"Right Next to LOUD Tri-Rail Train tracks."
I personally loved the closeness to the main strip right down the road but the Tri_Rail trainws run every 15-30 minutes and it must be required of them to blow the lou train horns when crossing the street way. If your not a heavy sleeper or not drunk, You must prepare for a restless night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Well the good news was they only made us stay one night. The hotel said they will pick us up 24 hours a day from the air port (I took the time to call the hotel and ask) When our plane got in at 12:30 at night and I called they said sorry you are on your own! "not a place to stay"
My stay was for a wedding. I had a hard time finding it, because of the oneway streets and also in a very bad neighbor hood. I did not like the train noise. Never told that this location was a block away for the trains. I had house cleaning leaving there cleaning supplies in my room, maids did not make the beds in the proper room. I had brought this […] to the attention of the hotel and nothing was done about this. I would like that hotels .com NEVER use this hotel again. Helpful and Informative staff, except for housekeeping who did not understand that the privacy tag MEANS privacy. Twice they knocked on the door at 9 a.m. and woke us up and asked me if I hung the tag. Room was not cleaned well, but after the 1st night, cleaning got better. Location of hotel is not too good. It is conveniently located, but the noise […] from I-95 and the Train is very loud, which made sleeping difficult. Overall, I was looking for an inexpensive hotel and this one fit the bill. "Gotta Love Trains"
Very near the train tracks. Every one to three hours a train would go by at all hours of the day/night. I stayed for one week and the Sheriff was on the property at least twice. The refrigerator sounded like a ticking time bomb. The shower barely got hot and it wouldn't drain, so I'm standing in water constantly. The towels were worn and smelled like […] smoke. The TV needed to be replaced; picture was fuzzy and every time I turned it on it was not on a station and the sound was on max. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I think that says it all. On the bright side there was only one and we only met it on our last night. I am disappointed because I thought that by booking a chain I would be buffered from such. "Needs more than a facelift"
Very old building with a tremendous amount of deferred maintainance. There was extensive water damage to the peeling off popcorn ceiling. Black scuff marks all over the lower areas of the walls. Large glue remnants on shower wall where soap dish or something (?) had been adhered once upon a time. Carpet was filthy and had not been vacuumed. Could smell […] cigarette smoke, although it was non-smoking. Four people 2 towels. On the plus side, it had a nice micro wave and mini frig. TV worked and AC was not loud and had a gentle flow. Comes with a blow dryer for hair. Shuttle driver is a very nice and professional man. He was the best asset of the motel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The door was very hard to open. The ice bucket was dirty. The door on the safe would not stay shut. The TV remote did not work. The room was shorted towels and washcloths. Killed a roach. "Motel - exterior doors"
I must not have done my research because this is more of a motel than hotel. There were exterior doors to the rooms. The rooms were small and there were no amenities. I would not have stayed here if I had know. It is different from the Days Inns I am used to. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice, just not how I prefer to travel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Unbearably noisy, outdated, very basic"
There are train tracks going through the backyard! Trains went by pretty frequently. The highway was also very close, but at least that was a steady noise. No soundproofing whatsoever, people walking by sounded like they were inside our room. The room was very basic, hard bed, nice pillows, seemed quite clean considering how outdated it was. Night staff […] was not friendly, but morning staff was very pleasant and friendly. I was surprised by the $2 or 3 per night "copay", aka service charge. The airport shuttle late Friday night took 1 hour & 15 minutes to get us to the hotel, however once we got in the shuttle and the traffic was at a stand still around the airport, I understood the problem. It took 20 minutes just to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3, not the shuttle's fault, just awful traffic. The shuttle in the morning was perfect. Breakfast was ok, typical continental breakfast but less tasty than most. The price was much lower than anything else in the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Biggest complaint: van, while complimentary, did not run at times published. 0630 van left at least 20 minutes late: driver said she was scheduled to arrive at work at 0630; getting van, loading up etc. made a late departure a given. 1000 van on another day, departed at 1045. "If I could give this hotel NO STARS, I would"
This place was horrible! They close the lobby at 10 pm, we got in at 11:30 and were made to stand in a torrential downpour for 45 minutes while they performed a "shift change". The men inside were rude, you have to pay a fee for the safe, per night whether you use it or not. The area by our refrigerator/desk smelled like urine. There is a train that […] runs directly behind the hotel whose whistle blows EVERY HALF HOUR all night long. This is not an exaggeration. When we called the office to have fresh towels delivered to our room we were told to come and get them. The sink was covered in small hairs, as if a man had just shaved and they left it there. There were long black hairs all over the walls, door and tub left from the last guests, I assumed. When I mentioned all these things to the manager, he was rude and non helpful. Did not offer any type of apology...I did not care about a free night, I wanted an apology and it never came. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fast trip to airport, which was needed."
Just off a 7 day cruise which was preceded by 14 days in beachfront hotel, returning home. I needed an affordable hotel, with a quick, free, shuttle trip to the airport. This suited me just fine. Room nice and large, air conditioning worked well, TV bearable but hard to configure at first. Pool really nice, large and well maintained. Excellent office […] staff, Elizabeth in particular, was so helpful while printing the flight information and boarding pass for us. Coffee service really nice, plus additions like cereal, rolls, etc. Shuttle operator nicely collected huge suitcases for us at hotel and later at airport, not always available in places I've been. "I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone!"
Where do I start? The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room. When we arrived it was thick with smoke. We complained and they sent some guy over to supposedly neutralize the smoke odor. All that happened was that they sent someone to spray Febreze from the doorway. It didn't help. The room was filthy. The corners of it had cobwebs hanging from the […] popcorn ceiling. There were pubic hairs in the bathroom and the carpet was disgusting. If all of this were not bad enough, there was very little hot water and every step and mumble was heard all night from the room upstairs. Now add that to a train that passes very close to the hotel and is very loud. This meant that we had very little sleep! The place where they serve breakfast in the morning is a small area that does not accommodate enough people. I now see why this Hotel has a non-refundable rate policy up front. I usually don't complain but this was really bad! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We stayed here 1 night before going on a cruise the next day. We asked if they had airport/hotel transfers and were told yes. I called when we landed and they said someone would be over to pick us up (this was at 11:00 PM). After about 30-40 minutes, I tried to call the hotel. When they answered the phone they said "Days Inn could you hold please?" […] and did not wait for a response from me-just placed me on hold. I hung up and called back and the same thing happened. My husband and I were worn out from traveling and frustrated that we had to wait on free transportation. We were contemplating getting a taxi. I finally got through and they said that the person was making other pickups and would be coming to get us. After 1 hour, another person was waiting on transportation for the Days Inn also. He called then and they told him the same thing. Eventually all 3 of us took a taxi to the hotel. No apologies were made to us. Not worth it! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Booked through Expedia so did not have the right to collect reward points nor to alter the stay or complain to Days Inn directly. Internet was non-existent and when i asked about it I was sent to Help desk located somewhere else in the US. After 20 minutes on the phone, neither my iPad, nor my work related android device could find a signal to lock […] onto. 3 days, no internet which meant McDonald's saw a lot of me. Shuttle service does not start til 6:30 Am which made getting to my 6 Am departure flight a real challenge. $2 dollar a day non-negotiable, non-refundable fee for a safe i did not want to be forced to use and local phone which is useless if you have a cell phone plan anyhow. Train tracks 30 yards away made for an interesting evening/early AM as the train must blow its whistle each time it passes. (every 15 minutes at about 70 Miles per hour) There were signs in my room alluding to a fee for smoking inside it however the stench of cigarettes clearly indicated that someone had either paid the fee and smoked to their hearts content or gotten away with it.Breakfast offerings were accompanied by Spanish soap operas as opposed to news or world happenings and the TV was aimed towards the front desk, not the customers of the hotel itself who had all seated themselves to eat their toast and cereal. A poor way to run a business unless you hope to have a never ending stream of new and unwitting customers flowing through your door. I will to make the same mistake twice. Vacation on a budget, Pros: Clean sheets and towels Refrigerator and microwave worked Cons: Dirty floors, I walked around room in new pair of white socks, once I removed my socks they were disgustingly filthy. 7 day stay, even with a stay of sleep and shower I recommend anywhere else. Internet signal did not work all week, I called front desk, NO help. Free […] breakfast? Only went once, the rest of the week local restaurants. Hotel next to railroad tracks, train horns all hours of the night. Thin walls, other hotel customers in and around parking lot loud, drunk, inconsiderate, etc. Missing two beverages from refrigerator second day (did not report). left message to please leave personal property alone. Summation: Even if you are on a budget spend an extra 20 plus dollars per night somewhere else. Guaranteed your stay and peace of mind will be worth the extra money. P. S. "If you want to sleep - don't stay here!"
Don't waste your money - I'd have slept better in the airport! This hotel is in pretty bad shape, which isn't too big a deal, but it's obvious they don't maintain the facilities. The doors to our rooms had gaps around them, which allowed every noise into the rooms from outside. The hotel sits on a very busy road, right next to some train tracks, and […] also very close to Interstate 95, so there is a lot of noise. A little bit of weather stripping around the doors and caulk around the windows would go a long way to helping with this - a cheap and easy fix. They were also supposed to provide us a shuttle to the cruise port, and we arrived to meet the shuttle at the allotted time. The shuttle was about 2 hours behind, and we had to fight with them to get them to call in another shuttle service to get us to our destination on time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

When we arrived at the hotel, we had been driving for 20 hours. All I wanted was a shower and some sleep. Unfortunately, they did not have any rooms available for early check in, so we sat in the office/lobby and waited for 4 hours for a room to be available. When we finally got to our room, it was obvious that it had not been vacuumed or dusted in […] some time. Then I went into the bathroom. While it appeared that housekeeping left some clean towels, they did not clean anything. There were skid marks in the toilet, toothpaste in the sink and the shower looked as if it hadn't had a good cleaning in some time. Luckily, I had some anti-bacterial wipes with me, so I quickly wiped everything down. Like I said, all I wanted was a shower and some sleep...I was too tired and frustrated to wait for another room. After we got our showers and were getting ready for sleep, one of the housekeepers walked in on us without knocking. My husband was completely naked. The next morning when we tried to get breakfast, the lobby area was so packed, we had to wait 15 mins just to get into line for breakfast...by then, there was very little to choose from and people were being extremely rude by cutting in front of you. We decided we would just eat out during the rest of our stay. Had I not paid for the room in full ahead of time, I would have paid more money to stay at a different hotel.
