I was very satisfied with this hotel. The only complaint that I have is that the restrooms did not have drinking water. Everytime I needed water, I had to go down to the lobby. Would appreciate a tap for drinking water on every floor....

Hotel is closed to main attractions. However, if traveling by car you need to park your car in a private city parking lot, which can be very expensive. Room was fairly small for a family of four. For our two day stay in Lucerne, we found this hotel to be very central, and the desk staff extremely helpful. They took extra time to help us plan day excursions, like a day trip to nearby Mount Pilatus, which ended up being a highlight of our trip. The hotel rooms are very tiny. We had a very difficult time in managing our luggage. We stumbled on them few times, we moved the stools and chairs in the rooms few times and in the end it was a frustrating experience. By sleeping on the bed, we got itches on our skin. Very SLOW check-in Process, not enough waiting area if in big Group. We were a party of 6 with three rooms, and I specifically asked if they have any rooms with Air-Cond. the lady said NO. And to my surprise, not only each one of us got a different room types with different amanities in each, but one of us got a room with AIR-COND. Tne reception staff were friendly and answered our questions on tourist attractionos, local transportation. The breakfast was awesome. Nice area. Good connectivity to public transport. Shopping areas nearby make this a good place to stay. The only issue is hotels.com showed double bed +sofa bed as room option, the hotel put us up in a double bed without any extra bed/sofa bed. They will not change room as they said they are overbooked. When I showed them the hotels.com booking email […] and insisted, an alternate room was given. Otherwise the staff was nice, gave suggestions. Even had a breakfast packet for us ready as we had to check out early to catch our train. The hotel is located a pretty far distance from the train station if you are luggage suitcases. It is especially bad in the rain. Taxi was very expensive. The hotel is decorated in bold, bright colors. Staff was helpful. No Air Condition or Refrigerator. Overall it was just okay. We would look for someplace different next time.

Overal this hotel is great for its price! The location is near the centre of the town and easy to walk to in 5-10 minutes. We only stayed here for two nights, and it was perfect for that, Breakfast ok- typical European style. Hotel staff were great, could speak English and always happy to help and recommend where to go.

I stayed at the Ibis Styles in mid January and found the hotel excellent value for money. It is in a very central location in the city, yet is quiet and peaceful. There is very little service as such, but what staff there are are friendly and efficient. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and contain everything that is necessary.

Very pleasant night in Ibis Hotel in Lucerne. I really enjoyed it. The breakfast is not gorgeous but the room is very nice, well located in the center of Lucerne close to the lake. It is bit expensive but it is Switzerland price!

It's a good room however the family room don't have any kettles for children's hot water, we have to do the ironing at the hotel corridor at different level from our room and worst still u can do ironing on level 3 and 4 only, for level 4, the iron was not working and the light for both levels iron room was not working, last but not least the hotel […] staff were not friendly. The Staff was very friendly they helped us with everything. The room was unfourtunately not that what I was excepting from a Ibis Styles. Too smal and too expensive. The location was very good. Pretty much in the center very close to the lake. I am not sure if I would return there again. Overall OK.

Unser Zimmer war direkt nebem dem Lift, dass heisst wir hatten die ganze Nacht den Fahstuhllärm zu erdulden. Die Bettlaken waren so klein, dass ständig eine von zwei Personenen gefroren hat, auch gab es keine zweite Decke im Schrank. Die Zimmerausrüstung ist wirklich mit nur mit dem absoluten Minimum ausgerüstet, wie etwa Frotteetücher ect. Einzig die […] Lage des Hotels mag zu überzeugen.
