"Right in the beach"
We enjoyed our vacation. The weather was in the 60's so the heated pool and hot tubs with a beach view came in handy! The location is perfect - on the prom, a few steps from the beach and broadway street which is the Main Street with shops, restaurants, and activities for the kids. The resort also has a workout room and lounge/arcade area. Friendly, […] helpful staff. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Big, comfy rooms, great location"
Great place to stay in Seaside. Keep in mind it is a timeshare though, even if you book here. This meant no daily housekeeping but everything else was as expected. We had a room overlooking the pool which was very loud beginning at 7am with kids yelling, keep that in mind when booking. Great views of pool and ocean though. Well appointed suites, comfy […] to hang in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"great place to stay"
Rooms are very comforting and clean, you find everything you need in the kitchen to fix a quick breakfast or lunch, the living room has the fireplace where you can relax and let your stress melt away... you can hear the ocean... all good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Do not book this hotel with Hotel.com"
My whole transaction was a disaster booking with hotel.com and started by reserving this hotel. I was called 2 days later stating this hotel was no longer available. No explanation, a sorry that didn't sound sincere and a charge that I had to argue for a week to get back. I can't tell you anything about the hotel but hotel.com seems to think I still […] stayed there.... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Qualified! Only one week before leaving, we were told the hotel was overbooked. We had booked in mid-July and had a receipt, confirmed and paid for, that had guaranteed us all a much needed break from our son's fifth year of chemo treatments. This mix-up was a hard stumbling block to take. However, Nola, of Hotels.com and Tim, agent for the Time share […] condo, worked hard to help us. As it turned out, my son's energy held for the week and the weather (forecasted to be a week of steady rain) was great. The upgraded room was very well appointed, clean, with an enviable view, and all in all, it was just as lovely as we had planned for, with the addition of an even greater view. A big Thank you to all those involved. The accommodations and service were lovely. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, nice property"
11/13/14 ajnuff Rigby, Idaho
You can't beat the location of this property, right on Broadway and the promenade, literally right on the beach. As we stayed in November in a rather cold time, the two outdoor spas were nice to relax in. The main pool was also heated, but not enough to be warm with the cool weather. The room we had was a spacious 3-bedroom unit, with nice amenities, clean and functional. Not much of a view as we were on the north side and looked at the wall of the Shilo Inn across the street. Parking in the adjacent garage was plentiful and easy, but a bit of a walk if your room is closer to the beach.
"Nice weekend turned into nightmare"
We have stayed here many times before, bUT will not be back. They are doing construction starting at 9:00 in the morning on Sunday which can be heard in every room. They did not give any warning about the noise, when I called the first time they said it would finish at 1, after it past 2:00 I went down to the desk and they said it will stop when they are done. There is absolutely no concern about their guests or their experience. Absolutely hate this location
"Nice, well maintained property."

We have a three bedroom deluxe. The room is nice and appears to have been updated. Master faces pool/ and we have a south ocean view. Other two rooms are inside with small windows facing pool. Check in was fairly painless. Welcome desk asked if I wanted to do an owner update and I replied “No Thank You” and I added “I really appreciate you not pressuring me about it”. The lady was very nice and wrote next to my name “do not disturb” which she explained that we would not get hassled in our room by WM employees wanting us to do an update. It worked for the first day then we got called. I explained “No thank you” and then unplugged my phones in my room. I had also booked a one bed deluxe for my adult son and his GF to come. I have the room in my name yet, front desk made me put a $100 deposit on the room. I then proceeded to get a parking pass for my son (I text him and got his license plate number). I’ll be darned if they refused to give me a parking pass for my son explaining he had to be present with a drivers license (remember the room is in my name and, front desk gave me keys to this room). I tried to reason with the guys but, “No, we need to see your son in person to issue him a parking pass. My son arrived and I met him downstairs with his keys. We then proceeded to get the parking pass”. I quickly found out that the whole thing about seeing his driver’s license was to pressure him into an owner presentation! The guy at the desk even had the nerve to ask my son's GF “Are you two living together”? “Do you both have jobs”! For a parking pass? I almost lost it. My son got his parking pass after 15 minutes of explaining to the people he did not want to go to an owner presentation! Talk about being held hostage!!!! If there is a next time at this resort, I am not going to even bother getting a parking pass. Why go through the harassment? Your room key gives you access to the parking garage. When you check in, they ask for your license number and front desk puts that on your registration form. The resort is nice. Besides the aggressive sales staff, I have two major complaints. 1) There is a ton of owners here with their dogs. Little dogs, big dogs, teeny tiny, yippy yappy dogs. All with their little vests saying they are “service dogs” although it seems as no two “service dog vests” are alike in color or style. The well behaved dogs have a professional looking vest on. The wild or untrained dogs are wearing vests that look homemade I realize that some of these dogs may actually be service dogs with proper paperwork. I wish WM would ask for proof of the majority of owners here with dogs that to my eye, are not service dogs but owners just sneaking their pets through a loop hole in the rules. I have two dogs I left at home that would love to go with me to the ocean. However, I like the fact that WM is supposed to be animal free. I don't like to think about having a room that an animal went to the bathroom on the carpet or slept on the couch. 2) Our 5th floor room over looks the pool and we can see the ocean to the south. I left my windows open all night and just before 7am , the sound of screaming kids emanated from the pool and hot tub. I had thought at one time that the pool was closed at all WM resorts until 9am. Obviously this is not the case here and staff does nothing to police their own rules.
"Very nice facility, perfect location!"

We were invited by friends to stay at their timeshare here, it was a really nice hotel on a perfect location right on the beach and close to the main street. We had a balcony with view of the ocean and sunset! The outdoor pool area is spacious and the rooms we had were updated, very modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, we really enjoy our time there. Highly recommended if you plan to visit Seaside.
"Location is everything at this place"

Have had good experiences at this place in Seaside before - this time was somehere below mediocre. Started on check-in. To get your parking permit you have to go stand in a seond line after you have checked in - so they can try (very hard) to sign you up for a timeshare presentation. Even after I said very clearly no-thanks, it took almost ten minutes to get a piece of paper to hang from the mirror. The parking garage has key-card access, so the whole process is just to get a shot at getting you to the timeshare presentation. It should ring alarm bells when they ask you to fill out a form with marital status and income level to get a parking permit - just say no. We rented a condo through a service (not into the points/timeshare thing), and ended up in condo #3328. It is a very nice up to date condo - no issue there. However, it faces the street on the south side and is located directly above the entrance to the facility as is condo # 3330. (basically all units ending in 28/30). There is a loud beeping alarm that goes off to warn pedestrians every time a vecihle leaves the facility - if you sleep with the window open you will hear every car leaving - in addition to the various big pickups reving to get out. While the condo is labeled as having a "beach view", reality is that you have to go out on the balcony to see the beach. If we go back we will make sure that the condo is on the inside of the U shaped builidng, and if in the back of the U, at least on the 4th floor - so you have a decent view above the central office area. The noise level on the outside is too high, and the view is lousy.
"Renovated Suites are awesome"
09/17/14 JB906 Delta, Canada
I booked 2 suites for 3 families vacationing together rather than our usual multiple hotel rooms. Both suites had been recently renovated and were great. The two-bed, two-bath suites were large and roomy. With 6 people in the suite, we weren't crowded in or fighting for bathroom use. There are 4 pools (2 hot tubs, a shallow pool and a deeper pool). My son and I made good use of the heated pools. The teenagers were kept well occupied in the games room and there were free videos you could borrow. Location is great, the boardwalk is right outside and the main strip around the corner. We are not owners, but booked through an independent agent. I was asked if we were interested in attending a presentation, I declined and there was no pressure to attend after that. We go down to Seaside often and will stay here again. I would also consider other WorldMarks based on our experience at Seaside.
"Always a great place to stay, excellent view."

You must be a member of Wyndham to book this Hotel. You will need to book at least a year in advance as this is one of the most popular destinations. If you are not a member get any place you can on the beach and you will see why this is just a premier vacation spot.
"Beach volleyball chaos...."
08/23/14 Lady_Tubs Kenmore, Washington
This place is a timeshare booking. It's a double building with attached 4 story garage situated on beachfront promanade right smack in City of Seaside, OR. On a regular summer week, the place would be a family friendly town, but just so happened we were there at the Volleyball Nationals. The crowd swelled towards the weekend of Aug. 8,9,10 , and attracted many young folks which felt like a spring-break animal party. After the event, the city went back to it's normal atmosphere. And so the resort tried it's best to get things back to a more normal summer routine. Our check-in was very late, at past 6pm. and the front desk made up for it by giving us coupons for complimentary appetizers, each of us ( we were 3 adults ) had a nice snack in town. Our room was on the 5 floor with a lovely view of the beach from the side, and a direct street view below. Our 2 bedroom unit was spanking clean and nothing was amiss. The grill on the deck was great for dinner time, and the full kitchen was well equipped. Washer & dryer in our unit was in good condition. No maid service as this is a timeshare resort. Most Worldmark/Wynham timeshare resorts do not come with restaurants, but this one did. Found the prices too high. All in all, the place is well maintained and would definitly go back, on a regular summer week.
"Hard to beat"

One of the nicest places we have stayed. We had to sell our membership when I got sick. Now that I am well, I wish we would have kept it. We stay at alot of different places, but WorldMark is really the best. They are so well stocked, that all you have to bring is food and cloths.
It was very disappointing from the first time we stayed at Worldmark Seaside than the second time. The first time was with timeshare holders and it was wonderful. The second time was frustrating from the moment of check-in until the time we left. First impression, our room wasn't ready until 6pm, check in was supposed to be at 4pm. was that they couldn't find my reservation, then they were extremely rude, then you have to go to two different desks to get checked in and then your parking pass. Then when we finally get checked in, we keep getting phone calls about a breakfast (they wanted to sell us a timeshare). They called us a total of 6 times, and that is while we were actually in the room. Not to mention it was 7:50am in the morning. Then on the Saturday night that we were there it was just after 10pm when the pool closes and we were trying to cut through because someone in our family broke his leg recently. So instead of politely explaining that they couldn't let us through, the maintenance man was incredibly rude and snappy. Not that it was a big surprise seeing the level of customer service that we had experienced by then. We were considering purchasing a timeshare until this weekend. We certainly will not do it with WorldMark.
