We have stayed at this hotel on all of our frequent trips to the Wallingford area. Very convenient, clean, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast is included.

"$100 pet fee"
$they wanted $100 for our dog to stay!! We negotiated to $50 but we were not told (verbally) that it was that much. Ridiculous. Evaluate the room and charge a fee.
"Very convenient"
Our family stayed after a family event. The location was just off I-95, and was very comfortable. We especially liked the simple dinner offered as part of the price as we could just stay and relax. The morning breakfast got us off to a good start also.
"Pet Deposit Totally Unreasonable"
I was traveling with a 7pound Youkie who is six years old and totally house broken. When I made the reservation I specifically requested a pet-friendy hotel. Most Pet Friendly hotels charge anywhere from $15.00 to $25.00 for pets - and this was consistent on my road trip from Florida to Cape Cod, MA. At check in I was informed that this Marriott charges […] a $100 non refundable pet deposit. That is outrageous and unacceptable. We checked in at 9:00 PM and left at 8:00 AM the next morning. If I had other choices - I would not have stayed. Hotels.com should be aware of excessive charges that are Tripp,e that of their competition. I felt very cheated by both Hotels.com and Marriott. "Great hotel...if you can find it!"
Pros: Great value and lovely hotel. Rooms are spacious and nicely equipped. Hotel is new, neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious and included waffles, eggs, and sausage. Pool was closed for the season. Cons: It is REALLY hard to find. You can't see the hotel or it's sign from the Interstate, the connecting road, or even from the road it's on. In fact, […] there's another Marriot next door that we went to first because the Residence Inn is so far from the road. Parking, especially near the front door is lacking. Pull out bed was the usual variety with the wimpy mattress. Overall, we loved the stay & it was a good value, but there were definitely some downsides if you don't have a GPS to find the place or a desire to walk 100 yards from the parking lot. Read more

"On our way out"
My boyfriend and I checked in to Residence Inn by Marriott Milford after booking through Hotels.com. We were greeted by a super nice lady who treated us with kindness and respect. The lobby of the hotel reminded us of a cool ski lodge you'd find in Colorado with a fireplace and welcoming furnishings. When we got to our room, we were blown away by the […] fact that not only was there a kitchen (somehow missed that when booking) but there was free popcorn, free breakfast and a pool! We were headed to NYC the next day to fly out of JFK and were expecting your basic room, but instead was surprised with a suite! I will be recommending this place to my friends and family! "Very comfortable , excellent service"
we just spent 2 days there but it was a very nice room with kitchen area and a sitting/working area. The service was very nice, the only thing wrong was that the King Size bed was positioned in a way that prevented the Bedroom door from closing.

Everything was great! Hotel staff at the desk was especially helpful with restaurant recommendations for both delivery and dining out. Clean, comfortable and great location.

Stayed here after checking out of Milford Quality Inn a day early. Was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms and professionalism of the staff. Will definitely stay again.
