dirty...the room was pretty clean. The was overshadowed by the rude wake up we experienced the following morning. The hotel put us in the room next their conference room, which houses a church group every Sunday. We awoke to VERY LOUD music very early in the morning. The hotel was not full by any means, and we checked in relatively early. So I was frustrated that the staff had not only not mentioned the church group to us at check in, but didn't think to put us in another room, as the hotel was not booked out. The woman at the front desk was extremely cold and rude when I explained my frustration. Her "oh well" attitude was very disappointing and I expected a little more customer service. They definitely don't go above and beyond here!

Even though this hotel might not be the best bargain found in the area, it's a really nice one. Fairfield offers breakfast, wireless internet, pool, and a gym included. As always with these hotels the pool isn't the fanciest one, the gym is not the biggest one and the breakfast is certainly limited, but they still offer all of these. I got a room upgrade, so the room was really nice. However, the surroundings, a highway and a railroad aren't that exiciting. Really close and convenient to Napa too, so if you're doing a Napa trip but want to dodge the Napa prices, this might be the hotel for you. Friendly staff and clean rooms.
