Nice clean room. Value matches the price. Room was small. Great location on the Piccadilly line which goes to Heathrow. Certainly not a full service hotel. Breakfasts were just okay-cold cereal, some meats, cheese and toast. I would stay there again.

I stayed here because my flight home was canceled for two days. I chose it because it claimed to have free wifi, which it did, sort of. I was only staying on the first floor, but the signal was very weak and varied greatly based on where I stood in the room. (The bathroom got the best signal.) So if you NEED wifi, this isn't going to do it for you. […] But it has a perfectly sized room, decent enough bed, and TV. The Blackbird just up the street is a nice pub with a good selection of pies. There's also an M&S Food (grocery) at the end of the street, with an Oddbins (wine) right next door. The hotel is easy to get to from Heathrow, with the Earl's Court station 2 minutes from hotel. When questioning one staff member about the Express Train to the airport, he didn't know a thing about it, the other desk person said only one cab company came to the hotel~it was 15 pounds more than the one I found myself on~line. The room was like a 70's dorm room , the towls worn thin and a leaky toilet that was not repaired, but the towl to catch the water was. Good hotel with great location for a decent price. Good breakfast. Very nice hotel staff. A few small problems. Not a big deal but really should be fixed. One water faucet in bathroom coming off. Bedroom is pretty nice but would be a lot better if bed was updated so it has a modern look. The bed blanket is getting too many stains and should be changed […] to a newer one. Even the bed should be changed in that room because it is faded. Shower has some mold. These problems sound gross but it really is an okay hotel. I don't understand why the owners don't spend just a little money to fix the small problems. Mold can be cleaned, faucet can be changed or fixed for probably little money. The first room they gave us was perfectly fine, but I could not connect to the wifi from the room and when I asked if I needed a password they said that that room probably wouldn't get a signal and if I needed the wifi I could change to another. I needed to get a little work done, so we agreed to change, and WOW, glad we did, our 2nd room was WAY nicer, […] had not one, but TWO balconies and a bigger bathroom. The downside, was that there was a hostel across the street and there was a bit of street noise, but in the morning with the sun streaming through the windows it was simply beautiful. This hotel has access to the Earl's Court Tube stop. An easy transition to multiple parts of London. I wouldn't however recommend this hotel. First off, there is no elevator. My wife and I had a room on the 7th floor. After sweating and struggling to carry all of the luggage up 7 stories we realized the room had no A/C. We had two rooms and wouldn't you know they would be the top two rooms in the hotel. This hotel did not have an elevator and it was 53 steps or 8 flights to get to our room. When we did finally get to the room it was definietly in need of updating and a good cleaning. The bath room had an old hair dryer with the hose hanging off the wall that was cracked […] and non-functional. The shower stall had mold on the walls and on the outside of the stall as well. The TV was in need of replacing as well. Too small and no remote control. We stayed for five nights and wished every night we were somewhere else. Staff was nice, but that did not make up for the quality of the room. 3 stars, I don't think so, maybe 1. Our second room was the top room, when they got there they had a flat screen tv, but no fan. Old fashioned hotel which I would say caters more for European travellers. After being asked by the Russian receptionist if I was German (?) we were informed that despite the fact we ordered a twin room they did not have one available so a camp bed was put in a double room for us. Hairdryer in the bathroom was broken but one was available at reception. […] The bedroom interior was very tired and required updating but both it and en suite bathroom were clean. Not the best place I have stayed in that area. Had Room 19 which is on the top floor. Room was clean but needs a bit of updating. Bed cover was faded and carpet is worn in parts. The window rattles and as it was windy didn't help for a good nights sleep. The curtains didnt fit the length of the window either. There was no hairdryer provided. Hotel states […] WiFi but it works intermittently in one part of that room. The receptionist (male with glasses) was not particularly helpful or friendly - a smile would have been nice. The B&B was clean enough. It is quite worn in places and so has a lot of 'character'. The decoration involved a lot of florals - which makes it feel like an old lady's home. Duvet (floral) and rug had visible stains although not necessarily dirty. There was a crack on the bathroom tiles. The water pressure was not great at all. Wi-Fi was similarly […] weak. Breakfast was basic but okay to grab a quick bite before heading out for the day. Staff were quite helpful and pleasant. I stayed for three nights. While the stay was not unpleasant, especially for the price paid, I would not stay again unless in a really tight pinch. Some refurbishment would be in order. Overall good small hotel overlooking the quiet Barkston Gardens near Earls Court railway station on Heathrow Airport line and Circle Line for central London access. Der var rent og pænt, det var bare ikke til at se da det var meget misvedligeholdt. Receptionisterne, og morgenmads-damerne var rigtig flinke - men alting er meget mangelfuldt. Отель очень удобно расположен, если прилетаешь в Хитроу, он по той же ветке метро, причём от метро Earls' Court идти до отеля пару минут. Внутри всё достаточно просто, но чисто и практично. В номере есть чайник, телевизор, и wi-fi (работает как в любом отеле не очень стабильно, но чаще работает). Отель небольшой, по несколько номеров на этаже, но этажей […] штук пять. Лифта нет, для кого-то может быть критично, мне всё равно было. На завтрак всегда одно и тоже было, но в принципе вкусно. Вообщем за относительно небольшие деньги в центре и так удобно расположенный отель, мне понравилось. Единственное что wi-fi мог бы быть более надёжным. Read more

Hotellet ligger bra till om man kommer från Heathrow. Tunnelbana till Earls Court och ett par hundra meters promenad. Liksom för många andra gamla hotell är det branta trappor utan hiss. Det var bra storlek på rummet och hyfsat fräscht. Frukosten är ganska enkel, kanske trevligare att gå till närbelägna pubar eller kaffekedjor för frukost.
