Very clean hotel. Good wi-fi service. Good size room. The only thing I can see that might be an issue in the summer is that it is near a strip mall so the pool can be seen from the parking lot.

After pulling down the cover for the bed we found human hair on the sheets and food on the floor which means they didn't vacuum nor change the sheets. ick They did change our room with out a problem but it should have not come to that.

Breakfast supposed to be available at 8:00am. We left at 8:30AM and it was still not available. Coffee, juice and some cold cereal and toaster items were available but not the breakfast that was advertised.

The service was awesome. They were very nice and let us check in early. The heat was not working in our room and they gave us a new room immediately. I would have line to have seen the continental breakfast start earlier as we had to out the door at 6:00 am. One thing - the coffee was horrible.

Good location, close to Newport, RI. Don't be fooled by the pricing, you pay for what you get. This place needs a real makeover. The rugs throughout the building are worn out and look horrible. The bathrooms are very small. It was suitable for a one night stay..

The room was okay and we were generally pleased. The one thing that we did not like was that that hot water was not very hot at all. At best luke warm. It makes for a less than satisfactory experience.

Everything was decent. Staff was nice. Convenient. Sort of run down and nothing fancy, but was a clean safe place to sleep and go see the awesome surroundings of Newport area. Would stay there again when the other hotels are charging 3 to 4 times as much! If you have the kind of cash that money is no object, stay somewhere else.

Sheets were not cleaned there was sand in the sheets. Had to request new sheets, then I wasn't even giving the whole set had to call again and get the full set including pillow covers. Total wait time of half an hour for new sheets which we had to make.

The staff was very accomodating, the room was generously sized and comfortable, and the continential breakfast was a nice touch and more than adequate. We had a room on the top floor (2 story) in the back. If I had the need to stay here again (we were there for a destination wedding) I would request the same location. The balconies of the front rooms […] look out to the street and the parking lot, so I appreciated the privacy and quiet of the rear facing room. The area was convenient for shopping and all around sight seeing, but it is a bit from from the beach, if that is your main focus. It is the perfect alternative to staying at the bigger (and more expensive) chains down the street, or to staying at the "sea side" smaller motels. Read more

I will not stay at this hotel again unless it's under new management. Extremely poor service, To get service at this hotel I noticed in the check-in area that there's a phone with a sign that states the following "For service dial 0", one of the glass sections on the front door was cracked, The bathroom ceiling above the tub had been so poorly patched […] (probably due to a water leak) that you could see 2 holes in the ceiling that they forgot to patch up, When we got up for breakfast the next morning we noticed that the lights in the breakfast area were not even on...needless to say, we went elsewhere for breakfast. Nice, clean hotel with great rates located just outside of Newport. The room was quiet a bit larger than expected, which was nice. The A.C. was quiet AND powerful, something that is rare in budget hotels. There was also a fridge in the room. Overall, I was very happy with the hotel and would say that it exceeded my expectations.

From the outside, you wouldn't think that this motel/hotel had much to offer. But once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The clerk was friendly and very serviceable. The room was clean, big, and had the promised amenities. I believe that the Comfort Inn has bought this over from Ambassador since the Guest Services book was published by Comfort Inn. […] In fact, [no pun intended] the morning breakfast looked very much like a Comfort Inn set-up. The exterior does not do this hotel justice. This is the best bang for the buck in the area. The room was clean with newer appliances and very comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and the location has easy access to and from Newport.

I thought the hotel was dirty and old. The service was more of a motel. For example, we needed toilet paper and they told US to come down and get it. When we arrived we had them change the sheets because we found hair on them. All I all, we were ashamed to be staying there.

The rooms weren't great but I have seem worse rooms.The carpets looked pretty worn out the chairs at the balcony were all old and extremely worn out.Absolutely no frills comes with this hotel and the location is not the best.So i would say it was overpriced just being at a remote corner of Newport.

Dood keys needed to be changed several times a day. Keys would not open doors from one time to the next even just minutes apart. Ran out of toilet paper because they did not leave extra in the room. Ran out of tissues and they never replaced the box. Had to ask for towels. Two people and just one set of towels. This happened again the next day.

The room was very large and clean enough. The air conditioner was extremely loud, so much so that we needed ear plugs in order to sleep. The front desk staff person was friendly or unfriendly. The location was very easy to get to and extremely close to Newport which was our destination.

Conveniently located, the hotel was clean and very comfortable. Would have preferred a room not facing the road, but the desk was unmanned. Closing the door to the balcony eliminated the noise and the bed was super-comfy. Great water pressure in the shower, too. Overall, very pleased with cost, comfort and convenience.
