Kind of off the beaten track, but it was comfortable. I've stayed in the area before and was not satisfied recently. This is a nice place. Internet connectivity not the greatest, but it did work.

The room I was assigned was well furnished, very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was quiet and gave an appearance of being safe. While there were several truckers staying at this hotel or the one adjacent to the Super 8, I heard no truck noise. I would definetely stay there again should the need arise. The staff had a very friendly attitude both on checking in with one shift on duty and checking out with another shift on.

The bed of the first room we checked into was covered with little black ants. When I called the desk, they said, "Okay, come get another key." I lugged all my stuff and my two children down to my car (which was closer than the office) only to be given a key for a room two doors down from the first (and also upstairs). I went to check out the room. It appeared okay, besides being wicked hot, because the A/C had been left off (same was true with the first room). I went back down to get all our stuff from the car and lugged it back upstairs only to find the hotel clerk up there. She asked if the new room was okay. I told her that it appeared to be, but I was annoyed that she hadn't just brought the key up in the first place, so I wouldn't have had to lug all our stuff up and down the stairs. She just said, "Oh, sorry." That's it. The breakfast was all bread (danishes, bagels, oatmeal), so we checked out first thing in the a.m. and got the heck out of Dodge.

The location was very good. The service was great, as I arrived after midnight and received very prompt service. The manager went out of his way to be helpful. I chose this hotel because of location and because it was given such a high rating by others for its price. I concur with that high rating.

This was one of the best rooms I have stayed in. The room was very clean and well kept, and the hotel was immaculately clean. It was easy to find and get to and had no problems finding it despite having no knowledge of the area. The air conditioning was great (a typical sore spot in many hotels). If I had to make a complaint about the room: The TV remote control ON button did not work. Had to get up to turn it off/on. No big deal. There was the sound of a distant train blowing its horn at 2am and 4am. But perhaps the only reason I heard it was because I couldn't sleep. Extremely light sleepers may get woken up. Overall I would recommend the room and I will likely stay there again should I need to travel to Houston.

Most people do not think of Super 8 as a top quality Hotel......This one was the best Super 8 i have ever stayed in. I would truly reccommend this hotel if you want a very restful sleep, extremely nice upscale area without the crime and the best value for the dollar.....without a doubt, i will stay there without hesitation again and again......

Make no mistake, this is an average low level (two star) motel. Other ratings are too high. Linens are changed daily for extended stay. Blankets are new; sheets are clean but have some spotting; towels are old, worn and spotted although they give you one decent one. Super sweet odor in rooms is objectionable.

This hotel is a surprise, as the rooms are nice and large with a couch. A hotel of this nature usually doesn't have that kind of space. Also, Fry's electronics is about a mile away for those who like to visit those kind of places.
