We had an amazing time. We stayed in a suite in the Carousel Suites and thought the room was soooo nice. Very big and spacious. Clean and everything was not out of date as I read in some reviews. I was so nice I wouldnt have minded if I stayed there the entire getaway. We had a king size bed, fire place, jacuzzi and even a murphy pull out bed from the […] wall that Ive never seen before. My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Golden Plough Inn over the week of Thanksgiving. The room was quite large and very comfortable. The hotel was beautifully appointed, quiet and conveniently located. Gentleman at the front desk was helpful, pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in room 115 which was over the wine shop. It had a fireplace, beautiful fourposter bed and lovely decor. We would definitely stay again.

The area is close to so many shops, dining, sites. First time staying at the Golden Plough Inn, which far surpassed our expectations. Super clean, comfortable suite, pleasant personnel. Peddlers Village is spotless, the people are so friendly. We really did not need to leave the area, we walked all over because it was so pleasant. Earl's for dinner […] everynight - excellent. Skin and Tonic spa was wonderful. We plan on staying longer next time, just to fit in more sites. Learned alot from the area from local residents and workers. If you are looking for night life (which we were not), this is not the place to stay...it's up early (at least I was exploring the area and meeting all the early local risers and shop owners), we were in our suite enjoying the jacuzzi, and local wine and cheese at 8 pm. It was the best vacation I have had in a long time. We are already planning a trip back in 2 months...can't wait! Read more

The room was attractive, comfortable and clean with some snacks and bottled water provided. The complimentary breakfast and wine coupon was a nice touch. The coupon booklet provided saved some money in a few of the stores.

Adorable room, close to everything. Bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall the room was clean. Only one chair in room - wanted to sit and play board games at night and no where to do this. (Can't get to lobby without going outside)

Looks like it fits into the touristy area of this quaint town. Inside is very relaxed. The rooms are fine. Looks nice but nothing luxurious about it. The shower is fine, curtains smelled moldy. The bed is not the most comfortable—but not the least comfortable. Pillows were less than desirable. This is the first B & B I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. I was immediately impressed by the online picture of the outside of the building. I would add, that I was a bit hesitant because there are few pictures of the various rooms that one could reserve on their website. If I were them, I would definitely take advantage of inserting pictures […] to illustrate their beautiful decor, and their charm. I was delightfully impressed, and totally enjoyed my 3 day stay. IThe Inn is also in Peddler's Village, which has a wide collection of very interesting shops, including ones with artwork, which is an interest of mine. Our stay was very pleasant and were quite impressed on how clean the Inn was. The village is quaint with many unique shops. If you haven t had enough shopping, across the way are outlets. : ) We highly recommend this place, especially around Christmas time.

after the initial difficulty with check in we really enjoyed the creative set up. hotel rooms are sprinkled throughout the town above the various retail establishments.
