"Excellent, perfectly furnished with antiques."
We stayed at several B&B's on a trip along the Maine coastline. This had the nicest room furnished with beautiful antiques. Everything was perfect. Our reception, introduction and knowledge of the area was exceptional. Snacks and beverages were available 24/7. Our room was flawless and had an exceptional modern bath. The breakfast was wonderful. "No detail missing"
This B & B was first class the whole way. Every little thing was special and each need was met before it was even known. The breakfasts were delicious and every night, we had a plate of homemade cookies set out. Such a perfect get away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lovely stay in Kennybunkport"

A friend and I were looking to get away for a night and decided to head to Kennybunkport for some shopping and good food. She found this B&B and staying at it was one of the highlights of our trip. It's in a quiet neighborhood and a leisurely 15 minute stroll from restaurants and shopping. The inn is lovely... the common areas are light and bright and beautifully decorated... the rooms are cozy and comfortable and also beautifully decorated. My friend's room was decorated in Victorian style, mine had an ocean theme. The rooms are spotlessly clean and filled with little amenities. Terry is a wonderful hostess... warm and friendly and very helpful in choosing a great restaurant to go to for dinner. She even called the restaurant to change our reservations when our plans changed. She was also extremely flexible and accommodating in preparing a breakfast that met with my dietary needs. And breakfast was delicious! I can't recommend this inn highly enough... stay here and you will not be sorry. I will definitely be back and have already recommended the inn to a friend.

A pleasant 8 minute walk to Dock square to restaurants and shopping. We were greeted at the doorstep by Teri who warmly welcomed us and had a birthday box of chocolates in our room! A cozy room, lovely inn with friendly, warm and knowledgeable innkeepers make this a special place! Delicious breakfasts too! We will be back soon!!!
"Fabulous B&B Experience!"

We had never been to Kennebunkport, ME before, but the town and the 1802 House made for a very enjoyable weekend away. Besides being a beautiful home surrounded by stunning countryside, it was a convenient 10 minute walk away from shops and restaurants. Teri went out of her way to make us feel at home and welcome. The breakfasts are unique, delicious and inventive, and we got to meet some interesting couples for breakfast conversation visiting themselves, from various areas around the Northeast. The bedroom we had was nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable, with an adjoining bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub. We highly recommend the 1802 House for a romantic get-away or just a weekend to relax in a home away from home.
"Best B&B We've Ever Stayed At!"

For those exploring Kennebunkport, ME, I would highly recommend this quaint B&B. Not only is the owner extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the town, restaurants, and activities, but she is an excellent cook! Typically B&B's have very plain breakfast food, but Teri cooked up a storm for us. She made us a baked cheese blintz with blueberry sauce. Delicious! A must stay, if you are in the area!

We came here for a weekend visit and had a wonderful experience. Even though we arrived late, Teri had arranged everything for us to find our room and check in. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Overall, we had a great experience with Teri and the Inn!
"Quintessential B and B experience!"

What a fabulous place to stay! Our first time to Maine and it happened to be for our honeymoon. We were blown away by the entire town and the genuine friendliness of the people but even more so by our hosts at the 1802 house. They genuinely love what they do and this is evident by the quality of place that you stay in. The beds are amazingly comfy, the bathrooms always clean, and the rooms private! The breakfasts were also incredible! Highly highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a romantic place to take a load off. Ten minute walk from the center if the town and plenty of suggestions for what to do with your stay! 10 out of 10!

My husband took me to Kennebunkport for 3 days to celebrate my birthday. This was our first stay at the 1802 House and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. Teri Walker is the innkeeper and she does such a nice job in every aspect. The room had a fireplace and jacuzzi and was beautifully decorated. Her breakfasts were fabulous (something different every day) and she even made me special breakfasts as i need to watch my carb intake. For beachgoers she has beach chairs and towels along with parking permits. We both would highly recommend staying there. We will definitely go back.
"Wonderful accomodations and experience!"

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Kennebunkport as an extension to a weekend in Freeport, Maine. Our experience at the 1802 House was perfect. We were greeted by the owner, Terri, who is friendly, welcoming, and a perfect host. She remembers your name and details about you. We are expecting our first child in November and Terri had freshly brewed decaf coffee waiting for me each morning and made sure that the breakfasts met any dietary restrictions. Its nice to feel so at home and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious (homemade muffins, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage) and different each morning. The room was the cleanest room we have ever had at a B&B. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had modern features with cozy linens. If we find ourselves in Kennebunkport again we will definitely stay at the 1802 House, no questions asked. Highly recommended.
"romantic stay !"

My partner and I spent 3 nights in the 1802 House. The Inn is a beautiful comfortable place to stay, located in a quiet environment. Teri is a wonderful hostess. Breakfeast was good, different every morning, and not to mention the cookies and madeleine served in the afternoon! We definitely recommand it and hope to be back soon!
"Wow amazing bed and breakfast!"

This place was perfect! 1802 House was located on a cute, quiet, side street in Kennebunkport but we could walk to town in about 10-15 minutes. The Inn itself is incredibly welcoming and comfortable and makes you feel at home. The Inn keeper is extremely sweet and helpful (and leaves out snacks and drinks in the afternoon!). Breakfasts were gourmet (3 courses!). We stayed in the Camden room, which was great (clean, spacious enough, comfortable, quiet). The bathroom is what I remember most (heated tile floors which we didn't use but was an option, fancy shower heads, great towels, etc). There was a fireplace but obviously didn't use in August! Overall, this place was awesome, we loved it, and we would DEFINITELY stay here again!!
