I only spent one night at the Carriage House, but I wish I had had more time to spend there. The host and hostess were very welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast was gourmet delicious, and I enjoyed the quaint, old-world atmosphere of the place. One block from the shore, and a short distance to stores and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it.

a lovely B&B very close to Ocean Grove Beach and a short drive to Asbury Park. breakfast was wonderful as were the hosts. would definitely recommend.

The owners make you feel like family. The place is beautiful. I had to leave earlier then breakfast was served and she still fixed me a beautiful breakfast. I will definately stay there again.

Phil and Kathy are fine hosts and made us feel welcome in our all-too-brief return to our former Ocean Grove neighborhood. The room was comfortable. It was arguably a bit small but I imagine that's typical for B&Bs at the shore.

We had a lovely romantic weekend at the Carriage House. The owners were helpful and cordial, the place was charming. We would definitely return for another weekend get-away.

We loved our stay at the Carriage House. The Inn is beautifully restored with modern touches like the bathroom fixtures but still all keeping with a charming victorian decor. A few tiny cut corners that I think they should fix: toiletries in the bathroom. there was only soap and there was no shampoo or hairdryer. Perhaps real flowers rather than fake in the dining area and also more attention from the staff at breakfast. It was kind of 'get it from the fridge yourself'-style for condiments and milk, etc, though breakfast was delicious and the innkeepers were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

"Great place to stay while exploring the NJ shore"

Charming town of Ocean Grove, linked to Asbury Park by a beautiful boardwalk. Relaxing atmosphere. Very nice rooms at the B&B, some with partial seaview. Very stylish breakfast room, nice buffet. Use of microwave and fridge possible. Additional drinks, soda's for just $1. Great hideout to explore the NJ shore !!
