"nicest front desk"
This hotel was wonderful. The rooms are clean and adequate, but not spacious. There is a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher in the room and laundry facilities in the hotel. It is within easy walking distance to the center of town, a grocery store, and a boulangerie/patisserie. The front desk staff were fantastic. We were in town for a wedding and they […] did a lot of "extra work" for us that was above and beyond the call of duty. In addition, they did so with true joy. We are very grateful. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location, quiet and close to everything!"
Very friendly helpful staff. The studio was larger than I anticipated and my husband and I found it to be a good amount of space for both of us - for sleeping, eating, cooking and watching TV. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. We appreciated the modern bathroom and kitchenette. The grocery store is just around the corner. We could walk […] to city center. "Apartment hotel outside of old city center"
This is an apartment hotel and many guests are business people staying for longer periods of time. The rooms are modern but sparse, with murphy beds that can be folded into the wall if you want added space "to entertain." The two chairs are only moderately comfortable, but there is a full kitchen with all utensils and cooking requirements. The staff […] was very helpful. The hotel is located outside of the old city of Aix, which necessitates a a10 minute minimum walk. Later in the evening, the final block is virtually deserted. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"No daily room service and no wifi in room"
The room size is decent compared to others in that location. The biggest disappointment is that there is no room cleaning, and they literally provide you one towel for entire week. There is no wifi in room, so they give you a internet cable to hookup the laptop but no lunch using smartphones or tablets. There is wifi in lobby which is not very useful. […] The phone and internet port are located too far from the bed, so it's not very convenient. The toilet room is really small, and bigger people may not be able to close the door behind them while in the toilet. The biggest hassle is that there is no good water pressure in the shower. It looks like in the morning if others are using shower in the hotel you won't get the same water pressure and temperature, which makes it's really difficult to shower. "Convenient and quiet"
We stayed here for 2 nights on a trip to the Provence/Riviera area and were impressed by the Adagio. It's on a narrow side street off one of the main roads into Aix. A ten minute walk brings you to the city center. The reception staff were very friendly and most spoke good English. The hotel was very clean and the small kitchenette was useful for that […] early morning coffee and early evening glass of wine. The main drawback was the very tight basement parking garage. I wouldn't recommend trying to negotiate it too often during your stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice extended stay place in the edge of Old CIty"
Nice Overall, The Kitchenette is nicely stocked with dishes pans and utensils. Grocery about 2 blocks away.. Location is a relatively easy in/out to Highway. If you plan to drive and park at the hotel ( only real choice) don't bring a big car or minivan. entry/exit of parking garage involves a double S curve that tight for a large or long car. "An easy stroll to the action"
We really enjoyed the hotel and its location. We arrived after traveling for a week, so the first things we did were to use the on-site laundry machines, and then hit one of the two grocery stores near by. After that we we able to walk to and from the histroic Centre Ville, which abounds with resturants, cafes, culture and shopping. "Adagio Aix en Provence"
Hotel was simply okay. Was very basic. It was clean and within walking distance of the downtown sites. Lines during checkout were quite long with only one person handling the desk; took us about 20 minutes to get to front of line and then we had to stand in line again to take care of some additional business. Also rooms were very cramped. We rented […] a room for 4 adults and there was one double bed and a pull-out bed (fouton-like) which was not the most comfortable thing to sleep on. Since our stay was just for one night we got by but if you are planning an extended stay in Aix would suggest looking for a more upscale hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Despite good reviews on Expedia, this hotel is horrible- AC locked at 72- room so small that you hit your ankle on the side of the bed when you get up. "Apartment-style accommodations close to center"
Great hotel which is actually more like apartments. You get a full kitchen with pots, dishes, silverware, etc., in your room, and there are laundry facilities also. The staff was super friendly and quick to give recommendations for restaurants and activities. The location is not bad--5 min walk to city center--but it's on the other side of town from […] the train station and there's nothing in the immediate surrounding area. "Great location, self-service cleaning, tight garag"
The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the center of Aix. Because of one-way streets, a bit of care is required arriving and leaving by car, but Google Maps made it easy. This is not a conventional hotel with daily maid service. Rather, one gets an apartment with (very tight) bedroom, bath, sitting room and kitchen. The front desk will […] provide clean towels and fresh supplies on request. The suite is reasonably comfortable. The garage is very tight, and the spiral ramp down to it was so tight that I was afraid every time I went in or out that I would scrape the side of the car on its wall. It is made for Smart cars, and not much of anything larger. Breakfast was serviceable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bring your own pillow!"
The pillows are hard as a rock. The garage requires a very small car or someone to help through the tight turns. Breakfast over priced a bit. Very clean hotel. They could use a second elevator.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Pleasant stay in a very nice hotel. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Hotel is on the edge of the old city and a 10 minute walk from downtown. "Great location, clean, modern"
Clean, modern, quiet, but walking distance to downtown & activities. 24/7 Front Desk staff. Grocery store close by. Room had a safe for valuables. Our room had kitchenette (stove, frig, dishwasher, dishes, etc etc) and semi-private patio area. Underground parking garage ($10/night) which came in handy since on-street parking is limited in Aix.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Small but servicable kitchen"
We were very pleased with the hotel. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed the time greatly. The hotel is located on the fringe of Aix's historic central district and is within convenient walking distance of most tourist sights, resturants, and shopping. We took full advantage of the kitchen facilities, cooking about half the time. The kitchen area in our […] room was small but serviceable and adequately equipped. The parking garage is located under the hotel and features several tight turns when entering or leaving. We did find the hotel staff to be fairly uninterested, almost bordering on rude at times. Also, the hotel only has wireless internet service in the lobby. Most evenings there are a gaggle of Americans sitting down there trying to check email. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Extreamly good 4 stars Hotel"
Rooms verl clean. Has all you need to eat at the rooms. must have been recently renovated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a semi-convenient location but in an ugly part of Aix en Provence. The people working at the hotel are slow and seem to be tired of dealing with guests. Prior to even beginning an interaction, they have a bad attitude. My room was make-shift, the only bed resembled a fold-out couch that filled the room from wall to wall. The closets […] were tiny and the toilet was in a small, seperate room, with a door that closed in so you could barely squeeze by it to open or close it when you were in there. "Great location and facilities"
We stayed here for 8 nights at the beginning of September. The location is fantastic - 5 mins to the centre of Aix and a few mins to a supermarket. There is a car park underneath but I would warn anybody with a large car to be extremely cautious as the entrance is very tight. The room is comfortable and the bathroom modern. There is a hob, microwave […] fridge and dishwasher as well as a safe and ironing board and iron. There is a desk, an extra table for eating at and flat screen TV. Although we ate out every night we were able to have breakfast in our room and make our picnic. You can pay extra for a breakfast buffet if you want. This is not a hotel in that the cleaning and sheet changing service is not done daily but the room is fully equipped to enable you to keep it clean with a vacuum and hand brush. Our only gripe would be that for some reason we didn't have bedside lamps provided but the staff found us one eventually. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great for family"
Sofa bed is very comfortable, and little kitchen is handy when children wants to eat in the apartment. Room is very small and bathroom door cannot be locked, which is not a big deal to us. The stay was very good. However, given non-smoking yet smoking requested then surely I could have been given a room with a balcony. "Nicely Located Apartments Near the Centre of Aix."
This is a very nicely located aparthotel near the centre of Aix. A five minute walk in one direction to the tourist information, and a ten minute walk in the other direction to the old town restaurants / bars / cathederal etc. It is great to have garage parking, very secure with many spaces though the first couple of journeys down the snaking driveway […] should be taken slowly, it's quite narrow. Having said that, there were Mercedes C Class and even a van down there without any marks on them ! The apartment was spotlessly clean, not often I can say that, not even a rinse mark on the glasses or cutlery. Our particular apartment was a bit tight for space, adequate for a few nights but I wouldn't have wanted anyone using the sofa-bed, that would have been overcrowded. One slight niggle was the unreliable internet connection. We borrowed a LAN cable from reception which worked fine for 3 days and then stopped and couldn't be fixed before we left. There is a computer in reception which was always working. Let's be honest though, do you come to France to enjoy the internet ? Mais non !! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Decent short to medium term accommodation in Aix"
Great location for walking the Cours Mirabeau and old Aix. Supermarket right around the corner.
