"A 10 minute walk to the town"
Nice time with other guests at the community table for breakfast. I think Martha Stewart was the cook. Outstanding!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent, perfectly furnished with antiques."
We stayed at several B&B's on a trip along the Maine coastline. This had the nicest room furnished with beautiful antiques. Everything was perfect. Our reception, introduction and knowledge of the area was exceptional. Snacks and beverages were available 24/7. Our room was flawless and had an exceptional modern bath. The breakfast was wonderful. "No detail missing"
This B & B was first class the whole way. Every little thing was special and each need was met before it was even known. The breakfasts were delicious and every night, we had a plate of homemade cookies set out. Such a perfect get away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A charming and hospitable bed and breakfast"
10/23/14 Charlie L London, United Kingdom
1802 is quiet and spotless and the hosts were so helpful. My bedroom was very comfortable with a very high bed and nice soft furnishings, a warm fireplace, and a modern shiny bathroom with excellent fittings and fluffy towels. It is situated on a quiet street and is near the town centre of Kennebunkport. The location is very handy for exploring the area.

Super clean and beautiful. Teri (the owner) has done a fantastic job turning this house into a welcoming and very comfortable place to stay. Each of the six rooms is individually decorated and unique. All rooms have the highest grade furnishings and appointments. Fresh muffins in the afternoon and a terrific breakfast in the morning. Great location as it is removed from the busy downtown area (actually nestled alongside a golf course), but is an easy walk to the center of Kennebunkport (or a very short two-minute drive)....but at the house, you think you're way out in the country, surrounded by her gardens. Teri knows everywhere to go in town for whatever you are looking for. She sent us to Neunan"s for an "authentic" Lobster dinner, and she was right...great atmosphere and the best lobster we've had. You can't go wrong here.

We just returned from a New England vacation and the 1802 house was one of our favorite B&Bs that we stayed at! The location is perfect; beautiful and a little secluded, but close enough to walk to downtown or easily drive to neighboring cities. Teri was a wonderful hostess! She was super helpful, and gave us some great recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Her breakfasts were delicious as well!! She has renovated all the rooms and our room was just beautiful. The bed and linens were so comfy and luxurious! To top it off, Teri had a box of truffles for us upon arrival to say Happy Anniversary. All in all, we had a wonderful experience at the 1802 House!
"2nd Visit Even Better Than the 1st!"

Our first stay at the 1802 house was pretty fantastic. We just stayed again recently and it was even better. Such a relaxing and cozy atmosphere and Teri is always so friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the suite and I did not want to leave the room...although breakfast was well worth it! Definitely would stay here again, especially since it is so close to everything yet set back in a nice, quiet and peaceful setting.
""return trip to 1802 House""

Another great time was had by my family this week staying at the 1802 House. This is our second visit to 1802 House and once again Teri and Roger, the innkeepers, couldn't have been nicer and even more accomodating. We plan on making this an annual weekend get-away. The breakfasts were really fresh and delicious and different each morning. Their suggestions for restaurants have once again proven to be wonderful. The Sebago suite where we stayed was so very comfortable and relaxing. I can't thank them enough for allowing us to make even more great family memories at your home for years to come. As this point, we now like to think of Teri and Roger as friends. We are already talking about our next trip to your home with more family next year. Thank you again for sharing your daughter's wedding pictures with us and we will share our daughter's wedding pictures with you next year. Thank you again. Diane and Larry

We spent one night to take a quick break. The location is perfect. It is within walking distance of town but it is located in a quiet neighborhood, looking out on the Cape Arundel golf course. We stayed in a small room and found it perfectly adequate. It was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was updated, with a nice shower. Only upgrade would be a better quality toilet paper! We love the benefits of a B&B- meeting new people, a nice afternoon snack and yummy breakfast and a homey environment. The only caution is to find out, before you arrive, when breakfast is served, so it does not conflict with a tee time or other morning plans.
"Impressive and just perfect"

We stayed for a couple of nights as part of our journey around New England. 1802 House is a small B&B in a quiet part of Kennebunkport but within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. On arrival we were greeted by Teri and a fine and welcome cup of tea. We were given good advice on how best to enjoy our stay in the area and Teri was clearly eager to please and make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room we had was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and provided with everything we might need during our stay. As we were on a longer tour we had a lot of luggage which was a bit tight in the room but this did not detract from our comfort or enjoyment. Breakfast was served on a communal table at a time to suit most guests but we were aware that we could set our own time or sit on a separate small table if that was our wish. The breakfast is fantastic and the conversation around the table and sharing of holiday ideas made it all the more enjoyable. We were delighted with our stay at 1802 House and just wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.
"A Very Warm and Pleasant B&B"

This is the second year we have stayed at 1802 House. The breakfasts are great and Terri, the hostess, is very warm and inviting. She takes a personal interest in her guests. Last year our room was too small, and that was the only negative. The house is nicely, warmly decorated. This year we stayed in the Arundel Room, which was commodious and inviting. So this year, there were no negatives. The location is just off the main drag, an easy walk to all the shops in Kennebunkport. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Kennebunkport. Just do not select one of the smaller rooms.
"Relaxing stay in Kennebunkport"
10/07/14 Lisa19582014 Burnsville, Minnesota
My husband and I stayed at this most lovely bed and breakfast in Kennebunkport last week as part of our first trip to the beautiful state of Maine. My son had stayed here earlier in the summer and also enjoyed his stay. Teri is a wonderful hostess and the house is immaculately clean. She has done a lot of remodeling and the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and comfortable. The inn is a bit out of town and therefore nice and quiet. But we easily walked into town at night for dinner. I would highly recommend this wonderful inn.
"Wonderful B & B"

What a lovely B & B this was. Teri was a wonderful hostess as well as a fabulous cook. Breakfasts were delicious and prepared with care. The house was renovated and more important was very clean. The rooms are not huge, but certainly sufficient. We only had one night to spend, but I would definitely come again since the area in charming.
