Very well located and adjacent to three other Jumeirah properties, Al Qasr provides a taste of traditional Arabian hospitality (somewhat Disneylandesque) in a very resort-like environment full of amenities. Very comfortable, clean and with excellent service. Amazing beach front and very relaxing atmosphere overall.

We arrived early in the morning 6 am and were able to go straight to our room which was much appreciated. The hotel room was spacious, with a lovely view out to sea, and had a balcony to sit out on. The service is impeccable, everyone is very friendly and helpful. There are so many restaurants to choose from. We ate at the pool, Trader Vic's and Pierchic. […] I could not fault any of them and usually I'm known to be quite a food critic. We had the degustation menu at Pierchic and it was definitely the way to go as great value for money at lunchtime. Free access to wild wadi water theme park is an added bonus bad the souk shopping area means you really don't need to leave the place and everyone is catered for. Fantastic, will be back. Really a top class hotel, on the main beach and a stone's throw away from the Burj Al Arab, where I'd recommend cocktails one night (you have to book first). Sundowner desert jeep safari also good. Cabs are cheap. Temperatures are too hot in summer.

Wir kannten das Hotel schon von der Zeit, in der wir dort lebten; das eine oder andere Restaurant kannten wir bereits. Umso mehr waren wir erfüllt von der tollen Atmosphäre dort und der vielen Möglichkeiten. Ideal auch für Kinder - wer es sich leisten kann. Im Großen und Ganzen braucht man einen großes Urlaubsbudget - aber es lohnt sich.

Из всего комплекса Madinat на мой взгляд с самой зеленой (не считая комплекс вилл) и просторной территорией. Очень чистый и большой пляж. Отличные рестораны с безупречным сервисом и кухней. Für eine Woche ist Dubai eine grossartige Destination mit nur 6 Stunden Flug ab der Schweiz. Und das Hotel Al Qasr ist mit der riesigen Anlage, welche 4 Hotels umfasst und einen eigenen Souk (Mark mit Restaurants) verfügt einfach prima. Das Zimmer hatte ein riesiges Bett und unsere Sicht über die Anlage bis zum Strand war fantastisch. Das Hotel selbst […] war sehr grosszügig sowohl von den räumlichen Verhältnissen wie auch von der Ausstattung her. Man kann sich regelrecht verirren. Der Strand war umwerfend und trotz vieler Liegen bekam man nie den Eindruck einer Massenanlage. Ideal ist es auch, da die Fahrzeit vom und zum Flughafen gerate einmal 20 - 30 Minuten dauert (je nach Tageszeit). Einzig die elektrischen Anschlüsse gaben mit Wackelkontakten und der Steckerform etwas "arbeit". Unbedingt einen passenden Adapter mitnehmen. Im Notfall kriegt man einen solchen aber auch an der Rezeption. Beim Empfang war die verantwortliche Person zwar etwas sehr zacking, liegt aber an der individuellen Persönlichkeit und weniger am Hotel. Rundum eine Empfehlung wert. Read more

Ich bin nun das achte Mail in Dubai gewesen und habe bisher das Park Hyatt, die Emirates Towers, das Ritz Carlton (Marina) und das The Address (Downtown Dubai) ausprobiert. Das Al Qasr hat alle Hotels bei weitem getoppt. Das Hotel ist im Madinat Jumeirah, einer Mischung aus Venedi, arabischer Stadt und Marina-Feeling zu Fuße des Burj Al Arbabs. Das […] Hotel in Toplage direkt am Strand, die Anlage überstreckt sich über mehrere Kilometer. Innerhalb des Madinats wird man mit Abras, das sind Dubai-typische Boote, auf kilomoterlangen Wasserwegen rund um die Uhr chauffiert. Wer nicht fahren will, nimmt ein Golfbuggy, oder setzt einfach einen Fuß vor den anderen. Am Strand sind Handtücher, Obst, Eis und kalte Tücher inklusive. Das Wasser ist tipp-topp sauber und man kann kilomoterweit den Strand entlang laufen. Das Hotel selber ist top, der Stil ist arabisch - modern und passt einfach gut dahin. Essen ist tipp topp. Internet ist in der gesamten Madinat-Anlage bis zum Strand kostenlos und in bester Netzabdeckung verfügbar. Essen: Wer ausgiebig speisen möchte, sollte sich Frühstück oder Halbpension buchen. Ein derart gutes Buffet habe ich noch nirgendwo anders erlbet. Das Schöne ist, dass es dort nicht Massen gibt, sondern von allem immer ein paar Portionen - dahinter stehen dann Mitarbeiter und bereiten den Nachschub live vor. Ich selber habe mir nur Frühstück gebucht und esse sonst im Madinat (unzählige Restaurants) oder in einer der Malls. Read more
