This hotel fit our expectations coming into it. For the price and location, it is nicer than most of it's competitors. The Good: The room seemed tidy, the beds were newer and very comfortable, and the staff we encountered was friendly. The Not So Good: The shower head, bathroom vanity and bathroom mirror were all built for someone 5'6" or shorter. […] Not much lighting in the interior of the room itself. The Ugly: Stain of unknown nature on the seat cushion o f the chair in our room. We entered the hotel in the East door, where there was a highly overflowing garbage dumpster. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm, but the area itself was in dire need of maintenance and cleaning. The Unknown: We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast there, but heard the selection is much better than most continental breakfasts. Overall, we would stay there again. Read more

The pool and hot tub had so much chlorine in them that we couldn't relax and go swimming. This was one main thing we looked for when booking a hotel. We stay at a lot if baymont's and was very let down by this.

We were there for the spa and pool. The spa was about 4 inches low on water so it did not filter and circulate correctly the water was cloudy. the pool was spotless.but the water temp was the same as the spa. there was no way you could swim in that heat. when you did try to put your face in the water it was very salty. way too much urine in the water. […] When service personel test the water they should grab a handfull and taste it I sure do when I jump in it. Quality of hotel was better than average. Room was very nice, very comfortable bed. Decent breakfast in the morning. Only downfall is that there is an establishment next to the hotel and the loud bass from the music could be heard while trying to sleep on the comfortable bed.

The hotel is right off of highway 69 which can be quite noisy inside your room. The parking lot was treacherous due to snow and ice and the hallway to our room was frigid. We stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi tub, which was fairly clean and in good shape. The king size bed was very comfortable. The towels are run of the mill hotel towels, no bath robes […] and cheap and non working appliances. I dropped something on the floor behind the night stand and was kinda grossed out by how dirty it was down there. The breakfast was sad, very little fruit to choose from, gross coffee and dried out biscuits. The pool is nothing to write home about and the exercise room had broken equipment. The staff were friendly and very helpful, no complaint there at all. Overall I don't think well be returning but it isn't a bad place to stay for the night if your just driving through on 80. We pulled in around 2am after driving through dense fog all the way from Chicago, and they put us in a nice room right at the top of the staircase. Seemed pretty decent for the price, but we didn't know we'd be waking up at 8 to buzz saws hammering drilling all around our window, and a man on the ledge looking into our room. Super unpleasant. The pictures are misleading. The hotel is in a bad neighborhood with heavy truck traffic. We were given a room and told it was a free upgrade but was the same room we paid for. We had to switch rooms because it was being cleaned when we walked in. Our room had bad water damage all over the ceiling. Nearly every outlet had gaudy yellow electrical strips. […] The king bed frame was "custom modified" to be a king and looked bad. Bath fan didn't work. Whirlpool drain was broke and left that way. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. Our room was in a building that was detached from the main building. Had to walk through cold rain to get to pool at night and breakfast in the morning. Bed was very comfortable.

The room was in fair condition but the pool and hot tub was neglected with maintenance. The hot tub water temperature was colder then the pool. The water was cloudy with lots of foam after turning it on also only 2 jets worked. When we told the desk clerk at check out she said oh really no one complained about it.

This hotel had clean, comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. The location was easy to find and parking was easy. The breakfast included waffles, biscuits & gravy, eggs, hasbrowns, cereals, bagels, English muffins, toast, pudding & applesauce. DON'T stay if you want a good night sleep in a clean room. People playing music all night and partying. Reported to front desk, but noise continued. Room had hair on bed and floor. White stains in chair. This is an old hotel they tried to renovate but failed badly!!! No elevator, cold pool, and the list goes on.

The room was not to my expectations. I saw tubs and shower that were not as they were shown. The Spa when activated brought up grime and I had to shower to get rid of the reaction this slime created to my skin. I could not eat the breakfast for it was the worst I ever had. The inside of the hotel was nice however I did not like that I was told that I would have to have a room outside of the main hotel because I was not very pleased with the neighborhood and outside of the hotel grounds. The staff was extremely helpful and we'd stay again just because of that. On the down side, the pool and spa area was a bit disappointing as it is indoors with very little natural light, as a result it felt very claustraphobic. The spa was lukewarm and very sudsy.

my suggestion to management is to disable the ability of room to room calls. A night manager can transfer a call. We, as well as a number of other guests were awakened early (4 am for us) by someone who identified himself as the desk manager, and that he had complaints of noise from our room and to come to the front desk. This hotel is in bit of a sketchy area, very industrial. But we were only staying the night, so it was no big deal. Upon first entering the hotel, it's very impressive with its double curved staircase. That was the LAST impressive thing about it. Our room was in a different building that we had to walk to, past overflowing garbage bins. The only ice […] machine in the building was out of service. The carpet on the stairs was ripped and stained. Our carpet in the room felt creepy (dirty?) The bathroom was very outdated, two of the lamps in the room didn't work, nor did the phone (no power). At breakfast, the power went out several times, leaving the waffle maker in a state of limbo.
