Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel - Chicago

This is the most convenient hotel and large suite room. It is close to the Cumberland train...close to Dominicks for groceries ... and RELAXING with Awesome beds! There's a small frig and GREAT pool and Jacuzzi! !! Awesome accessibility for the handicapped as well!! We love staying there!!!

This hotel was just what we needed after a long nights drive from Minnesota. The beds were comfortable and the room was in great condition. Huge shower! The train is very close for easy access downtown and you can't hear it from inside the hotel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!(:

I got a great rate through the hotels.com app so I went here. It was all looked very nice. The room looked great and the shower was cool. The bed was comfortable. The only issue I had was the room smelled like body odor kind of bad. Well, the breakfast was expensive but then, I think every hotel has that issue.

Expensive parking, great staff, very helpful. The room was very large, the bathroom was lovely, great room. But there also was no surrounding stores in walking distance. The room service was very fast as well as good food, there is a Starbucks downstairs.

The hotel room was huge and we had breakfast included and it was very good! Omelette bar waffles pancakes fresh fruit..and more. Paying $24 for parking is strange seeing that its not really a busy area like downtown and there isn't another option to park anywhere even close..but other than that it was a great getaway!

Overall hotel was nice. Location was convient. Hotel was clean and nice. Staff was wonderful. Only problems we didn't like was that our sofa bed did not have sheets and that we had to pay to park at the hotel. We had a nice stay though and are likely to return again if we are in the area.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel. The room is clean and well maintained. We had some problem with the parking ticket but the service staff were nice and helped us figure it out. The only problem is that the couch is not very comfortable if you want to use it as a bed for sleep.

My family's stay at this location was very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, service was great, and the location was very convenient in relation to the Allstate Arena -- where we were attending an event for the weekend. Recommended.

Great hotel can't think of anything wrong with it except for parking. I would suggest trying to find parking on Delphia Ave. We did this and saved big bucks. There is a grocery store within walking distance which is nice. It is a bit of a drive to any of the Chicago attractions so if you're not driving this may not be the hotel for you. The service from the front desk to room service is always impeccable at the Renaissance, but the room is lacking in cleanliness. The couch was dirty as was the carpeting. Even the two tables in the middle of the floor in front of the couch were not clean. Sad to see a once beautiful hotel already run down.

We were in town to see a concert, so we had a light dinner of soup and rolls (the seafood bisque was very good, and the price was very reasonable - only about $20 with tip). The next morning we wanted just a light breakfast - an omelet, toast, and some fruit - all good but really high, […] about $38 with tip. $3 for a small half-bottle of Pepsi at the front desk was obviously way too much - the vending machine on our floor offered pretty large bottles of soda pop for $2, which was O.K., but I lost a quarter in the machine. Our king-size bed was really nice and firm, and the sheets were of a very nice texture. The seven pillows on the bed *seemed* nice, but they ended up just getting in the way because they were all plumped up and it was hard to punch one of them into a flatter shape to sleep on - I ended up with a bad crick in my neck. The TV was really difficult to use, and there were no instructions or a channel guide, so it's a good thing we could order out for a pizza when we got back from the concert. I stayed here on a layover in Chicago. It is extremely close to the airport and the shuttle runs 24/7 for the airport. The only negative is the size of the beds. The double beds in the room are tiny. There is barely any room for two people. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and modern.

My experience at this hotel was below average, but this had more to do with the staff and general attitude of the hotel management, rather than the facility itself. However, I was greeted by a rude woman who when I asked to check in stared blankly back at me. Then, She says "Alright." and types something into her computer. This takes five minutes, and […] the room had already been reserved and paid for. Then she hands me a badge that had been sitting in front of her the entire time. I then asked if it was a smoking room, and she went on a condescending rant about the hotels no smoking policy and their "commitment to bettering the environment for it's customers." I acknowledged this and went up to my room. But not before spending $25 to park my car in the adjacent garage for one night. This is the only parking available at the hotel. My room was furnished nicely and had all the amenities. It was also very clean. Again, the list of things I liked is short. The wifi service offered by the hotel costs an absurd amount. There was a bottled water on the desk with a tag labeled "Thirsty? $4" Although I've grown up with well water most of my life and consider drinking water from the tap perfectly normal, the management was not satisfied to simply offer tap water. Also the bar was run by a lazy young woman, and again, I felt overcharged. In summary, I was treated more like a rube than a customer here, and was offered nothing more than the absolute bare-minimum without additional costs. Read more

This is a great place to stay in Chicago - the station for the L is literally across the parking lot from the hotel so very convenient for getting around and to downtown easily. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The downsides are parking and wifi. This has to be one of the few hotels that still charges for internet - $12.95/day! This hotel was either very new or newly renovated. Everything was crisp, modern, clean, and worked! The hotel is 5-10 minutes from O'Hare, so very convenient for an overnight on way to/from airport. It is in a business park / neighborhood of apartments. I didn't see even a convenience store in walking distance on the drive to/from on the shuttle bus […] and couldn't tell if the Metro was within walking distance either. So no options for eating elsewhere or buying supplies, but the hotel had a very nice restaurant, food was excellent and reasonably priced (for the setting). There's also a Starbuck's in the lobby during some morning/pm for coffee and snacks. As a business traveler I enjoyed the suite design, with outer sitting room and very good desk area, fast internet wired or wireless (for a charge). Bed was comfortable. I would stay again. It may not be downtown chicago, but it was very easy to get there! One train ride. The room was wonderful and my housekeeper was GREAT!!!!!. Front desk was very helpful. Metro is right across the street and 24hours. The gym was great! The pool was great!! Perfect for me and Starbucks in the building!!

Booked this room on hotels.com for a very reasonable rate. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice.Two LCD TV'S with a fudge and separate living room space was what I needed. If you are staying for the weekend don't pay for parking at all. The hotel shares the business complex with two companies that are actually closed on the weekends […] so you can park for free and they will not tow your car. Hotel parking charges $22 a night so save that money. Great stay also had no issues with noises. Highly recommend this place. Read more
