Overall, a very good experience that was marred by two things: 1. The water never got to be more than about 80 degrees in the shower, so that was chilly. Also the room thermostat was faulty, and the air conditioning was erratic as result. All other aspects were excellent; the visit would have been all 5's if not for these items.

Just had a short stay for business, getting in after dinner and leaving before 8:00 AM. Had the buffet for breakfast - it was great. Check in and out were super easy and quick. Room was perfect. Location was great. Met all the needs I had.

Visited San Diego Safari Park. Hotel is fairly close by has a pool. Caters to the business community but was fine for one night with kids. There are restaurants and a mall nearby.

The pillows were uncomfortable. There was dry paint in the sink from painting the ceiling in the bathroom. We were sapposed to get an express check out under our door in the morning. That never hsppened. The breakfast was $12 each and the quality was poor. I don't care for Denny's but I think it would have been better and cheeper.

The room was nice, spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed, great TV. Large hotel with beautiful lobby, coffee and cucumber water available upon check-in. Nice pool. Only drawback was the distance to walk from the elevators to the room due to size of the hotel. Highly recommend.

I can't really complain about Hilton Garden Inn, but I can't say I'm excited to stay there either. The rooms just seem awkward to me when I compare to Courtyard Marriott or Hyatt Place, both preferable properties for business travelers. But the room is certainly clean and large, but I feel like i want to get out of the room when I stay there.

If you're planning to visit the safari zoo, this is a very convenient and affordable place to stay. Clean, friendly and very comfortable hotel. The breakfast buffet is totally worth it and the service is superb. Love the front desk staff too! I would definitely come back!

This hotel is a hidden gem because it is tucked away back off main roads and walking distance to stores and restaurants. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. The rooms are large and well kept with flat screen TVs and good friendly staff. I stay here almost every time I have business in Rancho Bernardo, a suburb north and east of San Diego.

I don't know how old the property is, but it certainly looks brand new. While this hotel is more suited for business travelers rather than for a romantic getaway, it succeeds on most every level with well-maintained facilities, and an incredibly friendly staff. My only regret is the fitness center is rather small, but was still clean and useful.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, and the services were performed promptly. Breakfast was very good; parking easy to get and to get to. My only criticism might be that some carpets looked a little worn. They need to do some upgrade investments.

Staff was professional and accommodating. The maid staff forgot about our room and was never made up. We stayed 2 nights and had to call front desk for clean towels. We had to request twice before anyone came. All though they did bring us towels and some chocolate, a small bottle of wine it was still annoying. Nice lobby probably would have had a drink […] in the bar while our room was being cleaned, but staff told us the maids go home at 4pm and it was after all 5:00pm. The hotel was great, but the noise-proofing is not good and we were woken several times by loud noises from guests in the 3rd floor room above us and guests coming in drunk in early morning, noisy in the hallway. Not much. Over-priced for the level of the hotel.Bed was weak - not supportive - and should be replaced. No card in the room listing the TV stations. Very inconvenient to have to either click-thru or go back to the info page ever time I wanted to locate a station.

Asked for a room with 2 queen beds and the rude receptionist said that they were fully booked and only had rooms with one bed. It was supposed to be a king but was a queen size bed and the room couldn't have been closer to the freeway unless it was in a car. The hotel was obviously only half full as most of the parking spots were open. So we asked for […] a rollout bed, which barely fit in the tiny room, and were overcharged for 3 nights instead of 2 nights. A different receptionist was at the front desk, who deducted one charge from our bill upon checkout. The main problem with this hotel is that it is located about 100 feet from the I15 freeway and as a result the noise level is pretty high.
