The Grand Lodge Crested Butte has an indoor/outdoor heated pool and outdoor spa tub. There is also a fitness room where free weights and cardiovascular and strength-training equipment are available.

everything was "just right". We enjoyed the spacious room and the kitchenette facilities. My only disappointment was that the complimentary one ride lift ticket was not available on reservations not made directly through the hotel. There were ads all over town about get your free lift ticket when you stay with us, but when we inquired it was a "oh, that doesn't apply to you" situation. If we'd paid a discount rate I'd understand, but I know we paid the same as the direct rate at the time of the reservation and in fact a higher rate than the advertisted rate at the time. Not a big deal, but a little bit annoying.

I stayed at this hotel hoping to take advantage of the kitchenette to cook all of my meals. It was difficult to do so because the kitchenette was poorly stocked. But ...although it's frustrating...if you are looking to save money by cooking your meals, this hotel is probably the best bargain in the area. Also, there are no windows in the bedrooms. Found it hard to sleep, although there was a ceiling fan. All the windows are in the living/kitchenette area which is down a long hall from the bedroom. It thought it was a very odd layout for a hotel room.

Good location with only steps to the town shuttle and just a bit furthur to the slopes. The restaurant was excellent and all the staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the hot tub as well.

We loved where the hotel was-walk out and hit the lift office. Said they were dog friendly though and it was a non refundable $30 per pet/per night fee. That is misleading and unnecessary. Room was nice but very small esp. with ski/snowboard equipment. LOVED Crested Butte and the whole trip. Also, stop for free shuttle right outside of the hotel to go in town every 15 minutes on the nose. Staff was wonderful.

CB is worth the trip we went there with the family (2kids 3 and 5) and we loved it. the location is great - walking distance to the lifts, shops, skirental, restaurants! realy nice people - we come back next year!!!

I would reccomend this hotel to anyone intending to stay in Crested Butte, the hotel itself is very nice. Our destination was not Crested Butte, but were made to think it was closer to our destination of Aspen than it really was, which caused a miserable 7 hour daily commute on our vacation.

The hotel was very nice and we very much enjoyed our stay. We came in the summer to mountain bike and were not allowed to bring the bikes into the rooms. Bring a bike lock!

We really liked the location of the Grand Lodge since it was in front of the Transporation center and a very short walk to the lift. We also liked the Ski Valet service since they took your skis to the base and at the end of the day you can drop them off at the same location.

Great Hotel, Friendly Staff, Close proximity to slopes for the price.

We spent the weekend skiing the butte- the grand lodge was perfect. Given the price (pretty cheap) we were surprised by how nice this place is. The town shuttle [nicknamed the drunk bus] makes getting around town a snap. Would recommend this hotel.

We arrived late, and found that their computers were down. I gave them a copy of my hotels.com reservation, and they upgraded my room, with a complimentary breakfast buffet with their apologies for the inconvenience. Very nice staff. They do have a few electrical problems (lights and TV in sitting area did not work - they changed our room)
