      This is a wonderful place. You turn off the highway a couple of miles from Bar Harbor, drive through some trees until you come to the back of the main building, and turn around to the front. There are a dozen or more rooms opening on to one continuous porch; the rooms are comfortable, with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The view is down across a broad lawn to trees and out to the ocean; there is no interruption of the view. There is a hot-tub, a swimming pool, and equipment for various games. One of the entrances to Acadia National Park is nearby.

      Housekeepers need to clean corners better, and dust on top of towel bars, toilet paper holder, etc. Bed very comfortable. I feel the hotel gave us a smaller room with less of a view because of the price we paid thru Hotels.com Overall I would stay there again.

    There were definitely cheaper options closer to Acadia National Park but I think this was a good place to stay if you didn't want to be in such a touristy, crowded area. The staff were very friendly.

    It was a basic place to sleep and shower, no more. Half hour away from Bar Harbor is too far for the price. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the guy who checked us in was rude. I won't be staying here again.

    The staff is very friendly and wonderful. It is about 18 miles from the inside of the park; however, we did not want to be right in the middle of everything because we preferred to be by stores/town, etc. It is a nice location if you don't want to be in all of the touristy area. Bar Harbor proper is very busy and expensive, so this was fine. The price […] was good. It is also great because you can have pets there - always support that! The rooms are clean, but spare. They could spruce the place up a bit as it needs maybe a splash of color and the carpet needed to be cleaned. But certainly not dirty. Just very basic. But that is all we really wanted or needed, so for the price it was fine. I just wanted to give the scoop for people who may think it is right there in the park or that want all that touristy stuff.     Off the highway pretty much. ot at all like the picture. Clerk was very friendly. Firts room had wet carpetting but office gave us another room without any hastle. All in all, not too bad of a place.

    For the price and type of lodging, I would rate this roadside inn as one of the best. Fair prices and friendly staff! I will stay there again and hope to make personal friends with the manager and her lead team! Nice bunch of folks! It was like we had our own concierge!
