      We had the most incredible time. The staff was beyond helpful and so generous. When we drove up to the chateau our breath was taken away. It felt like we were in a fairy tale. The fact that we were able to stay here and then tour the nearby castles was amazing. They are very close to must see chateaus and castles. You do need a car. 5stars!

      This was a nice hotel, right at the train station, which gave us access to CDG by TGV for our trip home. It was also easy to get into downtown Tours to see the sights of this nice city.

      Even though the rooms are small compared to hotels in the USA, this hotel is a great location in Tours. A 10 minute walk to old town Tours and a 20 minute walk to the train station. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful - especially since I don't speak French very well. Very accomodating to all requests. In addition, the restaurant dinner menu is unbelievable - high quality gourmet. I would definitely stay here again.

      Rooms are compact and appeared to be redecorated compared to previous internet photos. Baths were updated with new fixtures. Location was quiet. Close to good dining and Rail Station. Short walk to old town. Front desk was helpful making taxi reservations and storing luggage after checkout. Elevator. Breakfast was a cold buffet: cereal, hard boiled eggs, meats, fruit, bread, and yogart.

    We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst visiting the west side of the Loire. It was ideally situated although a bit difficult to locate due to the... number of other signs for hotels and various businesses on the long stretch of road. It is located on the south of Tours which made it possible to explore the region without passing through the city centre. Staff excellent and rooms well priced. Towels and toiletries provided even at the low price of accommodation. Would definitely recommend this hotel chain. by a Hotels.com guest on 07/04/11

    BEWARE!!! This experience was a disaster. PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT ABOUT THIS "HOTEL". You have to check in before 5pm or you are out for the night (no exceptions). The office closes and you only get the answering machine. Also, there is a "cleaning fee" and "resort fee" that do not show up in their expedia ad. If it wasn;t for the owners of the […] restraunt across and down the street we would have slept in the car. They helped me find a room. Read more

    We stayed 3 nights the conditions were nice, except a pipe smell coming from the bathroom- kept the bathroom door closed. If you have a car the location is great in between lots of castles. Clean, free parking.

    While we traveled we stayed in many small, very reasonable hotels including one other time at a Balladin hotel. Only at the Balladins did we feel that ok... you pay cheap, you get cheap. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location ok, but the rooms felt cramped and old.

    Nous avons passé une nuit aux Baladins à Tours ce 14 février 2013 et avons été très satisfait de cet hôtel.La chambre était impeccable ..Nous avions d’abord une chambre qui donnait sur la route principale et ayant peut être un peu peur du bruit ,nous avons demandé à changer.
