"Very nice hotel at a very reasonable price"
The hotel looked and felt like a five star, luxury hotel. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, the hotel staff provided EXCELLENT Customer Service. They made us feel like royalty. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Chicago area.Genuine Expedia guest review

I think the Hoyle should provide shiitake service to the Allstate Arena as well as the Convention. That would have made out stay better.Genuine Expedia guest review
no thank you I would prefer not to thank you againGenuine Expedia guest review
It was comfortable and cozy. And the staff was very accommodating. It was great for the price only 15 min away from the city where everywhere else seemed over-priced!Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel Thank you for the great review! We are very lucky to have a superb location and a great staff at the hotel and I am glad it showed throughout your stay!
The room was very spacious and the staff were friendly. The restaurant and snack bar prices were high, which is normal for hotels. The furniture and carpet were a little dated, but it was a great value for the price. I would happily stay at this hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Overall pretty good. Had trouble dealing with getting parking validated. But staff were friendly and the room was clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
The stay was good. Customer Service was over and beyone the call of duty. My only problem was there was no microwave in the room or on that floor. But over all ,Great Service and Great room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

If needed a microwave is availabe for our guest to utilize at the front desk We hope you come back and visit us again soon.
"I liked that it was close to the Rosemont district"
The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but I thought with it being a suite there would be a separate living and sleeping area with a door not a half wall. The hotel's location was great. Close to amenities and the airport.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel Thank you for your comments on our friendly and helpful staff, we’re very fortunate to have such a great team. We’re sorry to hear that our rooms did not live up to your expectations during your stay. We do have two different suite options available. While we know you’ll be looking to stay somewhere else in the future, we hope you will consider staying again .
"Not at all good"
Not at all upto the mark. We can easily get better rooms for cheaper cost. $4 for a bottle of water!!! Got charged for 3 days parking when I stayed only for 2 days!! Luckily I noticed those charges in their bill. They make a business out of charging customers $12.95 per day for wireless internet when all the cheapest of the motel offer it for free. […] No microwave in the room as well!!! But wait... Best of all was getting charged for calling the room service!!! Wow!! Very poor hospitality!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Your feedback is much appreciated and very helpful in improving guest future stays. Please know that I regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. I have reviewed the portfolio of your stay and wanted to assure you that there were no charges for calling Room Service on your bill. I am sorry to hear about the over charge for your parking, but thankful that the mistake was resolved before your check out. As for your concern with the Internet charges, complimentary internet is available in our lobby area. I do hope that we will have the pleasure of you company again,
"Close to train"
The hotel is right off the train which was great for us! Hotel was clean. Pool was great they play movies in there for the kids. The bad is that Parking is over priced $24 a night :( the worst part is at some point our door broke and was not locking. As soon as we noticed they took care of it right away (1030 at night lol )Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent Hotel - great location for L Train!"
Well, first off, hotels close to the airport are always less expensive in Chicago. Furthermore, unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on parking, it makes no sense to rent a car. That's what makes this hotel the best - it has easy access to the L Train (Blue Line), which will take you right downtown for only $2.50. Can't beat that! The room was […] comfortable enough, but they don't offer rollaway beds, and that sucks for a family with kids who won't sleep in the same bed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel, your comments are extremely important to us. Having the Blue Line train stop just steps away from the hotel is an added bonus. I apologize for the miscommuniation regarding our guestrooms, each suite has a pull out sofa that can accommodate family members. We hope despite the bed issue that you will consider us again when traveling to Chicago.
A few grievances: I wasn't paying attention when I booked and didn't realize it was $25/night to park in the ramp. There isn't much in the "gift shop". Ordering a movie can be expensive: between $16-19 per movie. Didn't know that my 8-yr-old accidentally ordered a movie and didn't even watch it. Don't know if the hotel could tell the movie wasn't watched […] and possibly take it off the bill (??) but I didn't bother to say anything. However, the movie that my husband ordered was $18 and with really-really poor quality. The hotel staff was kind enough to take that off the bill. Other than those three things, the room was very nice and comfortable. My apologies to housekeeping, we didn't realize there was an extra blanket tucked in the bedroom closet for the pull-out bed/couch and kept having to take apart one of our comforters so that my son would have a blanket at night. I don't know if there were other ppl on our floor but we couldn't hear any noises. Overall, our stay was nice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was nice! It was very clean, nice set up, and very suitable for the price. It was in a very good location. Only around 30-40 minutes from downtown depending on the traffic and not a hard drive. There was also the train that was very close to the hotel. Unfortunately I did run into some problems. On their website they do not tell you about […] the $25 per night parking charge. So I was taken back by that. They also charge you a $50 incidental charge per night even if you are using a card. You get it back at the end of the stay but I would of liked to know about that charge before I booked the hotel. I looked on the website and didn't see anything that stated the parking a incidental charge. If it is on the website they need to make it more noticeable so their customers are more aware of the charges before their stay. Also, there is a charge for wifi. And the last small complaint I have is that they need better, more stocked vending machines. Overall, I would probably stay at this hotel again. It was a good price even including the parking and it was a good hotel. They just need to make the customers more aware of what they are charging them. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel near the L station"
Nice hotel clean and close to the L station. You can stay here for a fraction of the cost of a downtown hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff is nice but each time I called the front desk I was left on hold. No one ever answered my questions. That being said I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
So convenient....so comfortable....and the staff was great!!!!!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Very good but a few more services could be added"
Out stay at the hotel was fantastic. The hotel was very close to O'Hare Airport and Blue Line CTS system is just a minute's walk away. The Blue Line CTS,takes you to all prominent places in downtown Chicago. The hotel staff at hotel was courteous and extremely helpful. We needed a microwavable bowl as we were not carrying any, the hotel staff arranged […] to get it promptly. The ambience of hotel is nice. However, a few additional facilities like providing microwave in rooms (though there is one common available at front desk, which can be used 24X7) and complimentary continental breakfast could be added to the services. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who are looking a value hotel due to many advantages it has. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The service, attitude and room were very nice. The staff was very friendly and obliging. A mistake was made on my bill and the staff fixed it quickly and courteously. The room itself was comfortable, clean and for being near an airport, quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ouch!!! Beware parking n internet charges"
Hotel area very nice. Room nothing special. Requested two beds. Recvd one bed n one sofa bed. Great BUT had to climb over bed to get from one side of room to other. Internet available $12.50, Parking available $24.50. Went back to web site n there was a little "*", scanned down to a very small link re charges. Pros: short walk to blue line for access to the city, Starbucks in the lobby, great staff (I'll elaborate later) Cons: paid parking, paid wifi, nothing nearby When husband and I were packing up to leave we could not find his iPad. After tearing up the room we were convinced someone entered while we were out and stole it. Two staff (manager and security?) […] came to our room to take down a report. The manager was looking around the room to try to find it. At no time did they doubt us, they just were trying to remedy the situation. The manager found the iPad stuck in the bars of the pull out bed. We had pulled out the bed twice and didn't find it. They were both polite and so helpful. Top notch. "Beautiful suite for an unbeatable price!"
We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for getting to airport next morning which was our main purpose. The suite was good for me packing my bags & a little celebration. Thanks again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was nice but a pretty good distance away from the city. It wasn't so bad if you weren't out too late, but it did take about 20-30 to get into the heart of Chicago. The room was very spacious but there was not much of a view. For a long trip out into Chicago it was a good price, but you had to plan out your days so that you could slowly make […] your way into the city. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"My experience was great"
The stay was good just did not lke the idea of walking alot after a long night of having fun due to high rates in parking. but overall the I enjoyed my stayGenuine Expedia guest review
It was a fantastic romantic getaway for me and my beloved wife. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous. The breakfast buffet was AWESOME! Each morning that we were at the Renaissance Hotel the fruit was fresh and sweet to the taste. The one and only compliant was that the parking fee was expensive. But we understood why the parking […] was so much each day ($24 dollars). We felt as if it should have been one flat rate for guest staying at the hotel. One thing that was wonderful was the cleanliness of the suite, the bed was comfortable, but the shower could use a little make over. The water does link out on the floor in one corner of the shower. The sofa bed does need to be replaced. The cushions are flat and real uncomfortable to sit on when you are watching T.V. Overall, it was a nice place to getaway from your day-to-day life. "not the bargain it looks like"
Offers highly competitive rates online, but when you get there you will find yourself stuck with surcharges for internet ($12.95/day) and parking ($24/day). This is a good quality business hotel, and it's an easy walk to blue line station (Cumberland). Going downtown takes 40-50 minutes by the el. Those are points in favor. "Room description was misleading."
We booked the rooms to attend a convention at the Rosemont convention center. The center has ample parking around so there was no problem driving five minutes from the hotel. However the suits that we booked were supposed to be two rooms, a bedroom and a living room. In reality there was no separating wall between the bedroom and the living room. Otherwise […] the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We did not eat in the hotel or order any room service, so I cannot comment on that. But it is a perfect alternative to staying in expensive hotels if you are also going to attend any conventions. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Conveniently close to the convention center"
I booked and paid for King Sized bed which was given away to other guest - imagine being late catching your plane and then arriving late to your destination to have your bed given away to another guest. Nice stay .... but no free WiFi which I think is antiquated being the new age of everything is technology related. Also no free parking to the point of $24/day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We picked this hotel because of it's close proximity to the O'Hare Airport. It was a nice hotel and the room we received had a separate bedroom and living room area. It was very clean and well kept. The restaurant in the lobby was also quite good. The shuttle to the airport was convenient. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The biggest problem with the hotel pass that it is inconvenient and expensive for this area of Chicago.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My mother and me were visiting Chicago for the first time and we booked the Renaissance Hotel along with our flight because they had great reviews. The staff were very friendly and professional which made our experience even more pleasing. The beds, oh the beds were so comfortable we were tempted to take the pillows, lol. Our trip was amazing and staying […] at the Renaissance made it even more special.I would definitely recommend a friend and whenever we decide to visit Chicago again we would most definitely stay at the Renaissance Hotel. "Look out for parking."
Overall the hotel was nice, but I am glad I didn't pay the full price. We didn't have any issues with service or cleanliness. My wife was quite happy with the exercise room. The location was attractive at first, but the actual logistics of getting in and out became cumbersome. Some of this was due to the never-ending construction in Chicago, but streets […] are still not marked very well and there are only a couple of signs directing you to the hotel. The front desk with offer to "validate" your parking for the garage. When they say validate, they really mean they are charging it to your room. At $25 for overnight parking, its a bit of scam to me. I expect when someone tells me they are validating my parking, they mean I don't have to pay for it at all. Unless you absolutely have to park your vehicle inside, I would recommend parking in one of the neighboring surface lots for free. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Very nice modern property at a very attractive price for Chicago. Restaurant is good for a hotel but that isn't saying much. Walk to the other side of the "L" station for much better breakfast/lunch. I will return again and again. Clean, spacious room with an awesome bathroom and very, very comfortable bed. Easy access to the L to the City. All this very reasonably priced. A real gem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was great about the hotel. Just note that parking is $24/day and internet is $12/day--unless you want to go to the lobby. Other than that, a very nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel, Not bad Location"
Got to the Hotel around 2:30 AM, and was able to check in very quickly. The staff was very nice, and the hotel was very nice. Parking is kind of expensive, $24.00 per day, and it is added to your bill. I loved that there was no one else at the Pool when we were there, and they were showing kid friendly movies on the wall next to the pool. They had […] a great workout facility, and dry sauna. Very happy with the hotel! Takes about 40 minutes riding the train to get to Wrigley, and less than that downtown. This hotel seems to be in an okay area of town, we never felt uncomfortable walking to the train, or riding the train. Everyone was super nice everywhere we went! Price to park should be noted or a warning should be posted in the rates or somewhere within the booking process. Customer service was poor upon arrival.
