This is an apratment building with a portion of the buidling as a hotel. My room was on the ground floor next to the library. Two complaints I had was heating, there was a lack of heating, and curtains. There were no curtains on the windows, but blinds that did not fully block out light, and where passerby's could look into the room. Great staff good location could use updated TV's and wifi is public area only

I should have read the reviews the beds were doubles and we have a little one sleeping with is out was a little tight would have been okay but the mattress was very UN supportivei sleep near the edge only weigh 190 and it couldn't support me the location is great you look right at the pikeplace brewery pretty quiet considering nice little back patio […] the pool was gross don't errant to get in to that funky very funky the parking is weird its underneath be careful where you park cause only certain elevators work for entry the main elevator for the inn (not the apartments) broke apparently not that uncommon stairs are very convenient though the breakfast was a little sad but it was free fresh though and oatmeal was cooked just right we got a good rate on this hotel and that still wasn't very good do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else Read more

We were return visitors and were not disappointed. The ambience was cordial and welcoming and the rooms were quite comfortable. My only criticism is that the rooms could use reconditioning. The breakfast was better than most and free as was the afternoon wine and cheeses etc. The location can't be beat!

I have stayed here several times and for the most part like the experience. This is not a typical hotel stay and feels like an apartment house set-up (which it is first and foremest). The people are helpful and friendly throughout but do not expect bell service or dining onsite. Nice workout facilities and convienient to Pike Place, ferries, etc. Two […] negatives, this trip, room (18) was a little cold (heat did not seem to keep up) and the water preasure in the shower was not good. Not a typical hotel set-up but if you need a convienient location with basics, worth a try. The building is primarily an apartment comlex with a small number of rooms carved out for short term stays. The health club facilities were very good, no resturaunt but breakfast and late afternoon snacks are provided in a small comfortable common room. The […] rooms themseleves are a little dated and I can not remember the last time I stayed at a place with a 19 inch TV. The shower tiles could use a fix of oxyclean but overall not the worst I've ever seen. I will probably come back again when in Seattle. Read more

The staff was helpful and curious. The hotel was not hard to find but we have a familiary of Seattle. The room was spacious, well laid out and very quiet for being in downtown Seattle. The only time noise was an issue was when the Friday night partiers came in and it was only for a brief time span. Unlike other reviews, our room was well lit and clean with a refrigerator and new bottles of water everyday which was a nice touch. HUGE room, nicely decorated. A little rundown, but very decent for the reasonable price.

This was such a dirty hotel for the cost. The beds are hard & their queen size beds are actually doubles. Also, I should at least not find long black hairs in the bed sheet or feel like I need a shower after being in the room for only 5 minutes. It stunk like food, perfume & incense. I was so grossed out I left and got another room at the Waterfront […] Marriot for less than this place. What a difference! I would pay 1000.00 to go elsewhere rather than stay here!!!! This is actually part of an apartment complex. The lobby has a desk for the hotel units and another one for the apartment units. There is no valet service. You have to park your car ($20.00/day) in an underground public lot and find your way upstairs. There is no wireless internet service available in the rooms. The room was a converted apartment with […] two queen beds, an old bathroom with one sink and old bathtub. It was very noisy and we ended up stuffing pillows under the door to try to get some sleep. The carpet was quite dirty. The positives include a delicious great free breakfast, free afternoon appetizers and wonderful people at the front desk. The location is very convenient and just 4 blocks from Pike Place and across from the Seattle Art Museum. There is no restaurant available in the complex but many good restaurants are only blocks away. Not a terrible place but just be aware this is not a full service hotel and there are many good alternatives in downtown Seattle. Read more

this location is fabulous - i had a king spa room overlooking the harbor steps courtyard, and it really isn't all that loud, especially when you shut the french doors, i had no problem sleeping at all. the room was clean, but what was lacking was the attention to detail cleaning - the breakfast table with smudges on the side, the cabinet doors in the […] kitchenette dusty, little things that needed to be deep cleaned beyond the surface, but by no means dirty. the breakfast that comes with the room can honestly be skipped, it was horrible. the eggs look like they are microwaved & the quiche was disgusting & most likely microwaved as well. we didn't try the oatmeal or anything else. the staff was super nice & quick with all of our requests and were on duty until 8pm. this is more of a bed & breakfast than a hotel so if you want 24 hour service, room service and a restaurant, this isn't the place for you, but the room was tasteful and comfortable, i loved the area and i'd stay again. Interesting hotel, great location, extremely honest employees. After leaving jewelry in the bathroom upon checkout, we received an immediate call informing us of the jewelry we forgot. I appreciate their honesty.

i had a wonderful stay at the harbor view steps. huge room, friendly staff, quiet, all conveniences. excellant. i think could be the biggest room i have ever stayed in the usa. i would stay here again for sure and reccommend to all my work collegues and friends.

We will definitely return to this hotel! Customer Service was awesome and the hotel is beautiful. Loved the afternoon wine and cheese and the hotel is close to everything in Seattle. Just one suggestion......please upgrade your mattresses and this hotel would be perfect!

OK, I am a VERY frequent traveler, both business and pleasure I travel over 100 nights a year. I can honestly say I have NEVER stayed at a hotel like this in my life. To begin, please understand this "hotel" is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. It is on 2 floors of an apartment building. The hotel is very hard to find. The sign from the street […] is extremely hard to see. When you enter the doors, you have to search out the front desk as you are in an apartment building. The rooms are very nice, large, and well appointed. I did find that the rooms seemed a bit "less than desirable" as to the makeup and cleanliness. The staff did not seem to know how to run a hotel and they did not maintain 24 hour service. Basically, they ran regular hours and you are on your own after hours. Further, they were of NO HELP with checking out, storing bags, and helping with bags. I do not believe they even have a bell hop on staff. Breakfast is OK at best. The food and dining room environment reminded me of a cafeteria. I just did not like the overall experience. The price was fine, but compared to the environoment and previous experiences at neighboring hotels, just not worth it. The location is fantastic, just down the street from Pike's Market. Other than that, if you can find another hotel close to the market and piers, pass on this one. Read more

Loved the stay at the Inn. Room was lovely,the outside area was also very lovely. Location was a mere 2 blocks from Pike Street Market and also 2 blocks from the Seattle waterfront. The price was reasonable compared to waterfrom hotels we checked on the internet . Loved our stay at the Inn.

This is a very nice hotel that's built into an apartment building right on the waterfront in Seattle. It's walking distance to many restaurants, Pike Street market, the concert hall, etc. And I felt completely safe walking around there very late at night. The hotel levels themselves are well done: very nice fitness center, library (!), and eating area. […] Good breakfast in the morning with quiche, eggs, muffins, toast and juice. The room I had was spacious with a very high ceiling and a really nice layout and bathroom. The TV was old however and the channels fuzzy. The wifi didn't work in my room, but the ethernet connection worked great. The oddest thing was the temperature control, which required bending over a chair to see the very low AC display, and then (randomly) discovering that the only way to turn the AC off was with a lightswitch that was also about 1 foot off the floor. Very odd. That said, I would definitely stay here again if I'm looking for a place in downtown Seattle. Read more

The Inn's room was huge, two queen beds, with a large seating area, closet, desk area and bath room. Easy walk to the piers and to Pike Place Market. Arrived using the Sound Central Light rail train from SeaTac airport - very convienient.

Hotel is in the perfect location. Parking was somewhat confusing and difficult. We ended up parking nearby. The room was only adequate. The advertised queen was actually just a double and made things uncomfortable for sharing with my wife and 1-year-old. The breakfast wasn't very good. The pool isn't conveniently located.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I is a hidden little gem. The staff was so nice and helpful. The location was perfect. Yes a little tricky to find your way around at first, but it is worth the effort. Ed cooked the most delicious quiche every morning. Stayed here with our whole family after a cruise to Alaska. It was way more than we hoped for. Large spacious rooms, complimentary wine and appetizers, complimentary breakfast. Close to Pike's Place and one block from the light rail which brings you right into Sea-Tac. Perfect! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. This hotel is actually a part of an apartment and most of the part is apartment. So the atmosphere is not like a hotel but very comfortable. Hotel room is only 28 rooms and those rooms locates lower levels. Our room was 2 queens but room was so spacious. It has a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. The facility are great. There are 2 fitness rooms, […] a indoor pool, 2 jacuzzi, and 2 dry saunas. They serves breakfast and there is a tea time at the afternoon. The hotel is an easy walk to Pike Place Market or Pioneer Square. Shopping is close (three blocks at Westlake Mall). The hotel staff was very helpful showing us to our room and explaining how everythin worked. The Library was a nice place to sit and read. Although this appeared to be a hotel from the street, the accomodations were like a luxury Bed and Breakfast. The service was exemplary. The breakfast cooked by a chef. The tea time at 430p each day included veggies, fruit, cheese and wine. WE LOVED IT!!! This hotel was within walking distance from everything.

The hotel has good amenities, and is centrally located between Pioneer Square and Pikes Market. It is virtually impossible to find with only a street placard, and it's reception desk hidden. We drove past multiple times and finally got out and walked the street to find it. Upon commenting on it the receptionist didn't seem to notice that we had spoken. […] The rooms are clean and nice with fire places and refrigerators, a nice sitting area and big bath rooms. On site parking is available, though that also required a walking tour to spot the unmarked entrance, and then you circle several floors to get to the hotel designated spots. somewhat difficult to find entrance as there are 3 buildings, apartments as well as offices and the inn. Rooms are not ready until 3 pm which will require you to wait if flying in from a different time zone. The elevators are confusing, having to punch in a code to use. They are locked at night, as are the gates on the stairs, making it difficult to […] get off the floor if you have an early flight and have to leave early. My sister and i enjoyed our three-day holiday in Seattle and staying at Harbor Inns. The location is great and close to lots of attractions and we found the staff to be very friendly an helpful. The breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed the afternoon teas. The jacuzzi was also great and very clean. A nice place to warm up after being out in the […] cold Seattle rain. This is from someone who doesn't care much for driving in the city, so I'm sure I'm biased. It's pretty difficult to get to for a hotel, as you have to find a place out front in the loading zone, put your blinkers on, find someone inside that can help you (hint: the main desk is not for the hotel), get directions for the garage, get the multiple key […] fobs to get in and out of the garage, and finally--park! Another small complaint: The signs on the street do NOT say "INN" on them, in fact they say "apartments", and one of the buildings is not, in fact the hotel. Very confusing for us who are from out of town. Other than that, the room was very nice, if not a bit warm. The bed was your standard hard hotel bed, but everything was clean and it was a short walk to all of the cool places in downtown Seattle. I may not stay here again, but if you want a place that is quite literally in the center of all the action, this is a good place to stay. Read more

Our room was very loud, I could hear the entrance door slam at all hours of the morning. Wi-Fi is not offered so you have to be tethered to the desk if you want to use your laptop. I booked this room for a weekend visit to Seattle with my daughter for her 18th birthday. We also had reservations for a play at the 5th Avenue Theater during our stay there. We stayed in the room with two double beds. The room was large and well furnished. The bed was as comfortable as most you find in hotels. The bathroom was clean, well stocked with […] towels and the toiletries were from a local shop in Seattle, a very nice touch. Even the coffee for the coffee maker was from a coffee shop just up the street from the hotel. The theater was within walking distance, in fact, we never moved the car after we arrived there. There are plenty of shops and restaurants near the hotel and just a couple blocks up the street was the famous Pike Place Market, which we visited on our last day. We had breakfast each morning and although not the best I have ever had, it was good and there were plenty of choices. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely go back again.
