"Best first honeymoon stop"
It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast, so we really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. But the inn keeper was extremely nice, we had a beautiful room with a fireplace. It was a wonderful experience being able to sit next to the fireplace with your loved one all night without a tv just talking and growing closer and closer […] to each other! You wake up to a wonderful aroma of fresh coffee and a home cooked breakfast waiting for your arrival at the dining table. She is an amazing cook, and an amazing inn keeper. We'd recommend this place to anyone! You will absolutely love it!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cozy, Friendly and Great Breakfast"
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and it was nice to meet other people staying at the inn. The room was cozy, relaxing, and within walking distance to everything. The only problem I had is that I could hear street traffic that started at 5am, so it was hard to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Christine, the Inn Keeper was the Bomb! She made our stay wonderful. The B&B was fine inside, and cozy; outside lacked the appearence of maintanence. However, I think you'll enjoy as ours was restful, yet near the recreation we sought. YAY!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Christine should be a chef!"
We were very pleased. I was in class all day. The 8:15 breakfast was perfectly timed and executed. The room was clean. Christine tries very hard to accommodate you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved this place! Wonderful service, very kind owner and hostess met us with a smile and upgraded our room when she saw how tall my husband was! Excellent breakfast was served in a comfy dining room. Bed was very comfortable, nice shower, room was spacious and nicely decorated. Great location near downtown. Would definately stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fort Bragg in April - beer, food, beach"
Great B&B experience - lovely hostess, tasty home-made food, plenty of hospitality and charm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We could not have been more pleased! The room was absolutely charming and the breakfast offerings were absolutely 5 star! Christine was gracious and attentive, we are couldn't ask for more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Such a cute B & B! We had a sweet room with dormer windows and all the rooms have their own bathroom. It was walking distance to Glass Beach, and an even shorter distance to downtown where we ate dinner at a cafe and enjoyed local musicians playing jazz/bluegrass. The breakfast was amazing! Poached eggs over fresh asparagus with perfect red potato home […] fries and hearty bread and jam. Delicious! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I was extremely disappointed to pull up and find out this was a bed and breakfast. This was not said in the description. Although the room was decent inside, it was noisy. The outside is pretty run down. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, you might want to find a different hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for visiting North Coast Brewery"
The location of the Country Inn is perfect for what I wanted. I came to Fort Bragg to visit North Coast Brewery (in addition to a few other places) so I looked for a place to stay nearby. This place isn't just nearby, it's a 2 minute way away. As for the place... the rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The common area was very pleasant with […] a fireplace that was going when we came in. There were also chocolates and popcorn to snack on. And then breakfast was a nice change of pace from the buffet style chain hotel breakfast. We had bananas foster french toast with scrambled eggs, bacon, orange juice and coffee. Maybe the richest breakfast of my life, but really, really good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"cozy and comfortable"
We found our room at this B&B to be clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were graciously greeted and made to feel at home. It is a smaller Victorian "cottage" but we were still very pleased with the place. I was a little surprised that there was no TV (or phone) in the room, but that proved to be a sweet benefit adding to the peace and restfulness […] of the place. The breakfasts are great, beautifully served in a charming front room. The B&B is located on the main street in Fort Bragg but the traffic noise was not an issue for us. We found this location to be advantageous since we were exploring up and down the Mendocino coast. Yes, we will return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place with an Excellent Breakfast"
We spent four nights at the County Inn in Ft Bragg. It was convenient to all the state parks and attractions of the beautiful Mendocino Coast. The big surprise were the elegent breakfasts prepared for us each morning. Overall an excellent value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was great. We would recommend to friends and would stay here again in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We spent one night at this Inn, then two nights at a large Hotel in mendocino, with an ocean view. I wish we had spent all three nights at this Inn. I thought the outside was not especially inviting, but inside It was quite lovely and well maintained. The new owner was very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. "Convenient for visiting family in Fort Bragg"
Very comfortable, clean with cheerful Victorian setting and reasonable rates. Rated only 4 overall as we haven't stayed in a B&B before and have no frame of reference.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice B&B in Fort Bragg. The room was pleasant, even if small and the bed was comfortable. The B&B was wired for wi-fi which was convenient. The hot tub out back was an added luxury. Would choose to stay here again if in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
amazing gourmet breakfast, the Hostess Cindy was very warm and helpful with information , the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our toilet didn't work well. The attendent left for dinner...I didn't know she would be back because she didn't leave a note on her door. We thus didn't have use of the toilet throughout the night. No TV, No shower. The salts jar for the bath tub was empty. The breakfast was excellent...not much protein. Probably would notBT stay again at this pric […] e. "A comfortable-hospitable-well located-cozy place"
We had a lovely time here. The manager was very kind and hospitable. She keeps a very clean house. The house is a little old fashioned, but that is what we love about bed and breakfasts. For breakfast we had a delicious Chile Relleno style frittata and a cup of fruit with yogurt and granola. We were walking distance to the downtown area and she had […] great deals and coupons for guests to use at local places like the Botanical Gardens (which we highly recommend), mini golf, etc. Our room was Granny's Attic, it was small with its own bathroom. The house is two stories and we didn't hear a peep from the other guests. There is also a hot tub for guests to use which is clean and relaxing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Staying at Country Inn"
We enjoyed our stay. The hostess/owner was pleaseant, and helpful. The room was comfrtable. Although everthing was clean, one of the bath towels was torn and the shawer matt was moldy (multiple black spots).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Cozy Little Retreat"
We enjoyed our recent stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. Cynthia was pleasant and knew where to go for a good meal. The breakfasts were not your standard fare but very good, too. All in all, we were happy to have found the place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This is a charming B&B. The bed was comfortable and the owner very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Had a relaxing stay at the Country Inn. Great position to walk to downtown Fort Bragg and to the Glass Beach. Convivial atmosphere over breakfast with other guests; the breakfasts were worthy of mention in their own right. Delicious, varied and filling. Made use of the hot tub too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Old fashioned charm"
The Inn is an older style accommodation but is quaint and scrupulously clean and comfortable. We found the owners to be very polite and helpful and the free cookies and wine in the evening was a nice touch. The cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent. We thoroughly recommend this Inn.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Getaway Location!"

Wonderful B&B! Great location within walking distance of downtown shopping, restaurants, Skunk Train, trails and Glass Beach. Christine works very hard to make your stay pleasurable. Her mother is warm & friendly and Reilly the dog is adorable. There is parking behind the house and on the street. There is a common area and it was beautifully decorated for the holidays which added to the warm ambiance. Autumn Song had a comfortable bed, private bath & wood burning fireplace as well as hot air conventional heating. Christine is an excellent cook. She had tasty cookies waiting in the common area. Her breakfasts were amazingly delicious and plentiful! It's the best accommodation in Fort Bragg.

I had never stayed in a B&B before but I am a great fan of B&B mysteries. So on a cold rainy weekend I visited The Country Inn and it was a wonderful experience. My room was comfortable, cozy and quaint. My welcome was warm and genuine. Breakfasts were so delicious that I could have easily been talked into staying a day or two longer just to see what would be served next. The best part was that it was just what I had imagined a B&B to be..... Except without the mystery and dead bodies!!!!
"We love the downtown location."

Christine and her 'small but dedicated staff' made us feel right at home. The common room was cozy and inviting. We stayed in the Autumn Song room, it had a nice fireplace and private bathroom. We are regulars to the Fort Bragg area but had never stayed in the city. The only negative I have... is that you get a bit of car noise being close to HWY 1, but this is offset by its close proximity to downtown. Live Long & Prosper.
Great location! Christine and her mother very gracious and welcoming. The breakfast is outstanding, very yummy!! Rooms comfortable, had a great night sleep and the fireplace made it so cozy and romantic. You won't be disappointed, I would recommend this B & B.
"Comfortable, cozy B&B"

This place was really cozy, and the stay was a total delight. We had such a quiet, relaxing vacation and felt really refreshed afterwards. The breakfasts were particularly awesome, especially considering Christine made me 100% gluten-free breakfasts each morning (including fresh-made amazing pancakes!) The fireplace was a nice bonus, too, even if it wasn't for warmth just for ambiance. (plus the in-room heater was totally adequate)
"warm and home-like"

We had 2 evenings at the Country Inn B & B recently. Enjoyed the comfortable home-like atmosphere. Christine and her husband were friendly. Great breakfasts - including one which we requested be made for an earlier departure. We enjoyed getting to know the other people who were staying at the Inn with us.

Real cute B&B Christine, the innkeeper, was a great host. We stayed for 2 nights (upstairs in the Granny's Attic room). B&B is close to North Coast Brewery and also the Skunk Train. Both are a walk away. Try the place and you will not be disappointed.

If you are in Fort Bragg (CA), this is a great B&B. We stayed in the Pomo Sunrise room. It was small but adequate and very quite. We knew we would be late arriving so we called ahead and Christine was waiting for us. Breakfast both days was great and the conversation with the other guests was interesting. This B&B is close to restaurants and within walking distance to the local attraction, the Skunk Train.
"Can't wait to come back!"

So welcoming and super friendly. We haven't even left yet Mine were a bit spicy last time. T didn't notice. He can live on beans I can't wait to come back here. The location is perfect for walking to town or to the beach. The breakfast is amazing!

Christine greeted us at the door with speedy check in and a short tour. Our room, Granny's Attic was charming and cozy. Best of all was the very comfy bed with sumptuous linens. Room was very quiet with only occasional soft swish of a truck. Walking distance to every where we wanted to go. Breakfast was amazing and very filling. More of a brunch as it held us till dinner. Only recommendation is bring your own pillows if your fussy. We did so we were happy.
