This restaurant was within about 3 miles of everywhere I went (including Atlantic Station, Centennial Park, etc). It's also in the same parking lot as Paschals, a great restaurant with excellent food and service! The only problem I had with the hotel is that I thought I booked a double room, but the concierge said I booked a single room so we had to […] pay for a roll-in bed. Other than that, the bathroom was HUGE & comfortable, and we still had enough place for 3. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent and affordable."
You get what you pay for. It wasn't as bad as some of the reviews made it sound. Some of the people at the front desk are really nice, and the common area at the ground floor is comfortable. The waffles in the morning are delicious, but get them while you can because they say breakfast is served until 9:30, but they close up sooner than that. Our air […] conditioning was broken when we arrived, but they had it fixed within 2 days. The room had this really funky smell - and not in a good way. Didn't really get used to that. And the shower head didn't work very well so getting the soap out of my hair took longer than usual, but the bed was comfortable. I just needed a cheap place to stay near the Georgia World Congress Center, and this did the trick. I'd only recommend this place to someone in a financial bind. If you can afford something nicer, it might be better for you. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was even better than I was expecting. For the price & location, it is great! I was there for a one night stay with my boyfriend, and it was perfect. The female staff member at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. The breakfast was quick and simple! I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

It was horrible the sheets dirty and I was told that if you stay over than they only change the sheets every other day. Overall, the internet picture is deceptive...Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was big and clean but service was poor. It was four of us in a room and I went to the desk to request more towels and toilet paper and hostess told me to "let the housekeeper do their thing...ask them when they get to your room" the room was $200 for 2 nights and not worth it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

While it looks nice in lobby, the rooms look very dated and there was a horrible smell in our room. We were so disgusted we checked out a day early. Unfortunately we wasted our money and ended our vacation early.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Super for the price"
This hotel is near the GWCC. It isn't a new building, but was clean and roomy. Beds aren't the new pillow topped ones, but they were very good. Furnishings were a little on the worn side. Don't go there expecting the same as you'd find at the Omni. Do go there if you are looking for a more modest room/price, convenience, free parking, breakfast, and […] fast access to the GWCC or Olympic Park area.. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Reasonable stay, close to everything"
Hotel is nice and staff is friendly. Theres also security, and free parking. Only downfall is theres only one entrance/exit to the building and no late checkout. Will be staying here againGenuine Expedia guest review
When my husband and I arrived to the hotel, our room was ready. The lady working the front desk even upgraded our room for free. We ended up in one of the suites. We had a quiet, pleasant stay. Even though we were in town to go to an event at Centennial Olympic park which was less than two miles away (a 25 minute walk), unfortunately the surrounding […] area was not very safe or inviting to walk through. Luckily it was a 5 minute cab ride. I will recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Several things..... The staff were a bit unprofessional. I asked for a wake up call 2 days in a row and never received one. One of the request was taken directly from the manager. I used the Kiosks computer system in the lobby of the hotel where it clearly states the first 15 minutes are free. I was charged for 6 mins. When I told the front desk manager, […] non chalantley, I was told the hotel has nothing to do with that service to call the number. Anyway, the continental breakfast was limited and the toaster was broke. I was really disappointed but decided making a complaint while there would do no good. Hopefully some reads this and makes the necessary changes. Thank you Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, but showing its age"
This hotel looks great from the outside. It is situated in an artist community and area undergoing urban renewal. It serves a vital purpose there on Castleberry Hill. Go inside and you will see that this hotel has been around for a while. It has received painting to help keep it clean. The carpets are tired. My room was huge! In some ways, I wished […] I had more time to spend there to take advantage of the couch, refrigerator, microwave. But, then I looked at the lighting. It was dim in the room. One low-power bulb in each ceiling fixture. No light over the desk. No lighting for the couch. Furniture was very basic. The closet had no hangers, but it wasn't deep enough to hang anything there, anyway. The bathroom was clean and bright. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out that the way to activate the shower was to pull down on the tub faucet outlet. No indication or instructions about that. Breakfast was the basic fare with one waffle maker (long waiting time), cereal, juice, bagels, milk, coffee. Nothing fancy. The single elevator was slow. I used the stairs. My room had 2 small HD TVs, but it was not an HD signal. For the price, I would stay there again. If you want style, look elsewhere. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Super Nice hotel! Friendly and Helpful!"
All employees were nice! Room smelled amazing, super clean and efficient! Recommend ! Really close to Downtown Atlanta.Genuine Expedia guest review
Got there no where to park 1st bad impression, checked into room no remote to TV and no ice container. After two non working replacement remotes we gave up. Our room #202 was wall to elevator and some loud generator contraption literally went off every 15 mins, get management to try sleeping through that, horrible anf the room was very small that bathroom […] however was nice size almost bigger than the room. Oh did I mention we couldn't get the shower to work either. Was this our punishment for booking room through expedia instead of vendor directly. Internet was non existent, my daughter was trying to do homework but was unable to connect. We were told someone was coming to check it, but someone never came during the 4 days we were there. I don't recommend this hotel. The hallway on the second floor are stucco and very narrow- dingy and smelled very musty - moldy. "Simply Put, Meh"
We stayed here in order to attend a conference downtown. Within walking distance, if during the day. At night I wouldn't recommend if. This hotel is close to a good hotel. Linens were just okay, the A/C unit didn't work well, sink sprayed everywhere, small tv's for a big room, breakfast bar is awkward, the hotel staff when asked to do something often […] rolled their eyes. Odd layout of rooms, had European outlets in our room. I would stay here again for the price, but do not expect much other than a place to sleep. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The location to Turner Field was less than 2 miles - a 5 min drive or 35 min walk. We walked the first day, but the neighborhood did not seem safe for afterhours. The room was large, but the king bed sagged to the middle and our room was not cleaned for our 2nd night. We were just given new towels for the bathroom. The staff was friendly, we were just […] as close to the aquarium as the ballpark, and their is a good restaurant in the parking lot. "Decent place for a couple nights stay"
Stayed here while visiting a couple colleges in ATL. The rooms were simple, but fine for the price. Staff was nice, internet worked, and had no issues with the room. "Very pleased with our stay"
My partner and I decided to take his parents to watch their first Atlanta Braves game at Turner Field. The rates were getting to be ridiculous at our normal Hotels, such as the W and Ritz Carlton. We were hesitant to stay anywhere outside of the area that we normally stay, but all hotels were booked, or going for 500+ dollars per night. His parents […] are in their mid 60s and we did not want to journey back home to North and South Carolina after the game. We got online, found the Castleberry Inn, and needless to say, we were very pleased. The staff was Very personable, always greeting us with smiles, and at check out time, wanted to know how our stay was, but most importantly, how did his parents like the game. They even wanted to meet his parents, and shook their hands as we were leaving. We all slept as comfortably as if we were at home. Large CLEAN room, and very cozy. We will be back for many more visits! This stay made our game trip perfect, and only served to add more beautiful memories to our trip! Kudos to the staff, and keep up the great work. We will return to the Castleberry Inn for our next game! Thank You All for making us feel so welcome in your warm, cozy Inn! Memories like this are Priceless! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our experience was the worst one I have had since I started booking with hotels.com. Right off the bat we had a problem. Our bathroom was not working and the toilet overflowed on the floor and I had to personally go down to the desk to get a plunger. The air conditioner was not working they sent up a worker which was there for an hour. Then he asked […] us to go down to the desk to have our room changed. Upon doing that the desk clerk said there were no more rooms I said I was not staying in a room without air. So she gave us one. Not very clean curtains were hanging off of their rods. "Close to GWCC"
Room was spacious, had a mini fridge, microwave & sink, but had no table chairs to sit to enjoy any food you might want to eat in the room. There was a desk with an office chair. Room was designed for more, just wasn't furnished. The "dresser" was a 2ft wide TV stand. Lighting was very poor due to wattage of bulbs. Bathroom had two pedestal style sinks, […] with no vanity for sitting toiletry items. The room layout was great, but the amenities in the room were either nonexistent or useless. They serve breakfast til 9:30 but at 9:23 was there cooking a waffle for my husband, was going to make myself one, but staff started taking up the breakfast items and one walked off with the dough when my back was turned. "4 stars for the price, otherwise a 3."
This hotel was really pretty nice. I think they have done renovations recently. The lobby is very nice. The breakfast which was a room in the lobby, was pretty extensive and included waffles. They really need a second machine, but as long as you're patient, you will eventually get one. They had creal, bagels, yogurt, fruit and more. We stayed in two […] rooms. The first rooms was a queen bed room. It was really small and just okay. The room had like a 24 inch tv, a fridge, table, and a microwave. I went with my mom, and after one night sleeping together, we upgraded to a 2 bedroom. Now I don't know if was a suite or just the nomal sized double room, but we did have a couch in this room with everything the first one had, and about twice the room. It was really centrally located for the zoo and aquarium. The zoo was like 15 minutes (2.6 miles to the right), and the zoo was like 15 minutes to the left. HELPFUL HINT: if you go and you have as much trouble finding fast food as we did, you need to go to LEE street. Put CVS in you GPS from the hotel. IT is like 3 miles away, but when we put Wendy's in the stupid GPS took us back to the city (where there is no pariking), luckily we needed a redbox so we put in CVS and found most of the fast food you would want and a grocery store. Anyway, for the price compared to others, this hotel gets a 4 stars for location, free parking, helpful staff, breakfast, microwave and fridge, and the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hidden value!"
Being familiar with the downtown Atlanta area, I was a little apprehensive about making a reservation at this hotel due to its location and price. Usually the lower the price, the more questionable a given hotel will be. However, since I was trying to keep this impromptu trip within my budget, I made the reservation and crossed my fingers. I was pleasantly […] surprised by an extremely helpful front desk staff and beautifully kept, art deco lobby. The room was nice though I would hope that in the future they could bring the rest of the hotel up to the lobby's standards. I had made a reservation for a king sized bed and was instead put into a 2 double bed room which really wasn't something I was going to fret over. The room was large and spacious and again I was impressed by the value for that much space. The bathroom was clean and fully stocked and everything in the room (TV/fridge) was in working condition. My only note of concern would be that not all of the electrical outlets worked (I had to plug my phone in clear across the room) and a desk in the room would've been nice. Additionally, the hotel could use some sound dampening between rooms since I could hear (and feel) the kids above me running laps and having conversations. They eventually fell asleep as did I and I would definitely stay there again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Only 2 problems were parking (which was awful) and room service. No one came in our room to give new towels or sheets or take the trash. There were 5 of us and we had to go to the office every day and ask for new towels and on the last day they actually told us they aren't going to give us anymore towels which was fine because we were leaving but if […] they had cleaned our room daily like any other hotel we wouldn't even have to ask! Overall I liked the hotel and I would stay there again. It was a nice clean and large room. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
