The hotel staff was great. They will drive you wherever you need to go with their van service. We went to the NJ Devils game and they also took us to Penn Station and they told us exactly how to take the trains into NYC. The room was big and extremely clean. We will definitely be using this hotel on our next trip to Newark.

Very nice and clean hotel with friendly hotel staff. The lobby area is very inviting and the beds are plush and comfortable. They list what's going to be on the premium channels like HBO which is helpful so you can relax while watching television. The hotel is quiet and peaceful although near Newark Airport. You can see the planes when they are about to land but you can't hear them from your room. Nice views of river and the NYC skyline peaks through in the distance. Overall very pleased and will stay again!

It was my first time staying in this hotel so I didn't know what to expect. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The rooms are comfortable with plush beds and nice linens. Service staff is professional and friendly. Request a riverfront view if you can. The view might not be spectacular but very tranquil if you are able to appreciate the simpler things in life. You can watch the sun set from that side which is always nice. Free parking is a plus. Although close to airport, you will barely notice because there is no noise. If you are looking to get to the the city-hop on the hotel shuttle to Penn Station or simply take Route 21 (turn right on Mc Carter) to route 3 and connect to Lincoln Tunnel. Very convenient, clean and an overall nice stay.

Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 18, 2009
Our only criticism is that the shuttle from Newark Penn Station stops running at 11pm. If you go into NYC for a show, you'll miss the shuttle. The neighborhood is a little scary to walk through so you have to take a cab.

Vi er meget tilfredse med det hele når man tager prisen i betragtning. Afstanden til Manhattan på ca. 20 min., er slet ikke noget problem, når hotellet har shuttle til/fra Penn Station. Fin service.
