Pros: Great architecture, ambiance, pool, location and eating areas. Has a wonderful feel that you won't get from a larger hotel. Right on the river within walking distance to most restaurants and bars. Staff was incredibly helpful; hotel guests can charge tuk-tuks, cars and tours to the hotel. Con: Bathroom doesn't have much privacy from the bedroom […] as it's a sliding open shutter door. Overall this hotel is just lovely and charming with a nice pool area. FCC is a small hotel set opposite the river in Seim Reap (no views). The restaurant/bar has obvious expat charm as one would imagine being the old 'Foreign Correspondents Club'. There is a good selection of drinks on offer and the restaurant has an extensive menu (which also forms the room-service menu). The rooms are clean and modern with fantastic […] design. I especially like the rainwater shower head and black tiled bath/shower. The rooms surround the small, albeit funky, pool and small lawn on the ground floor, with the remainder over two levels around a small area of manicured garden. This is a small, personal hotel with only 16-odd rooms. The staff are friendly and it is a short walk or tuk-tuk ride into the markets and the nightlife area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the FCC, especially to those who like smaller more personal hotels. Read more

Basically, we had a wonderful 4 day stay at the FCC. I was a little concerned about the location being a little out of the centre of Siem Reap. However, it is a great location in that the centre of town (old market etc) is only an interesting 10 minute walk along the river or 5 minute tuk-tuk ride ($2 each way). We enjoyed watching the local traffic […] go by the front of the hotel from the restaurant bar. We were constantly surprised by the amount of people or produce that could be transported on a small motorcycle. Our room was quiet and well appointed. The only minor issue we had was that it was hard to get a lot of natural light in the room as the windows were covered by thick curtains. The staff were delightful, attentive and helpful. The restaurant, although more expensive than many downtown, produced good fun and is a great place to have a drink (especially at happy hour when prices are much more reasonable). We used the hotel to arrange a guide and transport for 2 days of sightseeing at Angkor Wat. They provided an excellent guide and a very careful and attentive driver. We were greeted with a nice cold towel when we got back into the car after a long hot hike around a temple - much appreciated. Overall, it was a great place to be during our stay in Siem Reap. For the price the choice of breakfast was quite poor and service was poor too. A few examples. When we asked for boiled egg instead of scrambled we were told it wasn't possible as not on the menu, likewise they couldn't make plain pancakes. The hotel was never designed to be a hotel as their brochure says. It started as a summer residence in colonial days and was used for some time as barracks. The rooms have little or no privacy. With the curtains open guests or staff walking by can see into the room through full length full width windows. When the curtains are closed the room is dark […] and unfriendly.. FCC Angkor is a great small hotel. Impressive service at the front desk, bar, restaurant, room upkeep, etc. the front desk will help you with everything from angkor wat, shooping, dinning, asparas dances, everything. We were welcomed at the airport by the hotels driver at 12.30 Am and on on a arrival the reception was professional and quick to process our Registration and allocate our rooms.The room looked like in the pics and was comfortable the shower was great and a bath added bonus.The Hotel is located only a short walk bike ride or tuk tuk to anywhere in Sian […] Reap we were two couples and on one morning requested assistance organizing a guide and some bikes to go to Angor Watt half an hour latter we all set off what a day!We dinned at the hotels restaurant food and service was great.I tried the spa and can recommend the massage if you have a spare two hours we had a swim in the pool and enjoyed walking around the taking photos it really is a nice Hotel. 泊まった部屋はスイートでした。 部屋の清潔さは、日本国内のビジネスホテルを基準に考えると、リネン類含めて劣る感じはあります。 お風呂やトイレ、シャワーの場所が面白いです。 部屋はくつろげてよかったです。 朝食はバイキングではなく前菜とメインと飲み物を数種類から選べるものでした。間違えて前菜を二種類頼んでしまいましたが、追加はありませんでした。おいしかったです。 立地は繁華街には少し遠いですが、歩いて行けない距離ではなく、大通りに面しているので安心です。 高級ホテルの清潔さを求めなければ、いいホテルだと思います。大型ホテルにはない雰囲気も楽しめると思います。

併設のレストランで朝食がとれます。 2つのメニューのくくりの中から、それぞれ1品ごと選ぶことができます。 フルーツサラダとフレンチトーストとか、バナナケーキとヌードルとか。 結構ボリュームがあるのですが、どのメニューもおいしそうで、毎日この朝食が楽しみでした。 朝早く食べたい人（4：30～7：00位）にはルームサービスで朝食が提供されるようです。
