Perfect set up for an extended Vegas stay off the strip. We had a nice 1 bedroom set up, with a full bathroom, dining area, kitchen and living space. Clean, neat, friendly staff. (side note, I rated sleep quality average, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. The last 2 nights of our stay we had someone with a small child and an extreme lack of manners in the room above ours, Their child was allowed to stampeded thru their room very late into the evening, to the point where I had to call the front desk at 1am to ask them to get us some relief. They scrapped their chairs constantly and seemed to be intentionally stomping their feet . Again, not the CLiffs fault, but annoying nonetheless.) Read more

It is just okay. Not all rooms upgraded or updated...we stay here 2 times a year for its location. Be sure not to go barefoot in your suite, floors are filthy .

My fiance and I were in Las Vegas to visit family and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a beautiful resort. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The location was good for us as it was away from the Strip. We will return there next year.

If you don't mind being 15-20 minutes away from the strip, then this is the place for you! So we've been looking for the last couple years for decent alternatives to the strip and downtown properties. This is DEFINITELY a good one... just as long as you don't mind driving to all of the action. This place is located about 18 minutes west of Las Vegas […] Blvd if you drive the streets. You might be able to save a minute or two if you take the 215 fwy back to Interstate 15 north into the city. Either way, it's not that far away from all the action. Stayed in a 1 bedroom condo for a couple days for a wedding. It was about 750-800 square feet in my opinion (I know the brouchure says more). They have an outdoor BBQ area, a clubhouse with a billards table, a outdoor pool and a hottub. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to the center of the strip every hour. The room was clean. The property was really quiet when we stayed. They have a large shopping center a few blocks up the street. Plenty of food places surround you, from fast food to sit-down restaurants. They only offer turndown service 4 days per week to keep down on costs. Got both days for the price of 1 night at a strip hotel. Ya can't beat that considering! Read more

This is our second stay at The Cliffs at Peace Canyon. After having stayed in a regular hotel in Las Vegas where you have to walk through the smoky casinos to get anywhere, especially to the restaurants, we really appreciate the smoke free environment.

The room was clean and the condo was spacious. The pool is very small but clean and fun with the waterfalls. As the weather has been cooling off, it would have been nicer if it had been heated, but we still had a good time. We thought it odd that we had to take our trash out at the end of our stay. My 2 night stay at The Cliffs was a very pleasant surprise. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was very spacious, very clean, well furnished and just what I needed. While I did not use the pool area, the grills or the fitness center, I did check them out and it was all very nice! My customer was located on the west side of Las Vegas so, The Cliffs […] had me perfectly situated and I had a very comfortable stay with them. Before my stay I had read reviews that stated that the AC/Fan unit was too loud, but I did not find this to be the case. This wasn't my choice, but I begrudging obliged my office. Was I surprised! Yeah, this place is way west of the Strip, but it sure is nice and quiet. The unit I had was a one bedroom king with a large living room, kitchen, laundry area, dining and patio. The bed was comfortable. It took a few minutes to figure out the water arrangement in the shower […] which is severely flow limited, but gets the job done. If you're game, you can hike to a restaurant, but you're better off taking your car. Ample parking, both covered and uncovered. I didn't have an opportunity to check our the facility amenities, but there is a pool. Finally, why do hotels insist on charging for internet access? Isn't that an entitlement already? I'd stay here again if the situation presented itself. Also, they have a shuttle bus that runs down to the strip if you're so inclined. Read more

We had no interest in staying on the Strip, as we were visiting family in the Summerlin area. The one-bedroom unit we got was an amazing surprise - very clean and newly decorated, very large and great AC (it was early July). Being off the strip has its advantages and disadvantages. (++) quiet and away from hustle and bustle (--) need to plan so as not make too many runs to sights. The furnishings were good but could be more comfortable (sectional is a hide-abed) and the kitchen could be stocked better (utensils and kitchen accessories were limited). we really enjoy our stay at the cliff at peace canyon , people are always friendly , the place is safe for the kids and the bbq's close to the pool its a plus . its a little bit off the noise of Las Vegas Blvd. ,about 10 min. by car but for us worth the trip every night to the strip , depends what you are looking for . also you have a Smith and walmart […] very close , a shopping mall and fast food places around the corner and if you want to gamble without go to far there are couple big hotel /casino at 2 or 3 minutes driving . one tip : be careful with the speed limit at Tropicana Av. there are cops everywhere . It was a great stay. Only two down sides, one far away from downtown which I think was kind of worth it. The other thing, I wasn't happy with the bed of the sofa, I wish they have had a better quality sofa in the living room. In overal it was awesome, especially if you want to cook yourself.

They advertise a shuttle gets you to the strip in 20 mins. but it's so far away that there would have to be no traffic & hit all green lights along the way. Not going to happen in this town! We absolutely loved it! We got a great rate through hotels.com and it was a nice location. We had plenty of room in the apartment and we were able to do all our laundry before we went home. The pool and the Jacuzzi was great to beat the heat of Vegas in the summer. We also took advantage of the BBQ that was on the property.

We love the Cliffs at Peace Canyon! The rooms are very nice and everything worked perfect! There is plenty of shopping and places to eat near by. The drive to the Strip was about 15 min and we never had any traffic. I love that it's close but not too close and once you were back at the resort it was very quite.

This was ideal for our family. Space to lounge with a full kitchen and comfy beds (even the hide-a-bed!) Far enough away from the Strip to get away from it fully, but just a short drive down when you want to go. The pool is perfect for kids, although certainly not big enough to swim in for exercise. We'd certainly visit again.
