"No detail missing"
This B & B was first class the whole way. Every little thing was special and each need was met before it was even known. The breakfasts were delicious and every night, we had a plate of homemade cookies set out. Such a perfect get away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wonderful New England Experience"
07/22/14 Mike R
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the 1802 House Bed & Breakfast. This wonderful B&B has all the charm and nostalgia of what you would picture and expect in a great New England B&B. Look no further, this is the place to stay! We had the pleasure of staying in the Sebago suite, with it’s own personal balcony over looking a beautiful golf course and garden, large Jacuzzi tub in it’s own room, nice sitting area to watch your favorite shows, full bedroom with a master bath to die for, which includes a awesome two person shower, this tranquil private suite gives you everything you need for that romantic getaway. My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time. The 1802 House is situated a short walking distance from town nestled on a quaint little street that makes you feel like you are away from it all. The beaches are clean and close, and it’s a shoppers paradise in town. The scenery is spectacular, with wild flowers, an amazing shore line and great summer weather. The room was great, not a single detail is overlooked. the beds are super comfortable, the place is spotless and the hospitality is the best we have had. Terry keeps everything running and she is great with recommendations of things to see and places to go, she was an amazing hostess and we felt right at home. The Breakfast was fantastic, served in courses and really offered a taste of New England, on a side note the locally grown and made Cranberry Apple juice was out of this world. If you are looking to experience New England in all it’s charm and beauty then you can’t go wrong, it should be the 1802 house. This is the place to stay in Kennebunkport. And remember if available spend the extra and stay in the Sebago suite, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
"A Very Special B&B!"

Teri is an exemplary steward of the 1802 House. Her personal touches abound, from decor to cousine, making the inn the gem it is today. As well, Teri is very knowledgeable of the area, and is ever willing to attend to your individual needs. Her breakfasts are very special, and we met some lovely folks at the larger table in the breakfast room. We walked the grounds which overlook the Cape Arundel Golf Club, which could not rival Teri's beautiful garden! Set away from the hub-bub of the town, it was so quiet we could hear our heart beat! Thank you, Teri, for sharing your warm hospitality! All the best!

Teri greeted us at all times with a pleasant smile and friendly, helpful attitude. We arrived a few hours ahead of schedule which was no problem whatsoever. Teri showed us to our room as well as pointed out all the amenities of the house, and then proceeded to provide a "guide" of the area through her extensive collection of maps of the area as well as her dining recommendations. Her breakfasts were thoughtful and well prepared, and quite tasty. We highly recommend Teri & the 1802 House.

Terri runs an extremely friendly, quality, comfortable stay at her B&B. And while I was only there for one night as a sample size, I can tell you sole important notes- we stayed in the York room and the bed/sheets/squishy pillows :) were all if high standard and. Extremely comfortable. The bathroom is new and of good size. The location is a short walk to town and parking is available on site. Terri's breakfast was filling and delicious and she was full of good info and so easy to talk to. As a traveler to B&Bs I'd give 1802 house two thumbs up

Terri was a very welcoming , helpful and pleasant innkeeper who prepared a very nice breakfast The 1802 house was immaculate, walking to Kennebunkport center was very convenient ,yet it was far enough off the beaten path that it was very quiet in the evening

Teri Walker, the Innkeeper of the 1802 House Bed and Breakfast is fantastic. She caters to your every need. The gourmet breakfast is wonderful and she and her crew keep your coffee or tea cups filled to the brim. Teri can help you plan your day no matter what activities you would like to do. She can also give you info on the best local restaurants and make the reservations for you.. This Bed & Breakfast Inn is immaculate with very nice grounds. "10 Years Later as wonderful"

Spent our Honeymoon in Sebago Suite 10 Years ago, went back last week for 10 Year Anniversary again in the Sebago Suite. Had a fantastic time, as expected. The 1802 House hosted by Terri & Rodger is a home away from home. Terri was great about making sure we had breakfast even on the mornings we were up and out by 6:00am. The location is peaceful with a nice easy walk to anywhere in Kennebunkport Village. The grounds around the house are very well maintained. On days we did not have specific plans, Terri was very helpful in pointing out places to see as well as fantastic dining. 10 years ago we had lunch 2 tables away from George & Barbara Bush, this trip we had dinner 2 tables away from them at Pier 77 Restaurant.....what a fantastic topper to a lovely vacation.

Wonderful place to stay in Kennepunkport. Walking distance to town and very short drive to the beach. Terri was the perfect hostess for our weekend. She knows the good place to eat and the best beaches.
"This was the best of a great set of inns we stayed at in New England"

The 1802 House is really well equipped and Teri made us feel really welcome. The location is unbelievably peaceful, so we slept really well. Each evening, we walked the very short distance into the bustling centre of Kennebunkport for dinner, making this an ideal base for our stay.
