Everything about the hotel met more than our expectations. Be sure to go to the 17th floor. Great view and wonderful place to relax. I block away from Restaurant row. Great breakfast at the hotel. I wish I could have eaten more.

We got an executive suite because the price wasn't all that different from a regular room. With no TV and dim lighting (not fit for reading) in the spartan living room, it's really just nice space for your luggage. Overall, Santiago was pricier than we thought, so the room was probably priced right. We stayed in Buenos Aires for half the amount and […] were just as satisfied. The people at the desk just couldn't do enough for you and the choice of nearby restaurants was outstanding. A very nice breakfast was included, but in such an upscale hotel, instant decaf coffee was a disappointment ...lots of grumbling about this. The friendly spirit in this hotel is worth the money. The staff was unusually helpful and friendly. The area is good for restaurants. Buenos Aires remains lively and worth seeing, but the economy is a little down and that's reflected in things like street and sidewalk maintenance in all areas including Palermo..Most will need a taxi or subway to downtown from the hotel. On the night of the new years eve the restaurant was fully booked and we were not able to use the restaurant as guests of the hotel. I think they should have left some space for the guests. The room service was available though. It's a little bit far from other restaurants and night life

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that we were upgraded to a suite as they didn't have nay more standard rooms. What a nice suprise! The suite had a nice living area and a full kitchen. We had a great stay at the hotel with two comfortable 'triple' rooms to accomodate a family of six. Easy walk to Tobalaba metro and kids enjoyed the rooftop pool. Great breakfast buffet included in the room rate also at rooftop restaurant which made for beautiful views of the city. Lovely hotel and a great location.

This place offers good value for the money. Its very well located just a couple of blocks to everything in 'las condes' area. I've stayed twice here, have been pretty happy on both occasions. However, I wish they would update some of the breakfast menu. Some of the dishes like the scrambled eggs and the hashbrown-like potatoes are not good at all.

This is a decent place for the price. The neighborhood is really nice. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and close to the subway. The breakfast buffet is good, but it's a free for all. The service is just OK. Check out could take 45 minutes as they are not real modern and seem to be in no hurry to get you checked out. Great location in a decent location. The hotel was nice, but the front desk was so-so. Internet connection was sub-par, but the hotel room was large. The top level is where breakfast was served and offered a breathtaking view of the Andes. Not a bad hotel to stay. Good rapport price/quality.

The executive suite was very large with lots of space. Included a small kitchenette with refrigerator. It was a lovely room to recover from a long flight. Very clean! We had a lovely dinner in the pub on the top floor. The included breakfast was excellent.

Check in was a breeze, staff is very helpful. The room is very clean and nicely decorated but my room was on the small side. The bed is very comfortable and the bedding very white and crisp. There are different options for pillows. They leave you a little chocolate every night. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood so go out to eat.

This hotel is perfectly situated in Santiago convenient to great shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff is exceptional and they think of everything. Stayed here for 3 nights on our vacation throughout Chile. The neighborhood this hotel is located in is very nice; however, it does require taking the metro (which is close by) or taxi to get to the center of Santiago, which is the tourism heart. Metro in Santiago is clean and nice so had no troubles there. Pool and terrace on 17th is great. Seems […] to cater mostly to business travelers with free breakfast included each morning with good food in 17th floor restaurant providing great views of the city from most angles (when you can see through the haze). Only issue we had was with trying to get an iron and ironing board delivered to the room. Took 2 attempts (different days) and multiple phone calls, but finally did get a small board and iron. For a business hotel, this should be in every room already. Wifi is free in the lobby and at the restaurant on the 17th floor, which was nice. Expensive if you want it in the room. I believe you could buy room wifi/internet access in 3 hour sessions...for the price, didn't seem worth it. My wife and I needed separate taxis on our checkout day and the concierge was excellent in assisting. They had a private car for one of us and called a trustworthy taxi for the other (quoted cost before trip). Great experience and loved Santiago. Read more

We had to travel to Santiago to visit Clinica Los Condes, we arrived at 12:30, and I went to check-in, I informed them that we have 2 children with us. They said we needed identification cards for them, my family is chilean, so we didn't have ID's for the kids, since we weren't traveling outside of the country. They told us that we can get a temp ID […] at the civil office, closes at 2, but we had out doctor's appointment at 2:20. You would think, ok, maybe we can go the following morning get the cards and everything would be OK.....but no. We had to take a taxi to the civil office, wait 40 minutes for the cards, then take another taxi to the clinic, all because they couldn't accept that. Now, we were also traveling with our 5 month old baby, we have his documents, but no ID, they also wanted that, but since I didn't take him to the civil office, we couldn't get it that day, finally the allowed us to stay at the hotel with the promise of getting his ID first thing in the morning. During all this, the Front desk supervisor was telling me that I am a bad father for not having ID's in the first place for the children, this is a new law in Chile, by the way. This was all because the front desk supervisor couldn't be lenient at first, we had to argue for almost 2 hours before they would make the exception. Oh yeah, they also count 5 month old babies in the room count, so 3 children, and 2 adults for a double room would be charged $45 extra per night. Read more

The rooms are everything they had promised! Comfortable, quiet and roomy. The staff are multilingual, very professional and at your disposal at any time. You are definively in a bubble as it is not the "real" Santiago but the hotel is an oasis as the end of the day when you get back. Mostly, the restaurants in the area are very expensive. But if you research your restaurants, you can find some affordable ones. Tiramisu is one of them. Just a short stroll away. The restaurant at the hotel is also good if you dont feel like going out. Due to heavy traffic and several large towers under construction nearby, getting to and leaving from the hotel might be difficult (and the subway is 7 blocks away). We could not have asked for a better hotel during our visit to Santiago, Chile. While you can certainly take advantage of the restaurants in the area, do not pass up El Enebro or the 17th Floor Park Club. I used to stay at the Radisson Plaza, which is a nice hotel, but they've been indiscriminately increasing their rates for no apparent reason, so I decided to try a different option this time. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was and the location was perfect, in the beautiful, very safe Las Condes area of Santiago. The room was very comfortable and clean with a very comfortable bed and nice linens.The hotel looked new. Strangely, this hotel has a policy where all rooms will be checked and cleaned regardless of the no disturb sign. We we're told by a very unaccommodating manager, this would be the case whether we like it or not and that it was our fault for not telling them we didn't want constant cleaning before checking in. We had stayed for nearly 2 weeks in this […] hotel with the chief of house keeping agreed to clean every 3 days. Once we booked with Expedia, the policy changed. The manager mentioned that the hotel was sold out, we had booked through Expedia and that we could leave if we like. Further, his hotel was not responsible for refunds. This is an environmentally unfriendly hotel. The plumbing in the shower smelled. The employees seemed a little sad and hardly a one offered so much as a smile. The breakfast was mediocre at best and very noisy due to the excessive amount of cutlery and plates being moved about. If you are concerned with environment, and dislike being disturbed, then I would suggest avoiding the Hotel Plaza El Bosque Park. Read more
