"Beautiful location;"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 25, 2011
Lovely moden stylish hotel with fabulous views and location. Most of the staff lovely as well; a few acted as if they were doing you a favor which for those prices is inexcusable. Also access to the beach difficult and beach itself ok but small and very crowded in season so that we ended up at the pool more than the beach (and the view from the pool is spectacular) so that I would probably choose it again over most of what else is available.
"Food"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 7, 2011
Although we loved our stay at this beautiful hotel in Porto Cervo, we must be honest about the food we had. It needs improvement. Some of the foods we had on the dinner menu didnt have the quality of being freshly made. The menu did state some of the food made be frozen which was unusual for such a higher class hotel but some of the items were tasteless, and tough. However, the breakfast buffet was very good. We would very much like to stay at the hotel again as it very beautiful and everything else was perfect.

"Nice hotel, somewhat poor service (rude)"Reviewed by David M of "New York" on Oct 19, 2009
The hotel is very nice, having been built only 3 or so years ago. Architecture is nice, rooms comfortable and clean. I was very impressed with the breakfast, which offered everything from champagne to made-to-order omlettes, all included. For the Porto Cervo area, it probably offers the best value of any of the hotels i saw online. A beach is very nearby, and is quite nice actually. But the staff were not very friendly. We even had an incident where we were blatantly overcharged for massages, contrary to a price list in our room. They failed to do anything about it for almost two days, and then on the early morning when i left they conveniently had "lost" the price list. Pretty frustrating. Food and drinks are a total rip off, but so is everything in the Porto Cervo area.

Playground for the rich, the waters of the Emerald Coast sparkle like the precious jewel, matched only by the diamonds of those who flock here. In the 1960s, the Aga Khan discovered this idyllic 35-mile coastal strip of sandy beaches, studded with 80 bays and idyllic coves, and made it an exclusive private resort. Low-rise buildings blending harmoniously with the landscape and beautiful (free) beaches ensure the coast’s enduring popularity.

"Family Hotel - not enough value for the money"
Typical Sardenian Family hotel, but far too expensive for what is offered. Hotel beach rather small and packed with sunbeds, sunumbrellas could not be opened due to wind (in July). Public beach next to it. Poor Sport activity offer from third party (no sailingboats). Breakfast is OK, but Halfboard is uncreative pre-cooked food. Loud in dining room due […] to many kids. Waiters partly arrogant. Not possible to by beer at beach, we had to go to reception-bar and get two for 14,- EUR! Awful live music at evening bar. Only for old people. Overall impression is that the hotel is far beyond its good times. Read more
