"Great hotel location."
Hotel near downtown. Rooms are clean but you can hear tv of next rm. Staff could be friendlier though.Genuine Expedia guest review
Even though the Inn was not in a good location, the rooms were great and the staff was extremely nice. No completes of either room other than our room had a sitting area and the kids room did not...If in a better location, I would definitely stay again. I would like to note that the rooms looked as if they had been refurbished...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel for a good price"
The hotel is very convenient to downtown attractions. The hallways look a little shabby, but the rooms are quite nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A one night stay"
This hotel was very comfortable for the price, normal room, spacious bathroomGenuine Expedia guest review
"Price was right for Atlanta, however!"
Intimidating part of town, but had security to walk us from our vehicle. Killed roach in bathroom. Toilet seat was broken. Had to call for toilet paper, was told to come to front desk and get it? Had a continental breakfast that was minimal but sufficient. Otherwise was good price for an Atlanta hotel, probably was a wonderful facility at one time.Genuine Expedia guest review
Toilet was loose from base. Extremely wobbly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Had a good experience with famiy at this hotel. Stores near and great service!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great central location"
Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff. Perfect location central to everything. Bathrooms could use more updating. I'm told more good reno changes ahead. My 3rd time staying and will stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Service was horrible! House keeping totally ignited a do not disturb sign and entered our room while we were out, and left the door open when they left!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay again"
I really enjoyed my stay at Castleberry Inn. I have already recommended this hotel to a friend. The room exceded my expectations. However, the front desk staff was not very friendly. The housekeeper was friendly but we were not offered more towels for the next day. My overall experience was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was advertised as a 3 star hotel but I felt like it was more of a hourly motel. It served its purpose as a place to sleep. Sleeping was hard because all night there were emergency vehicle sirons. I would not recommend this room to anyoneGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Long term hotel near center of Atlanta"
Castleberry is a long term stay hotel that sometimes rents extra rooms for short term stays - if you can get one, it is a good price on a decent place to stay. My room was a bit old - the carpet was pulling up in places - but the room was clean and huge, the bed was comfortable, the price was good and the breakfast above average. The location was not […] exactly in the middle of downtown, but it only took 5 minutes to get there. As long as you have a car, this is a good option for events in the downtown Atlanta area. Very nice employees. Great food next door! Rooms were very spacious and clean but need to be modernized.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"small, good location but a little noisy"
Location is ok, GWCC, CNN, Olympic park are all in walking distance, the room is small but has everything you need, a little noisy sometime because I can hear sound of trains. Overall, it is good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Outstanding desk personnel"
The ladies who were working both at check in and the next morning went above and beyond to make certain we had a nice stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and price!"
Very nice hotel, the lobby and breakfast was great! Cannot complain..Genuine Expedia guest review
The front desk was very pleasant, also the house keeper was very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I needed a place to stay that wasn't too pricy for a concert and I didn't care that it wasn't super fancy, after all I really only needed a place to sleep but was very pleased to find this hotel. The room was nice, nothing fancy but clean, comfortable, and close to my concert location. The breakfast was nice because it saved me money on at least 1 meal, […] it was a little crowded but there were many people trying to eat at the same time so I decided to enjoy my breakfast outside in the courtyard area. "We went Gaga"
Everything was actually better than we expected after reading other reviews. The lobby is gorgeous. Our room was spotless, but the bed was hard, didn't sleep well because of that. All the staff were very helpful aside from one lady we talked to on the phone. We'll probably stay there again for Pride in October.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to HBCU"
Hotel is very convenient to Clark Atlanta University. The hotel staff was really nice and friendly. I stayed at Castleberry Inn Suites for 2 days and 1 night .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for trip to Dome/Convention Center"
Everything I needed for my business trip. Room was clean and spacious with a desk, iron and ironing board, minifridge, microwave. Hotel staff was very friendly in helping me find places to go around the city. Convenient 10 minute walk to the Dome, Convention Center and two MARTA stations. Price was great too, very affordable. Only downsides are that […] the walls are a mite thin and the surrounding neighborhood, while fine during the daylight in my opinion, might be a bit dicey after dark. "Wonderful stay, close to all sights in Atlanta."
I loved my stay here, breakfast was charming. Close to all downtown things to do in Atlanta. Staff was most awesome. Needs a smidge of updating. But rooms were clean and comfortable. We will be back again. And there is a wonderful courtyard, but it is not a roof top one. See y'all soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was very nice and helpful but the hotel was not as described on hotels.com. No wifi in room ,no security latch on door and no rooftop terrace wich was one of the reasons i choose this hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was great for me to stay here for my convention.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I really was not pleased with the hotel. The room was really outdated. It was not all that clean and a few things did not work. the room smelled like smoke and there were many loud guest.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel. Nice staff.. very little parking."
Enjoyed my stay. Not a very good breakfast. Besides that, everything was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not perfect but surprisingly good."
I stayed there while I was in Atlanta for a conference at the GWCC. The employees were extremely nice and prompt. The hotel was well kept. I was a happy camper.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Besides being a little far from where I wanted to go and our freezer being broken, it was a very wonderful stay. I would stay again if it was closer to where I want to go. The staff was very nice and helpful to any needs. I would suggest staying there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Ok. Fumigation is needed. I saw a roach and spider. Room was not made up one day, just the trash emptied. Don't know if this is a standard practice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This restaurant was within about 3 miles of everywhere I went (including Atlantic Station, Centennial Park, etc). It's also in the same parking lot as Paschals, a great restaurant with excellent food and service! The only problem I had with the hotel is that I thought I booked a double room, but the concierge said I booked a single room so we had to […] pay for a roll-in bed. Other than that, the bathroom was HUGE & comfortable, and we still had enough place for 3. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent and affordable."
You get what you pay for. It wasn't as bad as some of the reviews made it sound. Some of the people at the front desk are really nice, and the common area at the ground floor is comfortable. The waffles in the morning are delicious, but get them while you can because they say breakfast is served until 9:30, but they close up sooner than that. Our air […] conditioning was broken when we arrived, but they had it fixed within 2 days. The room had this really funky smell - and not in a good way. Didn't really get used to that. And the shower head didn't work very well so getting the soap out of my hair took longer than usual, but the bed was comfortable. I just needed a cheap place to stay near the Georgia World Congress Center, and this did the trick. I'd only recommend this place to someone in a financial bind. If you can afford something nicer, it might be better for you. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was even better than I was expecting. For the price & location, it is great! I was there for a one night stay with my boyfriend, and it was perfect. The female staff member at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. The breakfast was quick and simple! I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"5 days. Very clean hotel, staff extremely friend"
In Atlanta for a conference and hotel was in walking distance.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Don't waste your money!"
It was horrible the sheets dirty and I was told that if you stay over than they only change the sheets every other day. Overall, the internet picture is deceptive...Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was big and clean but service was poor. It was four of us in a room and I went to the desk to request more towels and toilet paper and hostess told me to "let the housekeeper do their thing...ask them when they get to your room" the room was $200 for 2 nights and not worth it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel to stay at."
Nice hotel to stay at. Urban area but buses ran a lot near the hotel. I would stay there again 3.3★.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Waste of money"
While it looks nice in lobby, the rooms look very dated and there was a horrible smell in our room. We were so disgusted we checked out a day early. Unfortunately we wasted our money and ended our vacation early.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Super for the price"
This hotel is near the GWCC. It isn't a new building, but was clean and roomy. Beds aren't the new pillow topped ones, but they were very good. Furnishings were a little on the worn side. Don't go there expecting the same as you'd find at the Omni. Do go there if you are looking for a more modest room/price, convenience, free parking, breakfast, and […] fast access to the GWCC or Olympic Park area.. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Reasonable stay, close to everything"
Hotel is nice and staff is friendly. Theres also security, and free parking. Only downfall is theres only one entrance/exit to the building and no late checkout. Will be staying here againGenuine Expedia guest review
When my husband and I arrived to the hotel, our room was ready. The lady working the front desk even upgraded our room for free. We ended up in one of the suites. We had a quiet, pleasant stay. Even though we were in town to go to an event at Centennial Olympic park which was less than two miles away (a 25 minute walk), unfortunately the surrounding […] area was not very safe or inviting to walk through. Luckily it was a 5 minute cab ride. I will recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Several things..... The staff were a bit unprofessional. I asked for a wake up call 2 days in a row and never received one. One of the request was taken directly from the manager. I used the Kiosks computer system in the lobby of the hotel where it clearly states the first 15 minutes are free. I was charged for 6 mins. When I told the front desk manager, […] non chalantley, I was told the hotel has nothing to do with that service to call the number. Anyway, the continental breakfast was limited and the toaster was broke. I was really disappointed but decided making a complaint while there would do no good. Hopefully some reads this and makes the necessary changes. Thank you Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, but showing its age"
This hotel looks great from the outside. It is situated in an artist community and area undergoing urban renewal. It serves a vital purpose there on Castleberry Hill. Go inside and you will see that this hotel has been around for a while. It has received painting to help keep it clean. The carpets are tired. My room was huge! In some ways, I wished […] I had more time to spend there to take advantage of the couch, refrigerator, microwave. But, then I looked at the lighting. It was dim in the room. One low-power bulb in each ceiling fixture. No light over the desk. No lighting for the couch. Furniture was very basic. The closet had no hangers, but it wasn't deep enough to hang anything there, anyway. The bathroom was clean and bright. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out that the way to activate the shower was to pull down on the tub faucet outlet. No indication or instructions about that. Breakfast was the basic fare with one waffle maker (long waiting time), cereal, juice, bagels, milk, coffee. Nothing fancy. The single elevator was slow. I used the stairs. My room had 2 small HD TVs, but it was not an HD signal. For the price, I would stay there again. If you want style, look elsewhere. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I felt like I received false advertisement. Although the hotel was nice my room looked like a closet.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Super Nice hotel! Friendly and Helpful!"
All employees were nice! Room smelled amazing, super clean and efficient! Recommend ! Really close to Downtown Atlanta.Genuine Expedia guest review
Got there no where to park 1st bad impression, checked into room no remote to TV and no ice container. After two non working replacement remotes we gave up. Our room #202 was wall to elevator and some loud generator contraption literally went off every 15 mins, get management to try sleeping through that, horrible anf the room was very small that bathroom […] however was nice size almost bigger than the room. Oh did I mention we couldn't get the shower to work either. Was this our punishment for booking room through expedia instead of vendor directly. We will never stay at that particular castleberry again!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to all must see sights."
Internet was non existent, my daughter was trying to do homework but was unable to connect. We were told someone was coming to check it, but someone never came during the 4 days we were there. We were on the first floor. We did appreciate the sofa bed as we had 3 children and our young fellow liked having his "own" bed. Cereal was not stocked well, […] not consistent with breakfast choices.Would be good to have a designated breakfast person. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I don't recommend this hotel. The hallway on the second floor are stucco and very narrow- dingy and smelled very musty - moldy. I cancelled the rest of my stay but was unable to collect the first night. The room was weird, hard to describe and very small. The surrounding neighborhood was bad.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My trip to Castleberry was for business. I was away from the hotel till the evening. It was very relaxing & peaceful when I arrived back. The staff was very friendly & helpful. I got a good night sleep & was refreshed when I awakened.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean hotel. Convenient to major Atlanta attractions. Nice decor but walls are paper thin. Could hear people above us and beside us throughout the night. Breakfast was mostly bread items. Only a few pieces of fresh fruit available.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"front desk service"
When I check in that Saturday afternoon I really enjoy the lady at the front desk. She had twist in her hair and she had on glass. She was very sweet and very friendly. I would mostly like come back and stay at this Castleberry […] Inn & suites. I give them a 5 out of 5. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
