"Late in the Season"
We booked for 3 nights, they did not inform us that the season was ending on the Sunday and there would be limited facilities (bar, restaurant) and skiing. Overall it was nice enough place to stay for a long weekend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY"
I have never stayed in such a run down disgusting hotel in my life. The shingles were falling off the roof. It smelled moldy among other things.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easter at Killington"
It is great location to the ski area and other restaurants. The hotel could use some upgrades. The staff was very nice and the outdoor heated pool was awesome after a day of skiing.Genuine Expedia guest review
"overpriced and rude"
It is very discouraging when we are lectured about visitors and overcharged for such a rundown hotel. curtains are falling off the windows. fireplaces often don't work. Told the hotel is oversold but to find out it was nearly empty. don't appreciate being lied to.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful Vermont ski experience"
Staff was super friendly. Complimentary Breakfast was a little weak by most hotel/inn standards today. But, this was more than compensated by the staff, and classic Vermont ski atmosphere.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect place to stay while skiing"
Being Completely Honest, it is by no means a 5 start hotel. However, for the price, the atmosphere and quality of service was incredible. It is the perfect place to stay if you plan on skiing all day and then just relaxing at night. I played pool with the manager at around 11 oclock with my friend and a bunch of dads who were near the bar. What more […] can I ask for? Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Our room had an adjoining door. It was not very sound proof. Noise from the room next door came right through. Overall, the inn is fine for a place to crash while skiing at Killington. Nothing fancy, but functional (for sound sleepers).Genuine Expedia guest review
It was a very convenient location to Killington Mtn.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not what i expected"
not good! people walking in their room above you sound like they are going to come through the ceiling. The gaggle of sorority girls in the room next to us could have been in our room. The walls are made of paper I think. The sink is in the room on the opposite side of the room from the shower/toilet. No hot water! Stayed here after skiing all day so […] a hot shower would have been nice. The only good thing I can say is that the shower and toilet were clean, but you can be sure we didn't stay for the included breakfast the next morning. Would be the perfect setting for a horror movie. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Average hotel, but walkable to the base lodges"
Overall, the positives here outweighed the negatives. The hotel room was small, our television remote control was broken and the balcony wasn't shoveled after a snow storm a few days prior. Those small things aside, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly and it was ridiculously close to the snowshed and ramshead lodge. You can literally walk […] there (wouldn't want to drag my ski equipment still) and there's a shuttle bus nearby. There's a small lounge with music where people hung out in the evening hours which was a nice touch. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall a very nice hotel with excellent location"
Overall a very nice hotel. If you are expecting a 5 star hotel with ultra modern accommodations and a large staff that can cater to every need, this inn and Killington in general, are not for you. Entertainment (Jazz band) on Monday night was great. The Santa Fe steakhouse was nice but very expensive. The manager and staff were always very helpful and […] the general condition of the hotel was exactly what I expected. The proximity is 100 yards from the Snowshed lodge parking lot so there is no hotel closer to the slopes. The bus service to the slopes (although you could walk) and at night to the local night spots was dependable. On the down side, the bathroom fan in our room was very loud, the refrigerator in our room was loud enough that we unplugged it at night, walls between the hallway and room are thin and lastly the available outlets in the room were very hard to come by (we found 2 in the entire room). All said, I think this was a good hotel and I would certainly stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel location was excellent - within walking distance of the mountain. Hotel staff were super helpful and nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great ski lodge"
Very clean and friendliness. Both excellent restaurant and lounge right in the hotel. I will be staying there again this year and referring it to all my ski friends.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms were a bit run down but can't beat location, 2 mins from base lodges. Did have serious noise issue in wee hours(2:30am) partyers came back from bars and were obnoxiously loud in nearby rooms. Had to call front desk, still took 20 mins to silence the crazies.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"3 Day Stay"
When we arrived we were informed that we where upgraded to a larger room for no charge, this was very nice of them. Also the new room came with a gas fireplace, which was interesting, but it had its downsides as well. Running the fireplace made the room extremely hot, that would not have been a problem if there was a way to cool the room. After 30 minutes […] of having the fireplace on the room was 90 Degrees, and we had to open the Window, and door to vent the heat out. The continental breakfast was a joke, stake waffles and paper thin bacon is not a breakfast. The overall upkeep of the hotel was lacking. You could not count on railings to help you up or down stairs as they would pull away from the walls. Also there was evidence of water damage in our room that was not repaired. "Great hotel for a ski weekend with family"
We have been there 4 times and will continue to stay here on our family's yearly ski trip. Nice that it is right at the bottom of the ski mountain, convenient after a long day of skiing. Love the cozy family friendly lounge with a fireplace. And the outdoor heated pool is the reason we originally picked this place to stay and is awesome. Price is very […] reasonable, too. "Great hotel for a ski weekend."
Perfectly nice place if not elegant. Most important point is it is very close to the slopes. There is a decent, not great breakfast (how about some fruit guys) but the staff is super friendly, bar is cozy and nice, entertainment was great, so really no complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great stay close to the mountain."
The staff is very friendly and quick to help in anyway possible. The rooms and amenities are outdated.Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Close to restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap motel in disguise."
This is a dumpy motel, make no mistakes. The ceilings creek with people walking all night and the last updates were likely done in the 1980s. Breakfast was a stale loaf of bread set out next to a toaster - the guests were aghast. Everyone had despair on their faces in the morning. Glad we only stayed for a few hours one night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the lifts"
Great location and great price, hotel is comfortable and staff very friendlyGenuine Expedia guest review
Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the fireplace in the room; very cozy. The outdoor pool was a surprise in the dead of winter. It was great when you were in the pool but getting out of the pool back to the hotel was freezing! Appreciated the shuttle bus to the slope - timing was good - every 15 min.Genuine Expedia guest review
Clean simple room. Very helpful and nice front desk staff. Convenient location. Complementary breakfast. Right next to Killington mountain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very disappointing. From rooms to breakfast to service, everything is cheap, falling apart and disappointing. Find another place!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and very personable owners and staf"
Room was well maintained and clean. Was very function for getting in and out to mountain. OWners were very nice and treated us well. I would definitely recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is not as advertised 1. Had to call to get a front desk person to check us in. 2 multi story hotel with no elevator. 3 restaurant closed 4 pool& spa closed. 5 the "deluxe" room we had had a bed and a desk chair. No desk, no closet just a bar. 6 view of unpaved parking lot. 7 no porch to unload in the rain. 8 very old wooden structure with […] rickety stairs. 9 parking lot a mud hole in the rain. 10 No desk personnel available. 11 pm to 7 am. 11 Very expensive for what you got 12 lobby bathroom had water all over floor. 13 not close to anything downtown Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was a surprising jewel. Very clean, well maintained. We stayed before the start the ski season and so the hotel services were not availableGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"needs to be bulldozed"
This hotel should not be on your preferred list. It is very outdated, the continental breakfast was a couple of pieces of white bread and two muffins and coffee. The room cards were in an envelope that had been used over and over again. The bedspread, wallpaper, and drapes had to have been 40 years old. The desk help was no where to be found when we […] checked out. We could not believe that we spent hard earned money on this very disappointing place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great to be at base of Killington for foliage"
The Inn has all the rustic charm of an older swiss ski chalet. The hallways are dedicated to the local wood that grows in the area so you quickly are enveloped by the woodsy feel. The staff were very nice, the rooms sufficient for a quick stay or for futur ski weekend. Great value to get near mountain base.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
If were a young couple off to ski Killington, this would be fine. As a mature couple of seasoned travelers, this is not our choice. Thin walls, noise, the smell of having been closed for the summer, and aesthetic issues like the nice little functional refrigerator in the room, all left an impression that it is for another type of traveler than the Inn […] tourist. Nice managers though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We enjoyed our stay. Was very nice room with a balcony and the fireplace in the room was a great touch. Would recommend them to anyone visiting that area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Employees were helpful and polite. Room was stuffy and smelled musty. Fireplace was appreciated. Overall impression was that hotel badly needed painting and updating. Restaurant was expensive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rundown ski lodge. Lounge - not open. Restaurant - not open. Contintental breakfast - disappointing is not the word. Parking lot not paved, so if you have a clean car, don't expect it be clean by the time you leave. Sand and stones. Room small. Bed in full view when door is opened. Make sure you're dressed appropriately. People friendly. Owned and run […] by people that appear to be from India. Bathroom small. Sink outside of bathroom. Place not pictured as looked on Experian. All around, one out of five, I would give it a two. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"2 night business stay stay"
The staff of two young men were very friendly and offered to help with my luggage. Some amenities advertised were not available or adequate because it was not during busy time of the year. Not adequate: Cable television service was limited to about 7 stations and was very fussy, Window opening crank almost unusabel, Video library is limited to mostly […] old movies and the table for computer use was small. "Killington Off Season"
The people who run this hotel are very, very nice and very helpful. The hotel will be difficult for anyone with disabilities (no elevator), and the mattresses lack back support (painful mornings for someone with arthritis). Our room had no table on which to put anything. A small table with the two chairs would have been a big plus. There was a mini-fridge, […] but no microwave. The bathrooms have recently been remodeled and are fresh and clean, albeit tiny. We were there "between seasons," (that is, after the music season and before the leaf season), and there were not many restaurants or other businesses open on the mountain. There are a couple of small delis, and a small market nearby. The fireplace was a plus and easy to use, but there was no air conditioning, even though it was August. Opening the window, and the door to the balcony, provided fresh air at night and in the morning. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect for going to Killington Mountain"
Incredibly close to the mountain and they provide bus service! The hotel has a nice bar and had live music, which was a nice surprise. The only minor down side is the walls are paper thin. Our neighbors weren't as pleased with the enjoyable night we were having ;)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Knowing the Killington area well, I knew we weren't going for top class accomodations...just a place to sleep. We got what we were expecting. What we were most impressed with was the friendliness of the hotel staff. Our first room had no heat for 24 hours, so after alerting the front desk, they immediately had someone looking into it. Unfortunately […] the problem was not fixed, so the staff suggested moving and upgrading our room, without additional cost. We didn't even need to ask! They were so unbelievably friendly and accomodating, even looking for a room close to our original one so we wouldn't have to move our luggage far. It was a pleasant stay all because of the friendly and accomodating staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cosy and Convenient"
400 yards from Killington mountain in Vermont, we had a lovely room with a fireplace (with remote timer switch), fridge, TV with a DVD player, hair drier and plenty of towels. The pool is kept very warm despite it being outside and the sauna was wonderful as well. The service could not have been better. The hotel offers an included adequate breakfast, […] and the jazz band on Monday evenings (in the bar) was wonderful as well. I highly recommend the place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"3 nights at Killington's Mountain Inn"
The hotel was nice enough. Nothing extravagant, but very adequate. The staff were extremely kind and courteous though occasionally a little difficult to understand, due to English not being their native tongue. A good continental breakfast starts each day....and we were close enough to walk to the slopes should we choose to do so. We got what we went […] for, a cost effective stay for 3 guys to get away quickly to check out Killington from the Virginia Beach area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pretty solid, close to both slopes & dining, bars"
The place serves its purpose. It is not a dump, and it is not spectacular. They keep the place clean and the rooms are in good condition. But you're defo not getting 4-star, big city. As the sign in the bathroom reminds you when advising against dumping safe of TP down the bowl, this is country plumbing. But there were no red flags. It is close enough, […] depending on your tolerance, to walk to the slopes (made unnecessary by the ample shuttles). The restaurants/bars are in the other direction- not really comfortable walking distance, but there is no reason to get stuck walking. If you must restrict yourself to the campus, free wi-fi speed is reasonably quick, breakfast is adequate and there is dining and a lounge (though I can't vouch for those). "Basically right on the moutain"
The level of genuine, courteous service at The Mountain Inn far exceeds just about anywhere I've ever stayed. They constantly went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Even after we were long gone it continued; they arranged to ship some stuff to us that we left behind in the room. We loved that they had an attached restaurant, […] and a separate attached bar with live entertainment every night. Great alternative for 30-somethings to the "nightclubs" on the access road. Nice that I could throw back a few extra local beers (of which they had an impressive selection) and then walk down the hall to my room. We loved that the bus stopped at the hotel and was one stop to the lift. We also loved the heated outdoor pool. The included hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Only complaint was the linens. The pillows were old and saggy, the blankets were probably older than me, and the towels were small and rough. Everything was plenty clean, but some new linens and towels would really, really bring this place up a few pegs. Overall a very pleasant stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Mountain Inn at Killington"
The hotel accommodations were modest but more than adequate. The hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. My only complaints were the ignorant guests that slammed their doors in the middle of the night and the foreigners who went knocking on doors at 8:00 am to find their fellow travelers. We weren't part of their crowd but they knocked […] on our door nonetheless! My husband was still asleep by the way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
